Had wanted to try this ramen when we arrived in Gold Coast but it was closed for the day. Since we were staying nearby, we popped in another day to try.

We had ordered charsiu-men, Karaka-men & Shio spicy-men. I like my Shio spicy-men as its spiciness was just nice for me. It had the standard of ramen in Japan. 👍 I tried Karaka-men soup but it was a tad spicy for me.

If you have cravings for Asian food or soupy noodles, you must try this.

This is a fantastic place to enjoy flavourful ramen inside a shopping centre.
I am a long time fan of this business and all their locations are run the same.

Tonkotsu (Pork) Ramen is my go to and don't forget your first Kaedama (extra noodles) is free!

Lovely staff at this location and their gyoza is always cooked perfectly.
Best paired with the chilli oil that is readily available in the sitting area.

Such a small place with very limited menu. This didn’t give us a good impression and even expected fast food quality. However, the long queue was convincing enough so we tried it anyway. The taste of the cha-siew ramen was one of the best pork broth I had with good price and quality. The taste was light, smooth, and not salty like a lot of ramens.

My husband and I love Japanese ramen. We visited a few branches: Gold Coast, broadbeach, garden city and sunnybank.
We found for some reason the broadbeach branch the soup does not taste as good and as fragrant as the other store but in general it was still a very good bowl of ramen and for that I will give 4.5 star instead of 5

I come here every weekend and everyone I take literally loves it. Staff are amazing and the Ramen is even better! I recommend the Miso Ramen, it’s my usual and it’s goooooooooood

Delicious ramen!! Probably the best ramen I have ever had :) I had the spicy one and it wasn't too spicy

This is by far the best ramen on the coast. Must try the miso spicy men. Great taste and the free extra noodles is a bonus. For some reason all the other Hakataya Ramen places taste a little different but this one is on the mark.

Had the char-siu-men and the karaka-men. The char-siu ramen broth was nice but was very light in flavour. I would have preferred the broth to have more of a rich ramen-ey flavour. The karaka was nice and spicy, however, the broth itself wasn’t really flavourful. Customer service was wonderful. Food came out very fast.

ramen was authentic and affordable!! they have a deal that you get extra ramen for free and it was so good that i had two servings of ramen😋 highly recommend hakataya if you're looking for ramen in the gold coast!

Best Ramen on the Gold Coast!! Everytime we come for a holiday, this is our first stop.

Nice restaurant chain with a lot of customers on weekends and holidays. The queue gets digested quite fast and depending on where you want to have it may incur additional waiting times. Dining in is around the perimeter of the restaurant. If the wait is too long, you have an option to take away but have it ready to eat so you can sit at the adjacent food court, which should have seats available. Ramen is up to good standard and would try the gyoza next time as I forgot to order it.

Very tasty ramen at a great price. Had to wait abit for a seat but wasn't too long overall. Extra noodles were for free which is always a bonus.
