The pepper chicken is the highlight dish, by far the best curry I have ever had with a very unique flavour. Very highly recommended.
My husband and I just found this place by chance and we’ve been twice in two weeks! The food is exceptional and the staff are so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend this place, best south Indian food in town!

We have tried different Indian restaurants in Melbourne. Most of them carry the "Indian" name in their tags and menus but from a taste aspect, nothing comes close to Inka. We were bit worried when we stepped in considering this is in the quieter area of Hawthorn. Thankfully, we took that step. Right from the menu, service and finally the food, the whole experience was fantastic. Initially, I thought of keeping this as a secret but I really want this restuarant to get teh required attention. Food is very authentic south indian and fresh as well and does not spoil your taste bud and your stomach. Go for it. We will definitely come here quite often.
Delicious South Indian curries at a great price point. Homemade parotta was perfect. Will go back to try more of the menu. Filling a gap in Melbourne's food scene by providing good South Indian food. The staff were very attentive. My only negatives were they only had available 2 of the many desserts on the menu :( and the flashing blue lights were difficult to get adjusted to.
This place is a must if you want to have authentic South Indian delicacies.Your taste buds will feel and experience spices exploding from the genuine dishes.Uppu Kari Chicken and Pepper chicken were just scrumptious.Definately a must eat place for luscious,mouthwatering authentic flavours
What a delight! Highly recommend trying this place out. Beautiful rich curries. We had the prawn skewers (must try), paneer butter masala (delicious gravy!) & the Kerala fish curry. The service was outstanding and I cannot wait to return to try more on the menu.
Great place to have Indian food. The chicken uppu curry is a must have. The vathakulambu was rich in flavour, giving an authentic south Indian taste and was complemented well by the mor drink.
The people at the place were also warm and explained the dishes well. I'll definitely visit this place again!
This place has such delicious food, great prices, fantastic service! Highly recommend the ghee podi masala dosai and the paniyarum! The staff were so helpful and friendly, helping us and recommending many dishes :)
Wow the food was so yummy! I loved the kothu and the curries! The service was fantastic too, the waitress kindly asked if we wanted the menu explained and that made all the difference in ordering! Will definitely be back!
