Been to this place even before when they renovated the whole place. Great hot beverages especially the Belgian Hot chocolate.
Went here on a monday afternoon for some desserts and I must say we had better experience.
Food
We had the strawberry waffles, iced chocolate, lemon meringue and belgian milk hot chocolate. If we talk about the food, this place has potential as their food is actually delicious! It’s not something you can say “a supermarket ingredients quality”. Love love the servings, presentation and the taste. I higly recommend their hot choc drinks!!
Atmosphere and Service
Some staff were nice but the waitress was unconvincing and boring. We actually politely asked for service water to pair with the sweet treats and drinks. We finished the food and the table water was not served. Quite disappointing as we turned a blind eye already when they slam the drinks on the table as the waitress was rushing. Comparing from my last visits, this one was worse. Quite sad as the food really hit the spot but the experience can’t be perfect if the staff weren’t nice and welcoming at all. This may be an unpopular opinion but we have to be honest.

My friends and I went there for dessert on fri night. The ice cream was ok but the cakes on the counter looked quite standard same as everything else on the menu. Hence I gave 4 stars. If they have a signature dish it will definitely be a place where I want to come back for. Having said that the place was packed. Not sure if it’s because there are not many dessert places in the area.
We came here for dessert on a Sunday night so there weren’t too many people. As a consequence the food came out fairly quickly.
We got the strawberry waffle, the salted caramel waffle and the rocky road waffle.
The waffles were fairly small but the toppings and fruit were fairly generous.
The rocky road waffle was too sweet as expected, so it was our least favourite one.
I’ll definitely come back.
Very chocolatey. Love it!! Also have savoury items available. Kinda like chocolate tree or St. Louis xx would really recommend this place when u want a cute little place that is not overall busy x
I’ve come here a few times and each time I’ve just had the breakfast options. There is plenty to use for and I have always quite enjoyed my meal. Pricing isn’t too bad and overall taste of food is good but at times inconsistent. I found the staff friendly however on a couple of occasions I’ve asked for something or made a change to my order and it’s been ignored or forgotten which is a shame. I really enjoy the big breakfast or the banana and bacon waffle. Portion size is great with the big breakfast and I’m never able to finish it.
I love the coffee there! Lunch and other foods are only served until 3pm and desserts are available all day. The lunch menu is pretty limited but they have an extensive dessert menu and bits and pieces they have in their fridge (cake etc).
I've been popping in to grab take away hot drinks for the past year. The waitress's are always pretty snobby though, rarely see a smile on their face and eye contact is limited when making an order...
I organised a farewell morning tea here yesterday. I've been there before for a beverage and cake. I didn't know they did other meals???
I ordered Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon........OMG it was delicious I savored every mouthful!!!! The girls also catered for 9 other people whos orders ranged from wraps, fritters, pancakes, sweet potato chips and a special salad.
All the food came out together and everyone was very happy with meals. Well done girls.
My only complaint ....pot of English Breakfast tea ......too weak and takes too long to brew. I like strong tea and I had to pour leaves into pot and stir for ages to get a colour.
I have been here a few times and have never been disappointed. Nice atmosphere and perfect for a sweet treat with the girls or date night! Great to see a fabulous dessert bar in the North!
A cute little dessert place in mawson lakes... desserts are nice and lots to pick from..!! Coffees are unfortunately very sour! Good atmosphere though and staff are friendly. Would love it if they had a few healthy options like raw vegan cakes!
service is pretty average, waffles are amazing and the presentation on everything is incredible. place is very clean, and good selection of spaces to sit. coffees are abit too hot, ( for me ) but delightful taste :) so cute and cosy with the fireplace going. would recommend for cute catch ups with girls :)
