The food is bad enough let alone the fake trading hours you guys have up online! We the construction workers at the RHH would make you a dime if you pulled your fingers out of your bottom end and made decent hot food, but we all go to the Court House Cafe.

Budgie Smuggles WAS Hobart's best burger shop, hands down. WAS. It changed hands in late 2017. The pineapple, beetroot and even the mustard have vanished from the burgers. They aren't something special anymore, yet the price remains the same. It isn't half as busy as it was and no longer seems to be open on weekends and evenings or for events. It's such a shame.

Budgie Smugglers is a MUST if you are in Hobart! Checking in late to our hotel, Budgie Smugglers was the only place open and I did have my doubts - location and decor - former petrol station/garage? However, they didn't win Best Burger in Hobart for nothing! The burgers and chips are cooked to order and are absolutely delicious! Their ingredients are fresh and tasty. There is ample parking and seating outside. Relaxed atmosphere - a hidden gem! Side note...if you brought your swimming gear on your trip, get dressed up and take a photo in front of the budgie - you'll be on their wall of fame!

Good plain, greasy but so yummy burgers! If you are watching your weight, better not visit Budgie Smuggler's joint. The place is small and we also discovered it by chance while walking around Hobart. Prices are average but even if they weren't, you definitely should go and try their bacon: simply yummylicious!

Diners from Perth. We are from Perth WA, what a change to get service with a smile and so obliging. They were about to close but they said no come in and order what you like. If this was back in PERTH THEY WOULD HAVE JUST SHUT THE DOOR. They were careful with the order as I had a food allergy and nothing was too much trouble for them. A bonus was the food was very tasty. We had a chicken burger with the lot. No complaints from us.
