This cafe is managed by owner Nat who’s dedicated her cafe to her father.
They have a beautiful menu, great waffles, cake options and coffee.

| Marrickville | Grinded for A.B | Located in a quiet neighbourhood of Marrickville, this hidden gem has some parking available on the side streets and serves up some of the delicious food including gluten free and vegan options, coffee and milkshakes on the menu. It has some outdoor seating with lots of sunlight, service was good and staff were friendly and accomodating, so that was one of the plus for me.

🍴Signature Lebrekkie - This board has been of my most favourite as this was nice to share with friends and everything on the board was impactful and flavoursome in its own rights. It has labne & zaatar, fresh tomatoes, cucumber, olives, grilled halloumi, beautifully seasons sujuk sausage and generous amount of well cooked scrambled eggs. Also has a side of Zaatar focaccia bread. A must order for group of friends or yourself if you’re hungry.

🥑Zaa’mashed Avo - A classic favourite one cannot go past. It has mashed avo with feta, mushroom, spanish onion and tomato with homemade beetroot paste served on sourdough bread. Still craving this one.

🥞Blueberry Protein Pancakes - This was a nice housemade pancakes that is stacked 5 layers, and has blueberries filling inside which was nice, and had a large serving honeyed ricotta topped with more blueberries and pecans. Yum!

🥗The Mediterranean bowl - This was particullary a nice hearty dish, has nice serving of mince beef, poached eggs, spinach, grilled tomato with generous amount of hummus and foccacia bread.

🥥Acai Bowl - A classic brunch dish and also a favourite of mine. This one is simple, beautiful and flavoursome. Has granola, coconut, fresh seasonal fruits and honey. Yum!

☕️Greek Style Frappe - This one is not sweet, and not too thick and has enough caffeine to keep you awake.

🍉Watermelon lychee - What can I say about this one, its refreshing and nicely crushed watermelons topped with ice.

Been keen on trying their burgers as well but their other options were also good.

On a sunny corner in Marrickville Grinded for A.B is serving fresh coffee and offers a Middle Eastern influenced menu.
The interior is a modern industrial style with some outdoor street seating. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, big thumbs up on the service!
We were very impressed with the Nutella French Toast that was generously coated in shiny Nutella and fresh fruits. A chocolate lovers dream!
The Smashed Avo is always a favourite with one piece of toast with tomatoes and the other with sautéed mushroom.
Their twist on the common Açai Bowl with chia seeds, coconut and granola was refreshing as we detected a hint of honey and possibly rose water to lift the dish.
If you’ve worked up a bit of an appetite we recommend the burger and chips or The Signature Le Brekkie, with scrambled eggs, haloumi, olives, chorizo, fresh cucumber, tomato, labneh and zaatar with Lebanese bread.
It was a lovely experience visiting Grinded For A.B as it was away from the main shopping centre in a quiet location with lots of natural light and good vibes. Will be back!
Ok coffee. Limited food selection, mostly stuff on bread. French toast is not bad. Outdoor seating available for puppies. No toilet and bus stop outside can be a bit noisy. Good hidden gem for locals but nothing special.
