Yet another of my favourite bakeries.
The staff are efficient and friendly.
The coffee is always fantastic with lots of froth. The pies are consistantly hot and excellent.
Tables and chairs outside under cover to protect you from the sun or sometimes the rain.
Off road parking in front of the premises.
Short walk from Puffing Billy Station.
OMG the savoury sausage rolls are too die for. Coffee is sensational, cakes, cookies, slices always walked away with a smile and a full belly 🤤 people behind the counter are so friendly and warm too.
Always good place to go to for pies and sweets. Service is always good friendly staff.😊 it hasn't changed still the same good bakery with plenty of treats.
Absolute gem of a bakery. We dropped in for a quick lunch. We bought the meat pie, sausage roll, veg pastie, and vanilla slice.
The pastry on the pie, sausage roll and pastie was great. No soft or soggy or chewy bits, how pastry should be. The sausage roll pastry was nicely laminated but not overly oily.
The spices in the savouries were good, not over the top and is complimented by a bit of tomato sauce.
The vanilla slice was good, but not amazing. The pastry was a bit softer and not crispy. The fondant was also a bit wet and sticky which made it a bit messier than usual to eat. The vanilla was nicely flavoured and was a good texture, it was not gelatinous/jelly or overly cream like.
I reckon it'd be a good slice on a better day, so we'll be going back!
Stopped here after a bushwalk. Coffee was good and staff were friendly
