Fantastic food! My wife has tried several New York bagel (in New York) and she says the bagels at Bury Me Standing are much better. The best bagels we have had. Paired with their delicious coffee this is a must visit for vegans and vegetarians visiting Hobart.

Bury Me Standing has it all.
The coffee is average, but the bagels, oh the bagels. Savoury or sweet, they have you covered. The Apple and cranberry with butter and cinnamon sugar or the jalapeno and cheddar with cream cheese, you are totally in for a winner. They also have a stand at the Salamanca markets, sold out early afternoon when we went.
Great coffee and friendly staff, quirky little cafe. Loved the little takeaway section for the bagels separated from the cafe, should have tried one but ate too much for breakfast! They looked great.
Picked up a morning coffee here while visiting the market. Taste was good (albeit a little milky for my liking) and service was quick and incredibly friendly!
Food 1.5: bagels were good, chewy on the outside ... but I couldn't seem to find any apple pieces or taste in apple bagel 🤦🏻♀️🤷🏼♀️ ($4 for blueberry & $3.5 for other flavours)

Decent area to sit and eat outside the 'hole in the wall' shop. The bagels are good although expensive and they have friendly staff. I hear they do coffee too
Delicious sweet and savoury bagels. I had a cheese and paprika bagel with a (very generous) chive and cream cheese schmear, boyfriend had a cinnamon bagel with cookie schmear. Both were very enjoyable. Friendly and helpful service. There's a small seating area outside, but you can also get bagels and coffee to go!

I've been having bagels and coffee regularly at Bury Me Standing for over a year, and even though my work travels take me to Melbourne and Sydney, in that time I have not found ANY bagel and coffee places to rival BMS. The vast number of combinations of bagels and cream cheese available in both sweet and savoury arenas should satisfy most tastes. My favourite - jalapeño on jalapeño!

Wow! The best bagels I've ever eaten in my life, delicious! You just enter the place and it's so cozy, the staff is very friendly and pff smells so delicious. Also, the coffee is great ☕️. If you are visiting, you must try, you won't regret it🥖🥨🥯👌🏻.
Wow! What a spot. It was so busy on Sunday so came back Monday. Great coffee. Fast and very friendly service, with a great recommendation to suit me. I had the cinnamon bagel with butter, so good! I also loved the music 🤩

Awesome place that is mostly vegan. Their food is delicious and fresh, their baked bread and other goods are a dream. This place is a must visit whenever we are in Hobart. Get in early to secure one of their famous cinnamon scrolls!
Delicious bagels and coffee. The Peckels Bakkas (brioche donuts) are seriously incredible, phenomenal, life changing - must try!
