Review Magic Mountain Saloon - Melbourne

Serge Charles
Pretty good eating here, we ordered some entrees, popcorn chicken which wasn't just dry crumb chicken pieces (about 15 pieces per serve, just incase you need to know, because the waitress didn't), but lightly crumb tender chicken pieces in a beautifully flavoured sauce in addition to crispy baked potatoes, which was also great. In addition to all of that we also had a number of mains my favourite was the lamb curry with a side of roti bread. Sorry forgot to take pictures of the mains, I was hungry so the phone didn't get to eat first šŸ˜‰

Came here for dinner due to nice reviews they had and the place certainly didn't disappoint us. We ordered the feed me menu and there were plenty of foods on the table! We almost couldn't finish them all. There were fusion peking duck dish, popcorn chicken, pad thai, masaman curry, kale salad, grilled chicken and few others. We really liked the popcorn chicken as it was juicy and crispy too. The lime leaves used made it feel refreshing. It's a highly recommended place for dinner if you like Thai fusion style foods. If you like to take food photos, don't forget to ask you friend to use the phone's torch light for lighting. The place's lights make every photo turns red otherwise.

We had the most incredible night at Magic Mountain on Saturday night. We are already planning to go back ASAP. The food was amazing, delicious and plentiful. The service was brilliant. A huge shout out to Liz who looked after us with incredible good advice, attention and good humour. We went as a group celebrating a much delayed big birthday and the night was made very special by Magic Mountain. The vibe is really fun and the layout inside is very appealing. I was completely full but couldn't stop myself eating more because everything was so tasty. The cocktails and drinks are divine.

The venue itself is 3 levels high, first floor was empty and not used on the Friday night, the second level was small and snugly fit 4 tables that sat 2 people each. A dj was also in the corner of the same level. This is where we sat. There was an upper level which I was unable to view, there seemed to be nicer layout and seating. The food itself was okay, not spectacular. The curried crab literally just tasted like spicy celery, we had to mix it with another red curry dish to make it more tolerable. Definitely did not enjoy this Thai and Aussie fusion. I enjoyed the cocktails better. If youā€™re craving Thai I suggest going to an authentic Thai restaurant for a more flavourful experience.

Overall a pretty average experience and probably won't be returning. Pros - ambience, sizeable portions and most friendly staff. Cons - tables and cutlery were sticky. No toothpicks or chopsticks available! No booths available if you're 2 people, even if you book ages in advance and tell them it's a special occasion you get stuck on a tiny table with the most uncomfortable chairs ever - weird deep back support (so none) and I kept slipping off the chair.. wearing jeans. The booths weren't available for us yet they were empty for most of our stay there so that was really disappointing.. Food - popcorn chicken and pad thai were average, good portions but pretty standard quality. Soft shell crab salad was the standout. Sticky beef ribs was full of fat and rather chewy in most parts.

Nestled in Little Collins Street, the entrance to Magic Mountain Saloon beckons. It is reminiscent of how I imagine Emma (the lead character) felt when she thought she had discovered a secret club in my favourite Sophie Kinsella novel. One is unprepared for the sultry red lighting (which also does wonders if oneā€™s red lipstick has gone awry!), the vibrant music emanating from the DJ station and the overall cool factor of the place. The food did not disappoint either. I must recommend highly the starters. Some dishes do deliver a decent level of ā€œspiceā€ though, be forewarned, if one uses this term to refer to how much chili it packs, but it doesnā€™t detract from the the overall abundance of flavours. My favourite was the cured kingfish in betel leaf. The gravy of the green chicken curry was finger-licking good! I must admit I enjoyed every item we ordered. To finish off, I had the coconut ice cream, which was a pleasant way to end this sensational meal. The wait staff was attentive and very helpful in guiding us through the menu. As we stepped back into the laneway, it was with a full stomach and a contented heart.

Amazing food n drinks! Only criticism the dessert was small to share for 3 people but other than that the fooooood was amazing! Esp the chefs menu!

Great food, great service, great experience all round. Might have just been the dishes that I ordered but I found all the dishes were quite heavy and that's what I prefer. We ordered the DIY Baos, Drunken Noodles, Curried Soft Shell Crab, Sticky Beef Ribs and Smashed Potatoes. All the dishes are quite heavy and pack a lot of flavour. Different combinations of sweet, sour, salty and spicy that create amazingly tasty dishes. Enjoyed the DIY Baos even though the pork was slightly dry but the sauces and salad included make up for it. Really enjoyed the soft shell crab (I recommend getting the Roti on the side as well). The crab was crispy but tender and what was really impressive is how it's mixed entirely into the curry. The Sticky Beef Ribs was an interesting dish due to the presentation and the textures. The crispy deep fried base topped with beef ribs and chilli was a nice combination of soft, crispy yet sweet. The dish that I highly recommend and was my favourite is the Drunken Noodles. Every mouthful is just so flavourful and the spice level is adds to the tastiness - be warned it is very spicy. I had to take breaks in between mouthfuls but if you can handle it definitely give it a go! The restaurant itself has a very social yet relaxed vibe. Service was outstanding and overall would recommend to everyone.

Overall rating: 5<br/><br/>From the time you enter the door until the time you walk out, you'll be wishing every store could treat you this friendly. Staff are always making sure you have everything you need and will always assist you in a fun manner. <br/><br/>The restaurant and bar had a exotic themed decor yet kept a sophisticated look. Each table is closed off from the crowd, allowing you to enjoy your food in peace, drink and chat the night away. <br/><br/>We ordered the Lychee Martini and Cuban Creaming Soda mocktails which was so refreshing with a hint of sweetness, which I loved. <br/><br/>The small entrees were the highlight of my night that kickstarted my delightful experience. <br/>The Pulled Sticky Beef Rib, daikon and garlic chive croquettes was out of this world. It was sweet yet flavourful from the beef, which was crispy on the outside and steaming hot and juicy in the inside. <br/>Betel leaves are my favourite finger food at casual dining restaurants because they are always so little yet burst with flavour. It had a heavenly coconut & palm sugar sauce and lemongrass that proved it was worthy through one bite. <br/><br/>Pad Thai had the perfect amount of savoury, sweetness and sourness. Wished it had some sort of protein in the noodle dish. <br/><br/>The braised lamb shoulder in the Red Curry Eggplant was so soft and fatty. Its fat is mixed in the aromatic perfectly seasoned and spiced curry which went so well with the Roti and Jasmine rice we got. <br/><br/>Papaya salad was very refreshing to eat alongside the heavy meaty and hearty foods. Only downside would be the beans were hard and slightly undercooked. <br/><br/>Jasmine rice was a bit hard for my liking. My biggest request would be to put some COCONUT RICE onto the menu to go with their amazing curries. <br/><br/>A fusion restaurant that is always giving their best through their food and customers. <br/><br/>Food: 4.5<br/>Value: 4<br/>Ambience: 5<br/>Service: 5

