Review Golden Triangle Restaurant - Melbourne

Charlotte Harris
Oh yum... we had been here before but not for a while, and we were looking forward to our return visit it and it did not disappoint. We shared the soft shell crab salad, the garlic prawns and paid thai prawns and they were all just so tasty and fresh, though I felt the salad took the show. The desserts weren't great but we wrote those off, given the mains were so good. Service was pretty quick considering they were heaving with customers, and even a visit to the bathroom made me stop as they were so incredibly clean - always a great sign! Really really good food and we are already planning a return visit...

Lovely food! I came in a rainy night. Immediately ate my food when they brought out cause I was starving so couldn’t take decent photos of the dishes. But red duck curry is great. Pad satay sauce w stir fry beef is yummy too. Definitely come back.

Nice food, friendly staffs. We definitely will come back!

Cheap, food ingredients were fresh but taste so so,boring and too sweet, not an authentic Thai place , specially for Aussie If u r form Asian and like the real Thai dishes, I don’t think u will be satisfied that much. Pad Thai was wet and sweet, very terrible for me Tom Yum was the best among everything I ordered. The Chu Chi curry chicken and Red Curry barramundi were very similar, the curry in both dishes were nearly same flavor, just the red curry was more sweet...

Lovely food, lovely staff. Prompt, attentive service. Worthwhile to make a booking even during the week. Clean decor and amenities. Tucked away upstairs I prefer to eat here rather than down on the main street where it can get hectic, noisy and full of posers. A good wine list is available for those who are interested.

I love Thai food and this Thai restaurant serves a variety of delicious dishes. The curries are yummy and so are the rice and noodle ones. Rich in flavour, spicy, your taste buds will love it. We have been there a couple of times and were never disappointed. Also good and quick service.

One of the best Thai restaurants in Melbourne, it is a little Thailand, friendly staff, amazing food, worth the price , very good service . Will go again for sure. If you ever go there dont miss Massaman curry

A great way to end your Friday and start your weekend is to eat good food! I used @menulog this time to order from The Golden Triangle located in South Yarra. We ordered: 1. Mixed Entree (Satay chicken, golden bag, spring roll, curry puff and fish cake) 2. Kao Pad Sapparod (Fried rice with mild curry powder, prawn, pineapple and cashew) 3. Cuchi Chicken with Coconut rice All of these dishes were sooo delicious. The price was so good for the portion, I ended up having leftover fried rice for my lunch on the next day. The only downside is I had to share the Mixed Entree with my bf! I better order my own next time 😝

We made a booking online and received confirmation but apparently the online booking was not passed on to the restaurant luckily for us a table had just finished their meal so we could get their table
Our food was not up to normal standard
My egg noodle dish came to the table with a burnt smell and was definitely burnt not tasty at all
My Husband and a Friend also felt that the meal was not up to the normal standard that we normally have at this restaurant
Service was very slow and coffees were cold
Very disappointing
Danny Graham
Wouldn't give us a table where we could have our little girl in a pram. Explained they had a bad reputation for not being family friendly and then apparently the table which we could have put a pram next to was booked five minutes earlier.
Ralena
This restaurant has refused our booking because we had a baby with us! So we will not come back again.

Great food great atmosphere excellent wine list and fantastic staff. Booking essential because it's a very popular place. Definitely 5 star.

The first thai resto i tried here in Melbourne and i loveeee it!!! I love the tom yum kung and fresh spring roll 😍😍😍 they both taste almost like the original ones that i tasted back in bangkok. The pad thai is not bad but it tasted sweet

Golden Triangle is excellent! Located above the 7-Eleven on the corner of Domain rd and Park street, this restaurant boasts beautiful views across to the Botanical Gardens. Entry is off Park st, and the restaurant is up a beautiful staircase (I didn’t see a lift). The restaurant is warm and inviting with strikingly beautiful Thai themed art. The food is excellent and very competitively priced. The menu is large, as is the portion size and you don’t have to wait long for your food either. I would definitely recommend going!
Lynne
A first time visit to this restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised! The food was fantastic and service excellent. The waitresses are pleasant without hovering. Very reasonably priced for a very good feel! We’ll definitely be back for more 😊

Great food however difficult to order if you are s vegetarian as most of the curries and satay have shrimp paste. Even the veggie samosas have oyster sauce.

