I love the rustic decor of this place! Their mocha was amazing, possibly one of the best in Gordon and the almond croissant super filling. The banh mi was also delicious, although on the pricey side. The only letdown was the lemon meringue tart which tasted slightly of being left in the fridge too long. Despite that, it was great finally trying pottery green and I'll for sure be back!
There was a long line for coffee and that's why it attracted us to check out this place. The cafe had a rusty ambience and the menu cover was made of leather, which I thought was very interesting.
I ordered the mac & cheese crossiant which was on the specials menu, friend ordered their special baguette with hollandaise, bacon and poach egg, and we both got a Begian hot chocolate. The mac & cheese crossiant is larger than I thought, the pastry is flaky and the mac & cheese is fried perfectly.
I visited here for the first time in years and it's still very busy, which proves just how popular it is. The food was good and I loved the fresh sourdough.
There is limited street parking outside but the council carpark next to Gordon Station is a few minutes walk away.