We got lucky with a table without a booking on a Thursday night. We ordered beef ribs, a duck salad and a roti to share. Although the plates didnā€™t seem that big, the dishes were very filling. The beef ribs were packed with flavour and the meat was tender. The salad was refreshing and balanced out the beef well. The roti had a chicken filling which was a interesting idea.<br/>The service was really friendly and efficient, topping up our water regularly and making quick comments about our order. The food came out surprisingly quickly for how busy they were.<br/>The restaurant was quite dark and loud, giving it a bar-like ambiance. However, having a high-top table to just the two of us still made it a great date night.

My Rating: 3.5<br/><br/>I've been to Magic Mountain Saloon a few times for after work drinks and always found the atmosphere to be fun with a great vibe, however I find the music to be way too loud especially when dining in, it was difficult to have a proper conversation.<br/><br/>šŸ”†LOCATIONšŸ”†<br/><br/>Magic Mountain Saloon is situated on Little Collins Street near the corner of Exhibition Street. The building is not very noticeable with an unassuming entrance, however as you walk in the interior is very nice and colourful with neon lights. There's three levels, with the top level having the most number of seatings for dining in.<br/><br/>šŸ”†SERVICEšŸ”†<br/><br/>Staff here are quite young and seem to love to socialise with each other. It was hard to get service as they kept hanging around the bar area talking. <br/><br/>šŸ”†MENU/PRICEšŸ”†<br/><br/>It was my friend's birthday and she paid for the meal and we let her order what she liked. So I cannot comment on the cost of each item ordered as I arrived quite late and the food was just being served when I sat down. However, I did notice the portion serving for the food was quite small.<br/><br/>šŸ”†VERDICTšŸ”†<br/><br/>I actually werent able to eat any of the items because everything had chilli in it. It seem like when I spoke with the waitress alot of the food items had been cooked or marinated with spicy marinade and there were very limited items on the menu that I could actually order.

Not sure why this place is rated so high. Best thing about it was the staff, who were lovely. The food however was so average. Not worth the price. Group of 3 ordered the curry arancini balls, 2 servings of the chive dumplings, papaya salad and the snapper sandwich dish. Everything was just so bland. Dumpling wrapper was a weird gummy texture and filling was not flavoursome at all. The fish was dry and extremely overcooked. The papaya salad was meh. Arancini balls were a pleasant surprise but not enough to rate higher. Sorry guys.

Extensive menu with a modern Thai fusion slant. Out of a huge range of dishes the only real standout for me was the tofu red curry with eggplant (but the meat eaters in my group seemed happy)I love a good roti but this version was way to crispy for me. Funky space with DJ.

Located on Lt Collins near the corner of Exhibition st, this restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of seating over a few floors. Serving Thai/Australian fusion food, we ordered the pork platter and dumplings. One of the best dishes I've had, and the only downside is that I wanted more! Will definitely come back again.
JB
Hardly busy lunch time, bad staff attitude simply because itā€™s a popular place; Will never return again.
AaronN
Whilst service was a bit patchy (although this was partly due to them being quite busy), the food here was quite nice, albeit pricey.
Lisa
Booked last minute but the place seems very organised and on board with the booking. Got a seat straight away. We ordered some beef croquettes, tofu betel leaf, lamb curry with roti, papaya salad and the pad thai. Everything here was beyond expectation and this place is underrated!! Loved everything here and so did my parents who are quite picky eaters haha. Staff were lovely and friendly.

We had the bottomless brunch on a Saturday. Booked for 12:45pm and was told that bottomless brunch started from 12:30. However the waiter was kind enough to let us have it anyway and only started timing after we received our first drink. The service was kind of slow when we ordered for refills. The menu offered with four courses in relatively small portion sizes, but all very delicoius. Taking one star off because the toilets are on the very top level - it is difficult to climb four flights of stairs after having 5 glasses of wine.

Second time here and better than I remembered! Very friendly and helpful staff, the food portion was actually quite big, we ordered two main dishes: curry braised pork belly and beef mince with basil, couldnā€™t even finish them, and they were super tasty (be careful with the fresh green chili tho, they are quite hot lol), very good value for the money for food and venue like this, overall really good experience. (A bit hard to take pics of the food because of the lighting haha)

Love love love the vibe here, prefect for friends gathering! A great intensive drink and food menu to choose from, we love everything we ordered!<br/><br/>Service was super friendly and food serving was fast given that it was a full house busy Friday night! Will definitely be back for more.

It was a really good place with a nice ambiance too.<br/>We had chicken popcorn *my second favourite*, papaya salad *the mvp of the night*, prok belly, roti, beef noodle, and beef ribs. Overall is actually so delicious and good. With a good portion as well. But the beef ribs is the least that i like amongs them, itā€™s a bit dry, but they give like a huge protion for the ribs. You still have to try this place šŸ˜ŠšŸ˜Š

We enjoyed the most fabulous boozy breakfast, including new cocktails (shout out for the Lady Jane, the rhubarb/apple one and the off-menu not-quite-espresso-martinis made on special request) and refreshingly different breakfast menu. By far it was the staff who made our morning though - the waiter who gracefully lets you in the side door because his colleague with the keys hasn't quite adjusted to daylight savings, and yet doesn't bat an eyelid is a credit to his team. Fabulous.

Ambience: 7/10<br/>Service: 8:10 <br/>Taste: 8/10 <br/>Value: 6/10<br/><br/>Would recommend the soft shell crab and lamb shank curry. The popcorn chicken was good but not worth the price. Overall an excellent choice for a meal but prepare to order more than you expect!

Nice brunch menu on the weekend. Modern Asian flavours in traditional breakfast items.<br/><br/>Pork and mushroom on french toast, $21.50, lovely flavours.

Had my birthday dinner here, both the food and the service was amazing!<br/>The favourite dish of the night was the steak, but nothing on that menu disappointed.<br/>Shoutout to Liz, who served us impeccably! Liz was so fun and friendly, knew exactly when to move the course along and her menu selections were in point. It was her service that made the night.

