I took my wife to Elmars on Valentines evening for dinner. Food was amazing and the staff were delightful. You have a lovely place here Elmar and Anette. I would recommend your establishment to all my friends.

We had lunch here on a Friday and it was well attended for a weekday. Food was delicious especially the hazelnut apple strudel.. to die for. Lots of elements on the plate it was really well presented and delicious. Friendly service and nice vibe.
Visited here a few times. Good services. Prices are slightly pricey, but worth it. The pork knuckle is amazing. Good beer also. Love the outdoor area. They host good Oktoberfest !

Perfect day and wandered off to a perfect brunch! There was some misunderstanding but the Team were helpful with the German Menu and then comes the fantabulous Shank and Schnitzel! The music settles us and keep us grooving. And of course just 2 rounds of German beer which is a shame but will definitely come back with friends for the third. Nice place for a platter of Germany :)
Perfect weekend to spend at the swan valley with good beer and German food! I still like this place even after many years. Their garden salad with additional chicken breast is very fresh, perfect as an accompaniment to the main. We were sharing the potato skin baskets which is really crispy, the elmar's bratwurst plate which consists of the three different bratwurst and last but not least my favourite pork shank with mustard and sauerkraut. The crispy pork skin and its tender meat just perfect for an afternoon and we came out of lunch with a full tummy!

After a last minute decision to have an unplanned lunch date on a Sunday long weekend looked like a bad idea after being turned away from 2 restaurants, we finally got into here . Huge restaurant, very German , heaps of staff and food that will get your heart pumping for sure. He had the pork snitzel, it was tender and pleased it was not oily and fatty. Chips ok. I had the small serve of German sausage and mash . It was yum . They also have live music, & a deli if you wish to purchase goods to take home. Great family venue, it gets really busy, and can get noisy . Prices are ok. ..

Not only did this place look good from the road, it was clean, green, spacious and well designed throughout. The service right from entry was quick, friendly and helpful. Food was good. We sat inside the restaurant (there's also an outside area with plenty of lawn and a playground). As a table of 8 we ordered schweinshaxe, fish, scotch fillet and pork schnitzels. Everyone was impressed with quality and flavour. Drinks menu was fantastic. Only gripe: I would have loved automatic doors of disabled toilet!
Came in for the Mother's day lunch, it was a pleasent environment. Staff were very attentive and friendly. I ordered the pan-fried duck which was super moist and cooked perfectly. Have no complaints I come here at least a couple of times a year. The beer and wine list never let you down!
I have been here a few times and have always enjoyed the meals. I love the casual atmosphere. They have a decent menu selection and all dishes are executed well. It is a great place to catch up with friends. I do recommend!
Amazing staff, super friendly and helpful. We had the Mac and cheese, burgermeister and kids nuggets. All meals beyond expectations so delicious and filling. Nice clean bathrooms. Kids eat free Friday super affordable. We will definitely be back cheers to all
We have been eating at Elmar's many times, may be once every 6-12 months, food is still good. Today, we orders a Elmar's platter that can fill up 4 adults easily for $129.
I am not a beer drinker so cannot comment on their home brewed beer.
Nice place to attend for casual lunch or dinner or functions.
Great atmosphere for the family, the live music is a great touch. Little ones loved the grass area at the back. The playground could be bigger but the kids don’t mind. Have free wifi but when I asked non of the staff know the password.
Good serving size and of course perfectly cook chips. Overall a good day out for the family.
Beer was fine, food was fine, although the Schweinshaxe (pork knuckle) could have done with a little crackle, although I might be being a little harsh as I don't think crackle is traditional, maybe someone will correct me. What really makes this place is the people, the staff were all wonderful.
Went to this place for lunch and had the Elmar's Bratwurst Plate Trio. Three different types of sausages and mash. Tasted good. Was about 36 dollars.
The place is good for small kids. There is a large grassed area at the back and a small playground.
