From the time you enter the door until the time you walk out, you'll be wishing every store could treat you this friendly. Staff are always making sure you have everything you need and will always assist you in a fun manner.
The restaurant and bar had a exotic themed decor yet kept a sophisticated look. Each table is closed off from the crowd, allowing you to enjoy your food in peace, drink and chat the night away.
We ordered the Lychee Martini and Cuban Creaming Soda mocktails which was so refreshing with a hint of sweetness, which I loved.
The small entrees were the highlight of my night that kickstarted my delightful experience.
The Pulled Sticky Beef Rib, daikon and garlic chive croquettes was out of this world. It was sweet yet flavourful from the beef, which was crispy on the outside and steaming hot and juicy in the inside.
Betel leaves are my favourite finger food at casual dining restaurants because they are always so little yet burst with flavour. It had a heavenly coconut & palm sugar sauce and lemongrass that proved it was worthy through one bite.
Pad Thai had the perfect amount of savoury, sweetness and sourness. Wished it had some sort of protein in the noodle dish.
The braised lamb shoulder in the Red Curry Eggplant was so soft and fatty. Its fat is mixed in the aromatic perfectly seasoned and spiced curry which went so well with the Roti and Jasmine rice we got.
Papaya salad was very refreshing to eat alongside the heavy meaty and hearty foods. Only downside would be the beans were hard and slightly undercooked.
Jasmine rice was a bit hard for my liking. My biggest request would be to put some COCONUT RICE onto the menu to go with their amazing curries.
A fusion restaurant that is always giving their best through their food and customers.

We got lucky with a table without a booking on a Thursday night. We ordered beef ribs, a duck salad and a roti to share. Although the plates didn’t seem that big, the dishes were very filling. The beef ribs were packed with flavour and the meat was tender. The salad was refreshing and balanced out the beef well. The roti had a chicken filling which was a interesting idea.
The service was really friendly and efficient, topping up our water regularly and making quick comments about our order. The food came out surprisingly quickly for how busy they were.
The restaurant was quite dark and loud, giving it a bar-like ambiance. However, having a high-top table to just the two of us still made it a great date night.
Located on Lt Collins near the corner of Exhibition st, this restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere with plenty of seating over a few floors. Serving Thai/Australian fusion food, we ordered the pork platter and dumplings. One of the best dishes I've had, and the only downside is that I wanted more! Will definitely come back again.
Whilst service was a bit patchy (although this was partly due to them being quite busy), the food here was quite nice, albeit pricey.
Booked last minute but the place seems very organised and on board with the booking. Got a seat straight away. We ordered some beef croquettes, tofu betel leaf, lamb curry with roti, papaya salad and the pad thai. Everything here was beyond expectation and this place is underrated!! Loved everything here and so did my parents who are quite picky eaters haha. Staff were lovely and friendly.
We had the bottomless brunch on a Saturday. Booked for 12:45pm and was told that bottomless brunch started from 12:30. However the waiter was kind enough to let us have it anyway and only started timing after we received our first drink. The service was kind of slow when we ordered for refills. The menu offered with four courses in relatively small portion sizes, but all very delicoius. Taking one star off because the toilets are on the very top level - it is difficult to climb four flights of stairs after having 5 glasses of wine.
Second time here and better than I remembered! Very friendly and helpful staff, the food portion was actually quite big, we ordered two main dishes: curry braised pork belly and beef mince with basil, couldn’t even finish them, and they were super tasty (be careful with the fresh green chili tho, they are quite hot lol), very good value for the money for food and venue like this, overall really good experience. (A bit hard to take pics of the food because of the lighting haha)
Love love love the vibe here, prefect for friends gathering! A great intensive drink and food menu to choose from, we love everything we ordered!
Service was super friendly and food serving was fast given that it was a full house busy Friday night! Will definitely be back for more.
It was a really good place with a nice ambiance too.
