Super cheap for what you get size and quality wise, great service, lovely friendly staff, fast food delivery once ordered and delicious meals! Favourite go-to place for a cheap (but huge!) meal! �
By far the best value in Hobart, $12 rump with chips and salad, $16 meat lovers parmy, $12 beef schnitzel.. great pub grub.. would give it 10/10 anyday !
Went to this hotel for dinner twice during our 4 night stay in Hobart recently. We found the meals to be of a high standard with plenty of options for main and dessert. The prices were also VERY reasonable. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming and relaxed. Would recommend.
Can't rate the food or service highly enough, and the value was amazing!!! We were so impressed, that even though we were only in Tassie for 4 days, we ate dinner here twice!! The steaks here were better than one of the supposed "high end" resturants we ate at in Hobart!!!
There is nothing better than a friendly classic Aussie pub. We called in here for lunch and a beer on a Saturday afternoon. The place was filled with a mixture of locals and visitors. Guiness on tap which made my husband happy. The food was really good and value for money is incredible. We both got chicken snitzels and the meals were large and filling and delicious....and the price was soooo cheap for what you got.
If we had been staying in Hobart longer we would've eaten here multiple times. A great find.

I was in Hobart for a few days, and I couldn't find anywhere open to eat in the evenings, outside of subway and a lot of Asian cuisines (which unfortunately isn't my taste) and I was feeling increasingly desperate to locate somewhere to get a good easy meal.
I stumbled upon this little pub and honestly it's a absolute gem.
Good food, good service, simple and warm atmosphere, good location, and serves food on Sunday nights too!
I ate here the remaining 3 nights of my trip to Hobart and I'm sad I won't be able to go again.
If you're looking for a quick good meal, lots of variety and good servings at great prices, hit them up.
I also highly reccomend "the wedge parmy" and their soup of the day, YUM!