Yo dawg. This place was the bomb, dawg. It really was good, dawg. Scotch fillet with spicy spice was perfecto, dawg. And dawg, I liked the cashew, kale and something else salad. Sorry I canā€™t remember all the details but I had a few dinky drinkies, dawg. Also the logo is a bit hard to find but itā€™s well worth it dawg.
Dumba
Quirky multi level restaurant in the CBD. Food is great, and has a good amount of spice. Service could be less in-your-face but at least is friendly. A bit too dark when they dim the lights. Music is too loud to sit and talk.

Firstly I love that you can make a reservation at MM! No stressing about your partner grumbling that itā€™s taking ages and eventually finding yourself in china town...<br/>Iā€™ve been here a few times and the food is delicious! Would say on par to that of chin chins and cookie. Didnā€™t love the pork ribs however thatā€™s literally the only dish Iā€™ve had that I didnā€™t love and Iā€™ve tried many. Croquets and the noddles with the pork mince( canā€™t remember the name) for the win! Cocktails here are also delicious

Second time back to magic mountain and it never disappoints. Service was amazing as always, they are always very friendly, happy and always joking around. Ordered the chicken rendang roti, sweet onion roti, lamb curry, tapioca dumplings, drunken noodles, curry soft shell crab and banana roti for dessert. The tapioca dumplings and curry soft shell crab was just OK for us but the rest was amazing - super delicious. Another plus is that the food comes out very quick!

Caught up with some girlfriends after work for dinner and drinks. The restaurants ambience is buzzing but at a volume that you donā€™t need to shout at those on your table. The booth seating is great for catching the energy of the restaurant whilst still proving a bit of privacy to properly engage in conversation. <br/><br/>Menu options are vast with a selection of meats, vegetarian dishes and sides. Dishes are designed to share, which we happily did amongst the 6 of us. Reasonably priced drinks and food. <br/><br/>The lamb curry was definitely the favourite amongst all of us.

Very very noisy and crowded. There were lots of people who came here for drinks only (like myself) and they had to squash around the bar because there were no seats anywhere. Whenever we thought we had finally found a table to sit down at, we would get kicked off because it was apparently reserved for diners. Felt very bad for the waiters who had to keep shooing off people and re-set the tables. Would be much better if they had separate dining and bar areas. The atmosphere is too loud, dark and unpleasant for diners as well so don't think I'll be back for food or for drinks only, seeing as how there are much better options nearby.

Cool venue. The curried soft shell crab was outstanding. Unfortunately the stuffed calamari was bland and overcooked. Pork ribs were very good. Our waiter was good but they were understaffed and service was slow. I wonā€™t be racing back.

I went there a few years ago and had a fond memory. Revisited last weekend and it did not disappoint! Get in on Friday or Saturday nights without booking is impossible! So we were glad that it wasnā€™t busy when we needed a late lunch on Saturday. The food were so packed of favour with there right balance of all tastes and spices. The best Thai restaurant in Melbourne!!

First time to this place and I love the atmosphere here. The food may be a bit pricey but it tastes amazing! Definitely worth it coming here. My friend and I ordered soft shell crab milk bun x 2, papaya salad, fried chicken ribs with sweet chilli sauce and a specialty made cocktail šŸ¹. We were in a hurry as we had a concert to go but would definitely come back to try the desserts as well.

Came here for a team lunch and we all really enjoyed the food - customer service was also excellent! The batter for the Fried Calamari was fluffy and crunchy and the salted duck egg & pickled mayo complimented very well with the calamari. I found the Kale & Crispy Pork Belly to be a little sweet - it's better eaten with rice to balance out the flavours. Presentation for the Green Prawns was on point, though I would have liked it with a bit more seasoning. The Lamb in the Red Curry was a bit plain, but the curry itself was very well seasoned. Presentation for the BBQ Chicken Wings could be a little better, but the Tamarind sauce makes up for it. Peking Duck with flat rice noodles and Turmeric & Coriander Chicken sticks were delicious! Definitely ordering these two dishes again! Will be coming back for Round 2!

Can be a bit noisy sometimes for conversation, but otherwise pretty nice atmosphere. The food is amazing and can be very spicy but probably worth the tears šŸŒ¶šŸ˜‹šŸ˜. The rice pancakes with lotus roots and mushrooms were my favourite dish - kind of like a vegetarian version of Peking duck but yummier and of course spicier.
Bobby
Excellent.<br/><br/>Great drinks and cocktails.Ā  Good vibe and great place to chill with friends.Ā  Very accommodating menu, with many vegan items.Ā  I had some lotus root and tapioca dumplings - they were amazing.Ā  Also had a silken tofu, zucchini and mushroom stir fry.Ā  Delicious.<br/><br/>Knowledgeable and attentive staff.Ā  I'll be back.

We made a booking at 8:30pm and didnā€™t get seated until just before 9. We then waited about 40mins for entree. We assumed mains would come out not long afterwards. 1 hour later the mains arrived, only for them to tell us one of the waiters accidentally gave one of our dishes to the wrong table. The food was great, but the service was terrible. Wouldnā€™t come back.

Love their food. So flavoursome and so fresh! Perfect with a cold beer. We come here after work a lot and even try to have brunch here once. I remember I had a fried rice as my brunch, was so tasty. Too sad their brunch items won't run all day.<br/><br/>
YumYum
First time at MMS. Service was great straightaway with immediately acknowledgement with a smile. We were given a booth upstairs and at the time we arrived it was fairly a quiet and quaint atmosphere where you could easily talk and hear each other. It quickly turned busy the red glow at night changed the vibes- still nice. <br/><br/>Service was again great with immediate water served and attentive to the needs of our group. Thank you.<br/><br/>Food- we had the pad Thai, the mozzarella balls , lotus root dumpling , chives dumpling , the roti and veggie curry. The lotus root dumpling is sweet with earthy tones if you want to try. It was quite nice. Flavours were good and so were the portions. <br/><br/>Drinks- it has a great menu, although we all opted for non alcoholic I was surprised with the options as well- I had the lychee martini which was to die for!<br/><br/>The smoker of the group was happy to find a balcony outside. Please note that there are several stairs to go up which is fine for most however one of our friends was recovering from surgery so that was a bit hard.<br/><br/>Overall a great first experience. We shall be back!