We had chicken popcorn *my second favourite*, papaya salad *the mvp of the night*, prok belly, roti, beef noodle, and beef ribs. Overall is actually so delicious and good. With a good portion as well. But the beef ribs is the least that i like amongs them, it’s a bit dry, but they give like a huge protion for the ribs. You still have to try this place 😊😊
We enjoyed the most fabulous boozy breakfast, including new cocktails (shout out for the Lady Jane, the rhubarb/apple one and the off-menu not-quite-espresso-martinis made on special request) and refreshingly different breakfast menu. By far it was the staff who made our morning though - the waiter who gracefully lets you in the side door because his colleague with the keys hasn't quite adjusted to daylight savings, and yet doesn't bat an eyelid is a credit to his team. Fabulous.
Pretty good eating here, we ordered some entrees, popcorn chicken which wasn't just dry crumb chicken pieces (about 15 pieces per serve, just incase you need to know, because the waitress didn't), but lightly crumb tender chicken pieces in a beautifully flavoured sauce in addition to crispy baked potatoes, which was also great. In addition to all of that we also had a number of mains my favourite was the lamb curry with a side of roti bread. Sorry forgot to take pictures of the mains, I was hungry so the phone didn't get to eat first 😉
Came here for dinner due to nice reviews they had and the place certainly didn't disappoint us.
We ordered the feed me menu and there were plenty of foods on the table! We almost couldn't finish them all.
There were fusion peking duck dish, popcorn chicken, pad thai, masaman curry, kale salad, grilled chicken and few others.
We really liked the popcorn chicken as it was juicy and crispy too. The lime leaves used made it feel refreshing.
It's a highly recommended place for dinner if you like Thai fusion style foods.
If you like to take food photos, don't forget to ask you friend to use the phone's torch light for lighting. The place's lights make every photo turns red otherwise.
We had the most incredible night at Magic Mountain on Saturday night. We are already planning to go back ASAP. The food was amazing, delicious and plentiful. The service was brilliant. A huge shout out to Liz who looked after us with incredible good advice, attention and good humour. We went as a group celebrating a much delayed big birthday and the night was made very special by Magic Mountain. The vibe is really fun and the layout inside is very appealing. I was completely full but couldn't stop myself eating more because everything was so tasty. The cocktails and drinks are divine.
Nestled in Little Collins Street, the entrance to Magic Mountain Saloon beckons. It is reminiscent of how I imagine Emma (the lead character) felt when she thought she had discovered a secret club in my favourite Sophie Kinsella novel.
One is unprepared for the sultry red lighting (which also does wonders if one’s red lipstick has gone awry!), the vibrant music emanating from the DJ station and the overall cool factor of the place.
The food did not disappoint either. I must recommend highly the starters. Some dishes do deliver a decent level of “spice” though, be forewarned, if one uses this term to refer to how much chili it packs, but it doesn’t detract from the the overall abundance of flavours.
My favourite was the cured kingfish in betel leaf. The gravy of the green chicken curry was finger-licking good! I must admit I enjoyed every item we ordered. To finish off, I had the coconut ice cream, which was a pleasant way to end this sensational meal.
The wait staff was attentive and very helpful in guiding us through the menu. As we stepped back into the laneway, it was with a full stomach and a contented heart.
Amazing food n drinks! Only criticism the dessert was small to share for 3 people but other than that the fooooood was amazing! Esp the chefs menu!
Great food, great service, great experience all round.
Might have just been the dishes that I ordered but I found all the dishes were quite heavy and that's what I prefer.
We ordered the DIY Baos, Drunken Noodles, Curried Soft Shell Crab, Sticky Beef Ribs and Smashed Potatoes.
All the dishes are quite heavy and pack a lot of flavour.
Different combinations of sweet, sour, salty and spicy that create amazingly tasty dishes.
Enjoyed the DIY Baos even though the pork was slightly dry but the sauces and salad included make up for it.
Really enjoyed the soft shell crab (I recommend getting the Roti on the side as well). The crab was crispy but tender and what was really impressive is how it's mixed entirely into the curry.
The Sticky Beef Ribs was an interesting dish due to the presentation and the textures. The crispy deep fried base topped with beef ribs and chilli was a nice combination of soft, crispy yet sweet.
The dish that I highly recommend and was my favourite is the Drunken Noodles. Every mouthful is just so flavourful and the spice level is adds to the tastiness - be warned it is very spicy. I had to take breaks in between mouthfuls but if you can handle it definitely give it a go!
The restaurant itself has a very social yet relaxed vibe. Service was outstanding and overall would recommend to everyone.
