I was meant to go hoping from Cocktail bar to cocktail bar but Gold Bar was so fantastic that we spent 3hrs there instead! Loved it! Highly recommend. Weather you no what kinda drinks you like or not, the guys at Gold Bar will make you something special regardless! Good times, good atmosphere, good drinks and good staff! ��

Fantastic! Love gin but have no idea about the good stuff. Asked for a cocktail of the bartender’s choice and it was incredible! Will be back! Fantastic atmosphere and an owner who obviously loves his business. Definitely worth checking out.

Fabulous off menu cocktail spot in the harbour area. They know just the cocktail to make for you based on the taste you describe. Inside the bar is super cosy and intimate, and there's more seating in the historic (also inside and also cosy) courtyard which is an amazing space to have a drink. The staff were super friendly and happy to chat about the history of the building and various other things. Also it's super close to the airport bus stop and I highly recommend getting 3 cocktails in before your flight.

Good cocktail bar, when they say a drink is strong it's accurate. More seating in the atrium with historic wooden flour mill storage silos along one wall.

Came here for one drink and stayed for many! It's a tiny, tiny bar where they make drinks to order based on your taste preferences. I'm so happy we stumbled upon this bar, every drink hit the nail on the head 👌

Best bar in Hobart hands down. The bar tenders are geniuses. You could give them the vaguest flavour profile you want and they will make the best cocktail you can imagine. Definitely a must visit if you are in town.

Absolute gem of a place tucked away just off of the marina. We went in and asked if we could do a tasting of tassie gins and before we knew it we were presented seven gins that matched our flavour preferences perfectly. Lachie was an awesome bartender and had heaps of knowledge. Skip the distillery tours, just go here.