I am passing on this review as I find it not only rude but hygiene must be addressed.<br/><br/>I had a waitress serve me who was polite and friendly.<br/>However during her downtime, she decided to roll tally ho cigarettes with her co worker who was on break.<br/><br/>This was done at the bar in front of other diners.<br/><br/>Not only is it a disgusting habit to smoke, but to serve me food and drinks without washing your hands?<br/><br/>
Junnay
Hard to find this great place, but once you do, itā€™s fantastic! Just look for the double MMs & make sure you book as it gets busy. Staff were all wonderful, cheerful & eager to please. Service was speedy, as weā€™d requested & the food was excellent. We will be back!
Foodie By Heart šŸ’“
Magic Mountain had a really nice vibe to it, cocktails were delicious however rather pricey. Our waiter was fantastic, extremely helpful and nice. Unfortunately one of our meals was completely forgotten, and as it was a main it came out after everyone elseā€™s. I had the pork platter, which was delicious, however for the price that I was paying I expected a lot more. Overall a real cool place, however I wonā€™t be rushing back any time soon.

What everyone says about those rotis is true - so good! The food in general is delicious and the atmosphere is fun. A good place if you're in a group, probably not ideal for couples but it's a bit quieter during the lunch service.

Yummiest food + quick service great vibes, friendly staff, drinks are good. Have came back so many times and will be a regular again šŸ˜ƒ good for intimate or group settings
Amara
I truly LOVE this place! it's very neatly hidden away on Little Collins st with nothing but an illuminated mountain sign to give it away. The inside is dim and intimate with two levels to choose from. The bar staff are attentive, funny, and just plain friendly; plus the service is quite quick which is always a plus when you're in need of food. I also suggest you book in advance as it does attract a lot of people.<br/><br/>Now for the food. We started with the Lotus Root & Tapioca Dumplings ($16) and I seriously could have eaten these all night! They were fresh and crisp, but the peanuts added some depth to them. These were delish! We also ordered the Rice Pancake Betel Bliss Bomb ($19.5) which is like a build-your-own rice roll station. The fillings all work really well together and the wrappers are super delicate and clean tasting. I enjoyed the green chilli and mint sauce that came with it; and this also balanced out the fried mushrooms and lotus root.<br/><br/>From the wok, we ordered the Steamed Ocean Trout dish ($32.5) and the Silken Tofu ($23). The trout was cooked to perfection! It was supple yet flaked away easily; plus it worked really nicely with the greens and ginger. I also adored the silken tofu dish too (and probably more than the trout). It's a colder dish so making it feel lighter and more refreshing. The vegetables were cooked well and the silken tofu had taken on the flavours that were infused throughout it all.<br/><br/>We also got the Sweet Onion Roti ($6.5) as I had heard that their roti is amazing; and it was! really flaky yet almost soft and chewy at the same time. The onion flavour wasn't too intense which was nice. Overall it was just a nice carb-y side to have.<br/><br/>I highly recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely be back in the near future!

I came here for a work lunch and Everything was delicious and presented well. Special mention to the papaya and avocado salad which I forgot to take a picture - that was too delicious and a wonderful combo. The Pad thai was wonderful as well. My only comment is that the dishes tended to be overly sweet and not spicy enough (I understand that Thai is generally sweet and flavourful - but this place is more than average Thai restaurants).

Magic Mountain Saloon is literally a few min walk from my workplace and Iā€™ve always wondered what it was.. until a colleague told me its a beautiful restaurantĀ spanning three levels, serving Asian fusion cuisineā€¦ SOLD!. Menu wise, good selection of small to large dishes. Variety of drinks on taps and cocktail/mock-tail menu also. As you can see I got the Virgin Lychee Martini. Nice but not worth the 30min I had to wait for itā€¦ =(<br/> <br/><br/>Crunchy Fried Chicken Ribs & Sweet Chilli Sauce - nice crunchy moist chicken. Great as starters, good to share between 3 people as we got about 3 each.<br/><br/>Chicken Green Curry, Corn, Yard Beans & Basil - expect spicy curry! Which definitely gave it a good kick as a curry should be however its slightly missed the mark for me in terms of the aromatic flavors that you get from a good green curry..<br/><br/>Roti Bread - generous serving considering half the time you have to order two servings of roti. God but slightly dry. Dipped mine in the curry but I think i would have preferred to dip it in a nice peanut sauce. Asked for rice for three but the serving we got barely served 2 so we had to get another bowl....
Buy All The Fries!
Overall the food was nice and service was great. We selected some options which we thought would cater for our vegetarians friends but actually contained either prawn paste or oyster sauce which the waiter informed us of - there's not a big range of vegetarian options. Atmosphere was lively - fairly loud music and pretty dim lighting. The lighting dimmed twice between 6:30-8:30pm! Would go back to try other things on the menu or even just to have the mushroom and laughing cow roti again!

I was invited to dine here last night, by my partner. We passed this place recently and we were fortunate enough to be offered a small table without a booking. <br/><br/>The service was very good, quick and polite. <br/><br/>To start with we ordered 4 dishes, being stuffed roti bread w chicken randang, drunken noodles, pork cheeks and popcorn chicken. <br/><br/>The dishes came out 2 at a time and it was a tale of two different meals. Initially the drunken noodles were superb, 5/5. Finally a place that doesnā€™t hold back on spice... yay!! And those dried chillies were hot! Hahaha Yummo<br/><br/>The popcorn chicken was great but they were soaked in a sauce in the same bowl and the more you ate, the sweeter the popcorn chicken was until it was like eating sugar. Phew ...<br/><br/>The stuffed roti bread was just ok, nothing special and there wasnā€™t much Chicken Randang filling at all. Disappointing really. <br/><br/>Finally the pork cheeks. This is the first time that Iā€™ve eaten pork cheeks and I had hoped they might be slowed cooked. Unfortunately not. They were chewy, rubbery and not good. <br/><br/>We had a spritzer cocktail each which appeared to be a signature cocktail. <br/><br/>Apologies in advance as the photos are all red, as the lighting was dimly lit and almost all the lights were red.

