A lot of veggies options. Portion size was really good. And the best part - it was really yummy.
A really decent Aussie fish n chips style burger in a take away kind of setting, no frills but tasty and good chips too.
Decent old school Burgers. Could improve on the quality of buns.
3.5.
The burgers are huge here. You literally have to hold them with both hands. I got the normal beef burger with extra pineapple and it was so juicy and nice with the beef Patty.
The only thing I thought was a let down, was that the Burger buns itself were a bit dry, cold and hard.
Burger with the lot, tasted like the kind you'd get from a fish n chips shop. So tasty. So generous with the bacon. Reasonably priced. Just... Awesome.
It’s been a few years since I had an Andrew’s burger, and go to do so today - I forgot how great they are! OG burgers that are lush and filling. I must not take so long to return again.
Ordered via UberEats for a lunchtime delivery after hearing heaps about the burgers. The order was for a standard beef burger and 2 kids burgers. One word to describe the burgers is 'AUTHENTIC'. These are old school burgers with egg, beetroot, lettuce and a juicy patty inside and require 2 full hands to hold and consume.
With a plethora of burger joints opening around Melbourne, Andrew's burgers focuses on the basics - simplicity and quality and it does it well. I am tempted to try their souvlakis at some stage as well as they did look quite appetising.
First up, my name was pronounced and spelt correctly, nice.
I ordered the Five’o Hawaiian. Burger came quick and I like the fact that you can see them cooking so you know everything is made fresh. The patty was great and the pineapple and beetroot kept everything at just the right moistness. Care was taken in the order of the ingredients, which made each bite satisfyingly not messy.
Customer service was excellent and I will be coming back here to try the rest of the burgers and the chips.
By far my favourite burger place in Melbourne. Delicious, tasty and massive, using quality ingredients. Word of advice, order direct or through Deliveroo, Uber eats will ruin your burger and be cold by the time you get it.
We ordered take away from Andrew’s last night. To say the burgers blew my mind is an understatement. And the potato cakes were delicious. Will definitely be back :)
Still the best burger in Melbourne. Finally returned to Andrew's Hamburgers after a couple of years overseas and what I mistake I have made; Andrew's in far too close to my place of work for my waistline to handle but I was so happy. Grabbed a quick burger to take away and I couldn't fault it. I go for the Smokey Robinson and the standard hasn't faltered over time. Still excellent home made burgers, with seemingly quality ingredients and a crew that enjoy what they do. Always a good sign when you see the boss man doing his bit too. Never change, I'll be back again this week :)
As always..
Andrews burgers are still the GOAT
Drove from Mornington to get one..
Old skool burgers at their best
I wish I got a photo! Let me tell you, if you want nostalgia in burgers then this is the place to go! It’s the old lot burger you got from the fish and chip shop in the late 90’s to early 2000’s that everyone loves!
Smashed this in the car park with my partner. Top level burger!
I've been reading the reviews from the closed CBD store and the Albert Park one, a lot of complaints on service and burgers from people who have no idea what they're talking about.
Fantastic burger and restaurant. Want a break from the fancy brioche bun burgers? This is the burger to try. I wouldn't recommend ordering from a delivery service, as the buns may turn out soggy just based on all the ingredients included. Textures are great, smells are great, flavours are great and not overpowering. You might struggle with keeping it together especially when getting to the middle.
Pictured is the double patty Smokey Robinson.
Good burgers, cute, old school feel, it's a nice find! A bit slower on the service but overall happy with our vegetarian burgers!
I have walked past Andrew’s many times and it always has a queue of people outside either waiting for their orders or enjoying their orders so I needed to try the burgers to satisfy my curiosity. Well I can see why it is so popular! Their burgers are huge and full of flavor. They are wrapped perfectly so you can get every last bite without it becoming a giant pile of mush at the end. The chips are twice cooked, so you can’t really beat that and their potato cake is a great alternative to their chips or a snack before you get home with your gigantic burger. I have tried their Sanchez Mexican, Smokey Robinson and the Five O Hawaiian. All delicious in their own way. They are very popular and on one occasion they ran out of all meat patties so we had to cancel our order and it was only 7pm on a Tuesday evening and another time I ordered chicken and received beef instead. The bun was a bit stale on one occasion I ordered but that was the only time it was. They have an online ordering service which could do with an update as the time they ran of the patties, each time we reordered we had to put in our details again which was a little frustrating and their closing times are quite early and they close on Sunday which is usually peoples cheat days lol. All in all if you’re in need of a good burger fix would definitely recommend paying Andrew’s a visit.
The burgers are great, but best to call ahead your order as during peak times they are very busy with waiting times upto 45 minutes.
