Great food and, they accept Dine and Discover vouchers! I've lived in this area more on than off for about 40yrs and have been to this restaurant several times years ago when then, I wasn't very impressed. I was so pleasantly surprised last night at the improvement and quality of the food. I wasn't totally surprised though as I'd heard on the grapevine that owners of what used to be a very popular Thai restaurant known as the Thai Tucka just up the road that sadly closed some time back, are involved in this restaurant. I practically interrogated the lovely lady who seemed to be running the place - so enthused was I to learn that I might still be able to get quality Thai as I have for many years at the Thai Tucker; being a Monday, it was a quiet night and once we got talking, the lady kindly shared about how they'd taken over this restaurant about a year ago and assured me that amongst her brothers and other family members, the previous owners of the Thai Tucka also, at times work here. Once I'd tasted our entrees (curry puffs and chicken sate), the lady sheepishly asked if it tasted the same as the recently closed popular Thai Tucka restaurant food; with joy and jubilation I replied it did! We weren't disappointed with the other dishes pictured here - Saffron rice, a duck dish and green chicken curry - all so fresh, authentic and tasty. I've been to Thailand several times, love Thailand, Thai food, the people and culture so am so happy to have found some good Thai food again in my local area. On the downside I feel the restaurant lacks ambience and would probably be quite noisy on a busy night but some people like that; we were there on a quiet Monday night so noise this time wasn't an issue so I can't really say/I'm just going by 'past' experience. There is a huge area out the back which would be ideal for larger groups and functions; at times in the past we've been allowed to sit out the back but not always; if noise bothers you like it does me, it might be worth asking as its a lovely area. The restaurant appeared very clean, the service was friendly, swift and good and the food was excellent. Two of us brought our own wine, one had a coke, we had two mains, two entrees and a rice and the bill came to around $55 (including our dine and discover voucher) and we were offered and given a takeaway container to take some leftovers home. Last night was Mums choice for a late mothers day celebration; three of us agreed, we loved the food and shall return.

Fantastic Thai restaurant with great service and food. They offer a lunchtime special 11-3pm? and there is so much choice with all dishes costing $9. Comes with oranges and a chocolate for dessert.

The best Thai food that I have had in Sydney. Low oil. Tasty.

Tasty and flavourful Vegetarian Thai food. Friendly and courteous staff. Good location. Car parking can be tricky.