Highlights - Pad Thai: best Iā€™ve ever had. I am literally still thinking about it days later and want to come back just for it! The flavor was sweet, tangy, spicy. Everything youā€™d want. Also the venue is romantic and the marble bar on the top level is gorgeous. Make sure to head up on a fri/sat to catch its peak. <br/><br/>Food - <br/>Pork in dry red curry was strong in flavor, very smoky and pronounced. Definitely pair this with a noodle or rice dish. Quite enjoyable. <br/><br/>Croquettes were good! Only thing Iā€™d like is for maybe some sort of dipping sauce for these on the side because they can come off a dry as croquettes can be especially w/ the pulled beef on top. <br/><br/>Stuffed roti chicken rendang, unique and surprisingly well balanced.<br/><br/>Update - Take my 5 stars and keep it! I came back with a couple of friends and the dishes we ordered were Pad Thai - Still amazing like the first time. The Betel leaves w Tofu, broccoli, lemon grass and palm sugar sauce was so flavour packed. Definitely a favorite. Their snapper and prawn curry was soooo good. One of the best curries Iā€™ve ever had. Holy hell, that took it to another level for me. <br/><br/>Only disappointment was the green prawns, kingfish and bitter melon salad. It was super fishy in an unpleasant way. <br/><br/>Either way the other dishes blew my socks off. Well done
Lucy Mills
Consistently excellent food and service, their staff are always a such pleasure to deal with! Iā€™ve never had a bad experience here. The Kingfish is a stand out!
Quince And Cheese
I wanted to try Magic Mountain for breakfast so bad, but alas I arrived after the cutoff. Nevertheless, lunch still really impressed me. I got the lotus root tapioca dumplings, which were the best of the bunch. The chewy tapioca consistency coupled with fresh, crunchy veggies was my ideal type of meal. I also got roti and the pumpkin and peanut salad- a bit expensive for the serving size, but delicately composed and deliciously prepared. Of course, there are cheaper Thai options out there, but if you're looking for a slightly upscale option, Magic Mountain should be a top pick.
Gin Tan
We ordered the calamari and fried chicken. They were alright, wasn't impressed. But when the main dishes came, it totally changed my thought. The drunken noodles was delicious and salmon with the betel leaves had right amount of flavors and textures. We finished up with banana roti and thai milk yeah crepes, didn't disappoint me either!

I loved my experience here. <br/>From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, it was a brilliant night.<br/>The maitrĆØ d was brilliantly friendly and quirky. <br/>Our waiter was just as friendly. <br/>The food was so delish as was the wine. <br/>The setting was super fun with funky tunes. <br/>It is a little pricey so be prepared to fork out some moolah! <br/>Good job team šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ‘ŒšŸ»
Food For Thought
I must admit I wasn't sure about the red light within the restaurant but I enjoyed the modern funky ambience and music once I got in. The food was really flavoursome (even with my asian tastebuds), fresh and portion size was generous. I especially loved the pop corn chicken, betel leaf cocktail and stuffed chicken rendang roti!! Ā The mocktails were really awesome too and my girlfriends and I all had a really magical time at this restaurant!
Two Sheds
Solid 4. Great place for a post lunch drink as we did this afternoon. Very relaxing place in mid afternoon nestling a rich Heathcote Shiraz. Nice look and feel here and thereā€™s a distinct sense of wonderment as you traverse the various floors to ultimately reach the bathrooms. There really are a few magical spots in this place. Staff were good here as well. Nice place. We loved it.

Came for my third visit today. Excellent as usual.<br/>We usually had the banquet with a table of eight but today , I brought my wife for a lunch here. Taste of the Pad Thai and the pork based variety entree was superb (matches Thailand) with a good blend of Burmese and Chinese influences. This place , has authentic Asian chefs in the kitchen. Absolute 10/10 for service , ambiance and food!!

Someone told me this place was better than Red Spice Road and I love that place so I was looking forward to coming here. My expectations were not meet. It was nice but nothing special. There were some good flavours but it didn't hit the amazing mark. Our pork belly was not well cooked, which was a shame (however, the kale in that dish was just right)

This place is probably better known for their dinner, but I came in on a weekday for breakfast. The restaurant is like a bar with dark lighting, so doesn't feel like a breakfast place. The place was empty when we arrive..first customers!! We ordered the baked eggs with pork sausage..+ fairy bread, and a fried mushroom toasty. The dishes were tasty and a generous portion size. The cappuccinos were good too. The cost of the meal was steeper than other breakfast places..probably because the baked eggs dish was a tad expensive. But otherwise an enjoyable breakfast with good friendly service. I won't mind returning for lunch or dinner next time.

Had a really yummy lunch and drinks. The waitressā€™s were all very helpful and attentive. We started with the curried rice balls which were nice but I didnā€™t think outstanding. Next we had the bliss (?) pancakes, these were incredible! The accompanying chili sauce was amazing. Next we had the roti bread stuffed with mushroom, cheese and tomato. Also yum. We finished off with the delicious Thai crepe tea cake, something I would totally recommend. We canā€™t wait to return and try all the other things on the menu that sound wonderful.

Ambience: 4/5 <br/>Food: 4.5/5 <br/>Staff: 3.5/5 <br/>Will I return: Yes <br/><br/>Visited on a cold Friday night with my<br/>Partner. Upon arriving, the staff didnā€™t really even acknowledge us. Throughout the whole night, despite being prompt with their service, we did not get so much as a smile or any friendly vibes from any of the waiter/waitresses serving us. <br/><br/>The restaurant is broken up into a few floors with a special section for a live DJ which was pretty cool. Bear in mind, the music is pretty loud so you have to really speak up or shout over the table sometimes to hear each other talk. <br/><br/>We ordered some fried mozzarella rice balls which were amazing. The skin was crispy and not overly oily. The highlight for me was the sauce that accompanied the rice balls. <br/>The favourite dish of the night would be the drunken noodles. They were generous with their serving and not many restaurants will you see more meat given than noodles. I will definitely return just to have the noodles again. <br/>We didnā€™t manage to get to try any dishes from the grilled section so we definitely want to come back to try a few other dishes.

Possibly one of the best dining experience I've had so far.Ā The food was beyond amazing, the service was top notch (we had two lovely gentlemen attending our table and they were hilarious!), the wine & cocktail were also delish.Ā <br/>If I could give more than 5 stars, I definitely would.<br/><br/>I'm glad we asked one of our waiter for his recommendation because the soft shell was probably the highlight of my meal. I don't usually order soft shell crab but I'm glad I did.<br/>The eye fillet with cured pork belly was also a winner - it was juicy and tender and everything you'd ever want in a steak.<br/><br/>I'm already planning on my next visit! See you again soon :)

Ambience is nice and stafffs are friendly. Pork belly and kale is a must try, sooo flavorsome. Kale is really a nice surprise. Would recommend mussel . The mussel soup itself is wonderful and you won't regret order some roti to dip in. Overall, food is nice but price might be a bit expensive.

