Great little takeaway tucked in a conspicuous corner of Hobart.
Freshly made to order burgers, great pies and sausage rolls on offer as well along side other moreish pastries.
Hits the spot especially on these autumnal days

Budgie Smugglers is a MUST if you are in Hobart! Checking in late to our hotel, Budgie Smugglers was the only place open and I did have my doubts - location and decor - former petrol station/garage? However, they didn't win Best Burger in Hobart for nothing! The burgers and chips are cooked to order and are absolutely delicious! Their ingredients are fresh and tasty. There is ample parking and seating outside. Relaxed atmosphere - a hidden gem! Side note...if you brought your swimming gear on your trip, get dressed up and take a photo in front of the budgie - you'll be on their wall of fame!

Don't be put off by the name. The burgers are worth the buck and definitely tasty. Great when made to order

Say what?!!! Do I want bacon on my burger?!! Crispy, salty and oh so juicy rashers of pan fried heaven?!! Yes please!! Cram as many of those bad boys in as the laws of physics allow!!
