Such a beautiful venue. Ive driven past on many occasions and wanted to check it out. Beautiful inside great vibe some drink specials DJ playing some tunes it was perfect for a Friday night.
This bar boasts an immaculate interior which will take your breathe away. Lush sofas and chairs and a cocktail menu to die for. I had the frosty fruits and my word was it good, I could have had so many more but had to stop myself.
Highly recommend I'll be back for sure.
Not a place I would normally frequent, but I happened to stop by and was surprised at the range of craft beers on offer. It's a slightly upscale space with an older demographic than my own, but the drink selection makes it worth a visit. I didn't try any boilermakers, but each option on the menu sounds amazing. I'd love to go back and try one.
My absolute favourite bar in Hawthorn. Awesome Deco and really chilled vibes. Great beers on tap and a wide range of whiskeys. It takes a step away from all the uni student vibes and is a great place to catch up and have a chat.
If you're looking for classy but still affordable drinks this is the place to be!
Stunning, an absolutely stunning and sophisticated bar! Tim.E and I were in the mood for mulled wine and came here after a recommendation from a pub not too far.
Service was great and my mulled wine lovely, I am sure the cocktails here would be superb and if I am ever in the area again no doubt will come back and try.
Lots of seating and cosy booths at the back of the bar which would be good for group functions or visits.
Really enjoyed the Kilburn! Really nice cocktail joint in Hawthorn. Without having to venture right into city. It was just busy enough on the Friday night we went on. Service was good. Long wait for drinks but that's expected. Nice music and cool surroundings. Their pizza was good too which I heard they order from the restaurant across the rd. Very good! Definitely want to go back!

Beautiful venue, great modern retro decor and fantastic drinks, lovely part of town to celebrate a wedding or birthday or any type of function.
I stumbled into this amazing cocktail bar on a Friday night and absolutely loved it! The old bank exterior hides one of the most beautiful bars outside of the city. I grabbed a couple of the house cocktails on the bartenders recommendation which were great. I will be back soon to start getting through the crazy amount of whisky though. Top place.
Don’t left the outside fool you, inside is a nice little cosy cocktail bar with a great atmosphere. Was a function being held so couldn’t relax in the main area which was a little disappointing but was still nice to relax at the back where they have some tables and booths.
If you can handle the intensity of the cigar smoke pummeling your senses into deep submission, the atmosphere of this venue has a nostalgic charm about it that makes a quick social drink there a very pleasant experience indeed.
My associates seemed to enjoy it considerably and it was certainly not the first time they sat down here for a scotch. However I only lasted forty minutes before my eyes started to water and my throat started to struggle to make sound against the grim sounding rasp my voice acquired somewhere after my first drink and second conversation.
If you like smoking this IS the place for you. There's not many places like it. If you don't like smoke then you should have avoided cigar bars to start with, but if you have to go to one, then it certainly is a higher standard than most.
The term, excellence, falls just short of the experience you will have at Baranows Lounge. Not only are the staff very professional and attentive, but the drink selection is tremendous.
In particular the special cocktails are so terribly underated and deserving of much better acclaim. The craftsmanship of Starks Revenge is a wonder to behold and a pleasure to savour. I enjoy my visits each and every time and would recommend a stop in at any time your looking for high quality service, banter and a fine drink.