Love, love, love this place. Weā€™re repeat visitors because itā€™s always a great experience. Last night weā€™d booked a table for 7pm but were running very late and were supposed to vacate our table by 9pm. The maitre d went out of his way to secure another table for the next booking so we could stay at our table past 9pm, which was so lovely. <br/>We had the beef roti, chicken popcorn, chili dumplings and Rice Pancake Betel Bliss Bomb. All were amazing as always. <br/>Magic also hands down do one of the best Aperol Spritz in Melbourne. <br/>Canā€™t beat this place for great food, drinks, service and ambiance.

Found this place on zomato, and went there for supper, and boy! The food were amazingly delicious!!<br/>We ordered rice pancake bliss bomb, the mushroom flavour burst on our mouth, we especially love the green chilli and mint cream where the sweet potato and tofu cream tasted a bit uncooked. <br/>Magicā€™s pork platter was divine, lots of bits and pieces to choose to eat with the al-dente sticky rice.<br/>Steamed mussel with tom kar broth was good as well, i wish we had a steamed rice to eat with that delicious broth.<br/>Peppered snapper, glass noodle with kale surprisingly reminded us of those chinese food dishes that usually cooked with crabs, very hearty and yummy, make u wanna eat more and more.. <br/>chicken ribs with sweet chilli was good and indeed crunchy, its not too salty and just a perfect match with the dipping.<br/>The cocktails that we ordered inc some that was not in the photos were just ordinary, nothing special. <br/>Service by the guy with moustache (forgot to ask his name) was superb, he was funny and cheerful, recommended us such lovely dishes and the top reason why we will definitely come back to this place. <br/>Upstairs 2nd and 3rd floor seating is better than ground floor (i knew coz the toilet is on the 3rd floor) but the wonderful waiter was in charge on ground :D<br/>Just mind u that this place is a bit hard to find as they dont have sign of the name outside, just find for MM sign (magic mountain).<br/>Highly recommended and we definitely will be back! <br/><br/>

It takes a special kind of privilege to term a breakfast that consists of rice or noodles ā€œweirdā€ when nearly half the world would eat breakfasts that comprise exactly this ā€“ though this is often the reaction I get when I tell people what I grew up eating for breakfast. Although cereal and eggs on toast are popular the world over, so is a bowl of rice, soup and 2Āā€“6 side dishes if youā€™re in Korea, idli and dosa if youā€™re in southern India, nasi lemak and roti canai if youā€™re in Malaysia, dim sum if youā€™re in southern China and Hong Kong, xiaomian if youā€™re in northern China, and steamed rice with miso soup and a side of grilled fish if youā€™re in Japan. I could go on, but you get my point.

The pictures donā€™t do it justice...but this place is amazing!! 10/10!!! The service is great and attentive. But the food omggggg! The kingfish ceviche is incredible - the sauce is out of this world flavours. The steak rolled with pork belly and mushroom...no words!! Amazing!! This is the best modern Thai in Melbourne and now my absolute new fave restaurant. Canā€™t wait to come back.

Stumbled across Magic mountain saloon while on little collins street. Very cozy atmosphere inside, my partner and i were only planning to stay for a drink but decided at the last minute to grab a meal aswell. Great flavours in our pork and chicken dishes, and staff were very friendly and helpful.<br/>Great experience.

We had breakfast here over the weekend and all I can say is... ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!<br/><br/>We were expecting some pretty good food based on the reviews and reputation but were still pleasantly surprised by how amazing some of the dishes were. Fusion menus can sometimes be a bit of a hit and miss - but Magic Mountain is definitely a hit in how itā€™s brought together some seriously authentic Asian flavors (some of the smells reminded us of Thailand!) in a brunch menu. <br/><br/>Everything on the menu was just that little bit different which made us want to try everything & it was a mighty difficult task narrowing it down to a few dishes - all of which we loved:<br/>- Chicken rendang & smoked mozzarella roti. Loved it. Note for those from South East Asia, itā€™s an upscale but very authentic & tasty cross of cheese prata/ murtabak! <br/>- Stick pork sticks & shrimp rice. Recommended by our waitress, and it sounded ok based on the description in the menu but I really wasnā€™t expecting much. It was therefore such a pleasant surprise as OMG, I could not have enjoyed this more!!<br/>- Grilled pork belly with poached eggs. The pork belly was ok, but the standout in this dish was the daikon croquettes. <br/><br/>Overall we loved our brekkie here and Iā€™d go as far as to say youā€™re definitely missing out if you havenā€™t been here!

Such a pleasant surprise! We went for a work lunch and had a banquet and the food was exceptional. Really reasonably priced for heaps of food! Mozzarella stuffed arancini balls with an amazing kafir lime flavour weā€™re a standout, as well as the lamb cigars and chicken with tangerine sauce. Yum! So excited we found this place. Only small downside is that drinks were really expensive, but food is worth it.
Melbourne, Letā€™s Eat
Been here a couple of times already and the standard of food and drinks never disappoints. Never knew pork belly and kale went together so well. Staff are really friendly as well. This place is always busy during the evening so be sure to book beforehand.
Followthefoodmelbourne
We dined here recently for a pre theatre meal and had a wonderful evening. The standout dishes were the curried lamb cigars (four light pastry tubes filled with delicious lamb curry filling) and the jackfruit lettuce cups (a really stunning vegetarian option packed with flavour). We also ordered the trout, pad Thai and onion roti. Overall, an excellent meal in a trendy dimly lit, red hued restaurant.

Want the best sticky beef ribs? Then this is the place to be. The sticky beef ribs was flavoursome and accompanied very well with the duck stir fry rice noodles. Their prawns with cured fish and bitter melon was surprisingly tasty. Never thought that I would take the risk in ordering a dish with bitter melon but it was top notch. A little overdone with the fish sauce because it's taste kept lingering in my mouth. Great service and atmosphere to dine and enjoy a few casual drinks.

Went here mor than on time, for drinks and dinner<br/>Is my favourite Thai restaurant <br/>Staff really friendly <br/>Price super competitive <br/>Generous portions <br/>Atmosphere fancy and great <br/>Really recommend
Chris
Been here for both brekky and for dinner now. Can confirm they do both sensationally. Not super cheap, but the meals aren't small either.<br/>Has a good vibe on Friday nights. Gets packed out, has a bar upstairs, live dj, just a good solid place to eat with a couple of sherberts.
Brunny Girl
Fun restaurant for a date night. Great choice of red wines available. The veg dumpling are so so moreish. Green Papaya salad has just the right level of spice and theĀ  spicy fish is always good. Can be a bit noisy but there are some quiet spots.

