Went here for breakfast on a cold & rainy day. We were both in the mood for a big breakfast so when we saw that they did one we were in. it was about 9am and we were the first to arrive. We had our pick of our spot table n chairs or sofa. We were reading what the big breakfast had in it and it seemed like alot of food. I asked if it would feed two and the waiter said yes(we appreciate the honesty). We ordered it and he was right there was almost two of everything. Including perfectly cooked hash browns :D Not only was the serving size perfect for us but everything on that plate tasted amazing! I would def order the big brekkie again. The milkshakes were very tasty and unique. I'd never had pretzels in my milkshake before and it tasted quite nice. The brownie milkshake was also good but tasted a tiny bit dry. The interior was relaxed/shabby but it was worth it for the food. We will return here.
Cosy cafe with indoor and outdoor seating and a menu punctuated with healthy options such as their breakfast bowls. The “Morning Bowl” was particularly delicious with its bounty of greens including kale, slaw and a half avocado, topped with smoked salmon, poached eggs and house relish all atop perfectly cooked brown rice.
We came on a quiet day so the cafe wasn’t busy which was a shame because there wasn’t much of a vibe of course. But we were very please rly surprised with the food. Not only did it taste delicious but it was also beautifully presented! I will definitely be back:)

My fav Marrickville cafe. Well decorated, comfortable, fantastic service, a great selection of food and drinks. I love the Magic Mushrooms brekky and the Chai is so good. Thanks guys!
Absolutely enjoyed my food and coffee. What a great cafe in marrickville... the best so far ... very pleasant interior and a very friendly service along with perfect breakfast. Great variety of breakfast,brunch and lunch...will try the halloumi and textured fennel salad on my next visit an those amazing milkshakes sounds hell promising... yummy yummy.. great job @thegianntbeancafe:)

A small, yet invitingly busy cafe near bus stop and 20-30mins walk from nearest 2 stations (Sydenham (closest) and Marrickvillle), located just off Marrickvillle Rd.
Staff are polite, friendly, efficient, attentative and proficient + are extra sensitive/accommodating to persons such are Myself with allergies/food sensitive needs; including egg/nut allergies, vegetarian/vegan options, as well as soy and pay milk beverages.
A varied and wide variety of menu and drinks
options means you'll be coming back again again.
Food and drinks are moderately priced, generously proportioned and well worth the wait.

Having visited numerous times for both breakfast, brunch, lunch & takeaway, I love the place more & more. Excellent coffee, delicious food, beautiful house made muffins & brownies & the biggest friendliest smiles and service!

I stumbled upon this unassuming cafe & was so pleasently surprised! The menu had lots of options & on this occasion for breakfast I tried the big breakfast (swapped poached for fried eggs) which had absolutely everything yummy. Bacon, 2 eggs, 2 hashbrowns, chorizo, grilled mushroom, spinach, smashed avo & a cube of feta. It was all cooked really well & presented beautifully. The ricotta pancakes were light & not overly sweet with a berry compote, ricotta & fresh seasonal fruit (I added Nutella!) Again it looked so pretty & was delicious to eat. The scrambled eggs were done well and the house made raspberry white choc muffin was warm from the oven & fluffy. Coffee was excellent as was the service & super friendly staff. Really enjoyed everything here & looking forward to returning soon!

We swung past here before I had to take my partner to the airport, we enjoyed our early morning breakfast, was surprised that the chef personally delivered our dishes. I never eat rocket but wow I ate the whole dish and it was flavoursome, also can’t go wrong with fresh watermelon juice, customer service was good also.
