Went for wine tasting but decided on lunch for 2. Had the fish of the day which was red emperor and the lamb rack. Fish was cooked well and the mash potato was delicious. Lamb rack cooked as requested, medium rare and lots of meet, however needed more of the jus as was a bit dry at the end when finishing the generous serve of lamb.
We enjoyed family lunch on a lovely sunny day. The food is fresh and decent, the view of vineyard and relaxing atmosphere is worth visiting though the service is a bit dry.

A slightly overcast day with occasional drizzle welcomed food and wine bloggers to the second Harvest@Sittella event on March 24th – again we gathered in the rotunda on the lawns of the winery – recalling that last year, after once in a hundred year flood in the Valley, it had the waters lapping at it – today the lake was some distance away.
Sittella has a beautiful setting in the Swan Valley. Eating out on the deck overlooking the vines is always a pleasant way to spend a long lunch on a Sunday afternoon.
The service is always good and wait staff are very attentive.
The 4 of us shared the Sittella Winemaker’s Plate + the Tarago river blue cheese tart from the set menu. Both were beautiful presented and very tasty.
2 from our group had beef- roasted beef (again set menu) and the Angus Porterhouse from A la carte menu - both failed to impress.
The duck and pork belly were perfectly cook and very tasty. The pork belly cracking was cooked to perfection and the crispiness of the duck skin was mouth watering. Both well worth going back for.
The banana brûlée was interesting but is a once off try and the Tangy lemon curd tart (set menu) is flavourful and lovely.
The experience at Sitella was fantastic for a wet, September day. We met our company at the tasting cellar and selected a Sparkling Shiraz to accompany the meal, which we ordered once inside. Despite the constant visitors and tours they always generously give you a wonderful tasting experience.
The restaurant is always busy which is understandable, given the vineyard vistas, ambience and good fare. I selected the fish of the day, which was served with a simple mash and gremolata. Go with decadence in mind or order an entree if you don't want something too heavy. I usually opt for a healthier choice but it was hard to do so with the menu and rich accompaniments. They do offer the options of altering, but it was very hard to choose a lighter option. Others enjoyed the shellfish chowder and steak with fried onions and potatoes.
This restaurant was awesome!!! Their food, wine, service and atmosphere were all fantastic. I ordered a set lunch menu which were included one main and one dessert. I chose panko scrambled beef and strawberry dessert. They were totally GREAT. My husband chose beef steak and it was also nice! I would like to come here again especially for the special day. In addition, I recommend you should come here on sunny day because outside tables seats are so comfortable:))
I have been in Perth, Western Australia, coming up to 8 months now and I still feel the city’s best feature is its close proximity to the wine region of the Swan Valley. The Swan Valley is the second closest wine region to a capital city in the world – being a mere 20-30minute drive from the city.
Visiting from Melbourne and did a tour of the Swan Valley. Had lunch at Sittella. Lovely winery. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Had the pork belly entree, which was cooked well with good seasoning and flavours. Had the duck for main, which was cooked really well and had a delicious orange sauce. Pricey, but normal for the area and good quality. Good serving sizes. Decor could do with a refresh. Lovely staff in the wine tasting room. Their rose is delicious - light, crisp, dry, and only $19 a bottle! Really enjoyable lunch.
The ambience of this cafe is lovely if you get a chance to sit against the railings overlooking the vines. Service staffs were friendly. Food was quality, though serving size depends on the food chosen. My friend had a pie, and it was a decent portion size. I had the moussaka and it turned out extremely small. Desserts were nice. I rate it a 3.5 due to the portion size, i believe for the price it could be larger.
Food were not bad! The rabbit pie was yummy! The sweet white wine is very tasty, the rice pudding was a bit too heavy for desert tho. Very nice environment, we went for our anniversary, not dis pointed!

We also had the Kangaroo which was cooked medium rare and was pretty tasty too.
Unfortunately we had no room for dessert but we surely will come back another time.

Had a great time at sitella. We went along for my mum's birthday (Saturday 9th October) and originally got seated between the two toilets in the main room. The main room was also very noisy. Fortunately after asking for somewhere else we were given a table in the nest which I'm assuming might be the function room alongside the main venue. Lovely and quiet with a breeze and sunshine, beautiful setting overlooking the winery. Service was amazing, we had a slightly older blonde women whose name I can't recall (sorry!) But her service was impeccable- super polite, knowledgeable, good timing with requests, orders, really made our experience. Thankyou!
Food was delicious, portion sizes plenty, and presentation was beautiful. A fair amount of variation on the menu and even on the set menu which made order from that an easy choice. Nothing hugely stood out to me as a star dish, except maybe the duck entree, all dishes were relatively contemporary australian/french feeling. Simple and tasty.
Drinks were expensive but tasty, showcasing the swan valley, coffees were good. Didn't feel rushed or hassled at all. Overall a really great experience that we will remember. My only qualms were that I'd specifically asked if happy birthday could be written on my mother's dessert via email, and had it confirmed. And this did not happen. Cannot fault anything else!
Not sure about the restaurant but their wines especially whites and bubbles are so nice and so so so reasonable. Reds are light for me but my family loves their reds. Restaurants are always fully packed. No chance of getting in without booking. But sometimes they offer lovely cheese plate at the cellar door so we could enjoy wine tasting this way and feels appreciated :)
We enjoyed a lovely lunch on Wednesday for a combined family birthday celebration! Exquisite food, attentive service, beautiful ambience:our table overlooked the vineyard. Considering the 5 star quality of these factors, not exorbitantly priced at all ! In these grim times, there's nothing like a beautiful meal to nourish and lift our spirits.

I went with my husband. We both chose the 3 course menu for $62.50. There were 3 entree choices, 4 mains and 2 dessert. There was also a la carte menu. The food was lovely as always and plenty of it. There is a lovely selection of wine. You can also do tasting there as well. Great service and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit. 🍷🥂
We came for a lunch having previously had a tasting at the cellar door of Sittella's very good wines.
Sat in the restaurant, over looking the vines, you can tell you are in WA's oldest wine region.
The food was very good, even if the lamb did not come as the described "medium rare". More in the medium side. And still tasty. The fish was good, and a little on the dry side.
As you would expect the wines were excellent.
Well, there isn’t too much more than can be said about the quality and service at Sittella. If there were 6,7, 8 stars I’d take the highest available each time.