Magic Mountain Saloon definitely did not disappoint! <br/>It's such a quirky looking place that you can't help but want to go in. The atmosphere was buzzing and the waiters were super friendly. <br/><br/>We went in a group of six which is perfect because you get to try a bunch of dishes from their extensive (and hard to choose from) menu šŸ„˜šŸ£šŸ±<br/><br/>ALL and I mean ALL of the dishes were amazing.<br/>Flavour āœ”ļø<br/>Flavour āœ”ļø<br/>Flavour āœ”ļø <br/><br/>I would say the must try dishes were the lamb braise curry, zucchini and buffalo mozzarella salad and the pad Thai! But everything else is still great! Oh and definitely get the 'Lara's theme cocktail' if you're more of a sweet tooth šŸ¹ <br/><br/>110% will be back (Couldn't take the best photos with the all red lightening šŸ˜‚).<br/>

Love the decor of this place. Big white walls with big windows. Had a really delicious breakfast here upstairs for a friends birthday. Not your typical brunch fare either, so it was well worth the money and the experience. I loved the sweet roti bread.

Magic Mountain Saloon is my favourite Thai restaurant in Melbourne...The dishes are always jam packed with flavour and generous serving size. I can't help but order the betel leaf salad every time i come here, the smoked trout flavour is so delicious and overall the salad is just perfectly balanced. Their signature Tumeric Roasted Chicken is perfect! Well priced menu in general. Have been here many times now but thought it's about time i write a review. Awesome vibrant vibe during the evenings and the staff are a lot of fun. Also my favourite bar in the city, worth a visit just for the cocktails, always bring my friends here from out of town who are after a great Melbourne experience.

Best night out! My girlfriend made a booking for four of us for dinner - but the cocktails kept us here until the wee hours. Staff were excellent, fun and friendly. A highlight was the wine list - amazing selection - great natural wines and the Crying Tiger Steak. A winner for date nights and boozy dinners with friends.
Amelie Pringle
Awesome! Had such a great night here with friends. Really nice vibe, fun but still relaxed. The food was so tasty - our fave was the Smoked Trout Betel Leaf Salad and the Fat Rice Noodles with Peking Duck. SO yummy. Also amazing cocktails/spritz list. Will definitely be back.

Oh wow, I'm so glad I stumbled across this place - hidden near the multi level car park, there isn't even a sign on the door, so we sort of stumbled in unsure whether it was a bar or a restaurant. The lights are dimmed and the music is loud if you're sitting at the bar, however if you are seated at one of the tables you can easily hold a conversation - I would advise booking a table as it was pretty crowded even late at night, we were just lucky that someone had left shortly after we arrived and we got a table. <br/><br/>The staff are friendly and helpful. There was a young guy who told us it was his first shift that night - he was so lovely and helpful with food choices and checked to make sure the food we ordered was dairy free - really great service from him. <br/><br/>The food - amazing! We had the chilli and lime chicken popcorn, green papaya and peanut salad and scotch fillet with slaw. It was more than enough food for two people, the beef was perfectly cooked and the papaya salad was great - never had it with avocado before, so it was a nice addition. The popcorn chicken reminded me of the KFC popcorn chicken but with a twist, much nicer and with a hit of chilli. And on that note, the slaw that came with the beef was spicy!!! But good, not an unbearable level of spicy, just right. I don't often have hot food so my tolerance is not high, so this is just a heads up for anyone who doesn't like spicy food. Overall I loved the vibe of the place, will definitely be back to try other dishes and also suss out the remainder of the venue upstairs.<br/><br/>They also have a good selection of cocktails! And the staff are happy to recommend some if you're stuck and can't decide. <br/><br/>Oh and apologies for the lack of photos, it was pretty dark in here so I didn't want to blind people with my camera flash.

Magic Mountain Saloon was a bit hard to find as i could not find the sign outside the building in the rain. It was located right next to Wilson parking on 34/60 little Collins street. We had a table upstairs, which was two flights of stairs up. <br/>Food here is great, same Asian fusion concept like Longrain, hawker hall and chin chin. If you like chilli, this is the best place for you. We shared the following vegetarian dishes: chive dumplings & chilli soy, lotus root tapioca dumplings (one of my favorite dishes), rice pancake bliss bomb, green papaya salad, silken tofu (delicious), tofu red curry (it was extremely hot, even though the waitress said it was made mild for us), roti & rice, pumpkin & coconut creme brĆ»lĆ©e (couldnā€™t taste the pumpkin or coconut and the consistency was not smooth) and green tea crepe cake (amazing, highly recommend trying). I suggest not going here when itā€™s dark because it was seriously dark inside after sunset and you cannot see the food. The toilet was dark inside too.<br/><br/>Update: 28/04/18<br/>Came back today for the tofu red curry and found out it was not vegetarian/vegan! It has prawn paste in the curry.. sigh such a disappointment. I had the lotus root tapioca dumplings & silken tofu instead. Service & food was still fantastic as before.
Anna Likes Puddings
Service was excellent, food fell flat and uninteresting. Asked for mild papaya salad, had no flavor and was completely not spicy at all. Will come back for drinks, but there are better places to go for flavorful Thai food in the city for the same price.
The Jaminator
So the mysterious magic mountain saloon has no actual sign on the outside, just a logo on the front door. When you first go, you just had to assume ta the right place and walk in haha. The service staff were really friendly however they took a long time to serve drinks. We ordered 2 mocktails: Lychee Martini and Creaming Soda. They were both delicious but the creaming soda was perfect with the hit of mint. The food on the other hand came out pretty much immediately which was great! We ordered one of the stuffed mushroom rotiā€™s (which came with scissors to eat which we both thought was hilarious), Pad Thai and Peking duck noodles. Pad Thai tasted good but the noodles were all stuck together and is not the best I have had but the other two dishes were delicious! The Peking duck is definitely a must try.

