The service is good and the owners husband and wife very sweet and helpful
Fantastic food, service isn't great but definitely not offensive. We come here at least once a week and have had great food. I would recommend the steamed chicken and prawn dumplings :)
My partner and I love the Kung Po Chicken on Rice and Shred Pork and Spicy Eggplants on Rice. Portions are huge. We'd pay for a bit extra (about $1 per dish) to get additional meat in each dish. Meals are fresh, taste is great, very authentic. The BEST Kung Po Chicken and Shred Pork and Spicy Eggplants in Hawthorn.
Personally I don't even like dumplings, but people had recommended this place to me and I thought I would try it.
I think I might have been converted to liking dumplings.

Quite average dumpling. Nothing WOW or special, but the price is quite attractive. Average food for daily lunch.

Una Dumplings serves good food at affordable prices. The menu is comprehensive. The soups are yummy. The mains are too, and generous with ingredients. Vegetables are freshly cooked with a little crunch. Never over-cooked. Always fresh ingredients and complex and subtle flavours.
Remarkably, no after effects either. It is one of the few Asian restaurants on the Glenferrie strip that does not leave me with after effects. Service is friendly, if not yet polished. They have very decent red and white house wines for $4 glass too!
The dumplings and wonton are very tradition! This is my sixth time having dinner in this restaurant and very time I am satisfied. I'm a Chinese and the taste is very close to the hometown taste.

Greasy. Oily. Salty. Fatty. It's glorious! If you had expectations of anything else, you shouldn't be here in the first place. Dumplings was surprisingly decent, with thin layers and flavoursome chicken and prawns filling with solid bite. The chilli sauce was also well balanced enough to complement the dumplings. The char kwe tiao was actually nice and packed a punch. Service was efficient and curt. Una is also licensed, with beers standing ready, which was another pleasant surprise. Satisfying enough for an Asian craving.
Try the pork and celery fired dumplings they are awesome. The hot pot got amazing flavour and as well as the beef with black pepper sauce. Strong recommend the chicken with chilli sauce. The price is not high and it's indeed a very good place to enjoy delicious Chinese food with a whole bunch of friends, either having there or takeaway. All my Chinese friends love this place and reckon this is the best Chinese restaurant on Glenferrie Rd.
Came here for lunch the other day and to my surprise they were quite busy! Staff were friendly and prompt. I ordered the fried noodles with beef and vegetables. The vegetables were lovely and had quite the variety. The sauce unfortunately wasn't the best I've ever had but not terrible either. Everyone else was super happy with their meal choices with plenty to choose from to satisfy meat eaters and vegetarians!
