Chicken Pie Addiction! A long standing local foodie haven where it's all about quality. The chicken and leek pie is an absolute standout - packed with chicken and just enough creamy leek sauce to make you feel indulgent. The beef and red wine pie is equally generous but I can't break the chicken and leek addiction! The casseroles, quiches and take home food make a great gift for new mums or someone that needs some time off in the kitchen (let's face it... that's basically everyone) and now they are open for a cheeky wine late in the week- perfect for locals looking for a vino spot in Hawthorn East.

Be prepared to Pay for Quality!. Food is incredible here - their chicken and leek pies and salmon quiches are to die for! Their chocolate lamingtons are amazing (it's chocolate cake and not some cheap and nasty sponge!) as are their other cakes. Probably the only gripe is that their prices are horrendous so only good for the occasionally wallet whipping, and the location - parking is a bugger and waiting for your goodies can take a while - they are extremely slow. Having said that, they are very friendly and chatty which helps when you are squeezed up against tables and chairs. There isn't alot of room and when designer mums or little old ladies push in front of you - yep - it happens each time I am there, it frustrates the living daylights out of me! I am rake thin too, so don't actually take up that much space. Nonetheless, the food is amazing and well-worth the occasional treat but be warned of the Chanel No. 5 wearing atrocities and the elderly dears while you're there!