Magic Mountain Saloon is one of my favourite places in Melbourne. Since being introduced to it a few months ago, Iā€™ve been back four times and each time with more people than before. <br/>This place has the right mix of staff, great food, perfect cocktails, great ambiance and a convenient location. <br/>The food is Thai fusion, but in all honesty the feed me menu is a perfect and relatively inexpensive way to taste all of the food! I highly recommend going to Magic Mountain Saloon which I have conveniently renamed in my head to Magic Mushroom Mountain šŸ’•šŸ˜‚šŸøšŸ™ŒšŸ½

Loved the crispy pork belly with kale (though a tad spicy, yeah yeah I'm a fake Asian whatever). The rice balls with mozzarella were also pretty spot on. But most importantly, LOVED THE MOCKTAILS MENU! Had the passion fruit one and a virgin martini of some sort.
Mysy
Definitely some magic going on here! You would assume by walking in, it would just be the one level.. but as you head for the restrooms, you keep discovering more levels and surprises to the place. Ordered betel salad, stuffed beef roti, pad thai and grilled squid. <br/><br/>Highlights would be betel salad and stuff roti. You won't regret ordering the betel salad :) <br/><br/>Unfortunately pad thai was a little dry and squid overcooked (stuff pork and bone marrow was on the dry side too)
Espy Eats
Like Cookie with the spice dialed up Magic Mountain delivers some super tasty fusion food and some pretty amazing cocktails.<br/><br/>We came early and needed to book because Iā€™ve seen queues out the door and the weather was a tad unpredictable for that. Seated upstairs near the bar it was a lovely space with vibrant wall prints and a somewhat vocal fellow diner/drinker<br/><br/>You really should try their For the Bison cocktail with its tasty mint and apple combination. Roughly 1/2 serve of apple in every glass so con contribute to your 5 plus a day. <br/><br/>Food wise we chose a few dishes to share. The steamed muscles were nicely cooked and the broth packed full of flavour. Quite a lot of heat in this broth which I had been warned about<br/><br/>Chicken wings were super giant and the tamarind sauce an essential for sharp flavour. <br/><br/>Perhaps the most fun dish we had was the roti stuffed full of chicken rendang curry. We had to scissor cut this up ourselves and it was a delightful dish.<br/><br/>Staff were friendly and it was a relaxed but noisy environment which I loved and would come back for in the future for certain.

Went in for breakfast and couldn't look past the congee.Ā  It was delicious ! The service was just excellent.Ā  The lovely lady who served us was very friendly and accommodating to our dietary needs.Ā  Ā Our coffees were excellent as well and the waitress was happy to accommodate our order of iced coffees with Bonsoy.Ā  Would definitely go back for breakfast but I also want to go for dinner now too!Ā  Cheers!

Located in Collins St, the place was quite packed on a weekday at 6pm. They've got a long list of cocktails which was exciting - I decided to go for the Peach Bellini and the Tiki drink (can't find the full name of this one!). The Bellini was good although it could use more peach. The 'Tiki' drink looked innocent enough with the pretty flower adorned and the light purplish colour, but it sure was strong. Three sips in and I felt a little woozy. To be fair, I didn't really have a proper lunch!<br/><br/>We got the chicken Scotch Egg which looked amazing with it's just-about-done orange centre and the onion rings piled on top of it. But holy cannoli was it spicy. One mouthful of the thing widened our eyes because it was just super spicy. Be warned non-spicy eaters!Ā <br/><br/>We also got the Beef Ribs and the Braised Pork Belly with the Red Curry Sauce. The seasoning of both were excellent. The meats could be a little more tender for our tastes.

Visited here once with friends. Loved the Red curry with duck. The curry taste very rich and deep in flavors. Duck is tender and juicy. A very nice Asian inspired menu indeed.

Highly recommend the Peking duck flat noodles and bbq wings with tamarind sauce !!!! Itā€™s amazing ā¤ļøā¤ļøā¤ļø however I found the music to be a little too loud. Nonetheless I had a great experience and staff was friendly šŸ˜
Little Bit Of Everything
It was my first time at Magic Mountain the other day and I must say I am definitely coming back with many more. Amazingly delicious food. Perfect level of spices and flavors. If you are looking for a chilled space to sit with your friends and have some Thai food this is the one. Best part is they take bookings. Good portions perfect for sharing.Ā <br/><br/>Menu HighlightsĀ <br/>Chilli and Lime Popcorn.<br/>Kale and Crispy pork bellyĀ <br/>Mozzarella curried rice balls<br/><br/>Ā If you are a cocktail lover do not miss out on their Bloody Marry because its bloody delicious though my favorite was their Espresso Martini (just because I love my dose of caffeine)
The Food Baby Maker
Absolutely delicious for awesome food and drinks on top of fabulous service! Must go in groups though as most dishes are for sharing. But seriously amazing in all other areas - will be back again and again šŸ¹

Place is pleasant for after work drinks and snacks but for dinner it is a bit too loud and too dim. Service was great, we were always attended to when needed. I order the pork belly red curry and it was delicious. Huge portion size which is worth the price. The chilli and lime chicken popcorn is a must! So delicious but I wish they were slightly bigger in size. Overall, a nice place to visit.

Thai food is popular, Chin Chin, Cookie, and here Magic Mountain. I first came here for my birthday dinning with friends last year. First experince here is impressive , tasty food and meet my expectation of flavoured Thai taste. After that I went back two or three times and I hope to go back more often but reality is this is not for daily dinning because of the price. If I have any special celebration again, this place surely will be one of my choice.
Andrew Nguyen
This place was recommended by a couple of friends but unfortunately we found it to be a let down. The food simply lacked flavour and we found the very dim lighting to be uncomfortable for dinner
Joan Lee
Love this place! Great food. Great service and you can book! <br/>The food is amazing. Each fish came out immaculately presented and as good as it looked. We decided to choose some of the spicy dishes and they aren't joking when they say it's spicy! <br/>The only let down is that as it gets later, the restaurant gets so loud you have to shout to talk. It wasn't great. It was like being in a club. Service is great. Very knowledgeable with the food!
Steve Levon
What a cool place to have a bite to eat and a drink. Love the atmosphere with awesome music and a great vibe. Definitely one of the best bars in Melbourne.

Was here about a month ago and forgot to review it. However, still remember the experience.<br/><br/>The overall vibe is awesome here. The music was great and the staff were super friendly. I really wish we remembered the girl who served us cause she was a awesome!<br/><br/>We started with a few drinks upstairs while we waited for a table. Upstairs bar area is really nice too.<br/><br/>When we got seated, we had a look at the menu and there were so many items that we wanted to order. Unfortunately there was only the 3 of us, so ordered 7 dishes from memory.<br/><br/>The highlights were:<br/><br/>Chilli and Lime Popcorn<br/>Sticky Beef Ribs<br/>Curried Chicken Rendang & Smoked Mozzarella<br/><br/>Would definitely visit again to try some of the other dishes like the Braised Lamb Shoulder Red Curry, Hot Beef Sausage, Red Peppers and Baby Bell Roti, Grass Fed Eye Fillet and the Calamari

The food is 10/10! Great Thai fusion the flavours are unbelievable. Seating and lighting is dim however. The upstairs area is much more intimate then downstairs dining. The service is impeccable, wait staff attentive and bar tenders efficient