But all the food we did have was very tasty and very fresh. Highly recommended.

It was really delicious. There was plenty of food. It is a really good place to eat with family and friends. I am very grateful to the kind staff.

I met a couple of new Zomato friends here on Saturday night. This restaurant was hidden away upstairs just near the Botanical Gardens. I liked the Thai decor when I was walking upstairs. When I walked in it was a bit awkward because I gave the name for the booking and the people working here didn’t show me to the table and I’ve never met @feedswithgusto and @bearabbit in person so I didn’t recognise them but they called out to me anyway hehehe.

We decided to order some dishes to share. For the entree we had the money bags, these were smaller than other money bags I’ve had but they were delicious. We also ordered one red curry with prawns and one with beef. The red curry was tasty but it was pretty mild and sweet and not really like the ones I’ve had in Thailand. I really enjoyed the green curry. The best dish of the night was the pad Thai, it was so flavoursome and it had big prawns.

Unfortunately the dessert was a let down. I ordered the taro custard with mango ice cream. The ice was yummy but the custard was over cooked and all I could taste was egg.

The people working here were friendly enough. I would love to come back and have the pad Thai and maybe try some other stir fries. I would’ve given Golden Triangle a 3.5 but unfortunately I can’t with the new Zomato app.

Golden Triangle would be totally missed from the outside, all you can see on the street frontage is a door and then a stairwell as you enter. Once you reach the top floor you enter the restaurant which is very charming.

We were a table of 5, my partner along with Barerabbit & her partner and also Sarah Loves Food. Service was good and prompt and the food was lovely. We ordered a selection of curries to share, I thought they were delicious. The pad thai was also very good, the size of the prawns in both the pad thai and curry were large and juicy! The golden bags were a real treat, I had not had them before, thanks Sarah Loves Food for the suggestion! The desserts were a bit of a miss for me, the only saving grace was the ice cream on both dishes. BYO, always a winner.

All in all, a fabulous night with fabulous company. Thanks guys, look forward to doing it again soon!
Hello. Imnikki
5 diners - two gave a 4, two gave 3.5 and one gave 3. But with this new version of Zomato on my mobile, I can only choose 3 or 4, so for those reading this, do what you will with this bit of information.

Golden Triangle is a great example of a “blink and you’ll miss” restaurant. Look out for the signage, take the stairs up a level and go through the right door. Service was very polite, and dishes appeared at the table really quick.

The general consensus was that the Golden Bags and the Pad Thai were amazing, and while the prawns used in the dishes were very fresh and juicy, the beef was a bit tough. The curries were leaning towards the sweet spectrum, tasty nonetheless, but more geared toward the Western palate. Thumbs up for the coconut ice cream and the mango ice cream, but thumbs down for the taro custard which tasted like a bland egg custard.

Great company for the night though. It was fab to finally meet Sarah Loves Food, and as usual, we had a blast with Simmyeats.Melb and her partner.

Overall: Winner!! An intimate space, excellent service, and excellent food.
Food: Pad Thai was fantastic! Chuchi chicken was fantastic! And plenty of both. Loved the fish cakes as entree. Roti and peanut sauce was excellent too. Loved it all!
Service: Excellent! I'd say you need a booking on busy nights, but they accommodated us nicely.

Great Thai Food, Small place so does require prior booking on busy nights !! Food has always been good and served quick.. A must visit for Thai Food Lovers.. Totally recommend the Prawn Pad Thai..
FoodingAroundMelbourne
Delicious. Probably the closest tasting thing to food in Thailand that I've found in Melbourne. The chili basil.dish was spot on with heat. .
Good Food Good Mood
We were headed to the moonlight cinema and stopped by golden triangle to pick up dinner prior. Conveniently located just across the road the interiors were gorgeous and it would have made for a lovely dine in setting. We waited about twenty minutes for the food and when we opened up the containers I couldn’t believe how thoroughly delicious everything was. Three of us opted to share (husband stuck to his healthy chicken cashew nut solo) and all of the dishes were absolutely packed with flavour. The sauces were a sensation with the chicken satay even managing to make the broccoli taste amazing. The coconut rice wasn’t as coconutty as I tend to like but the roti bread and peanut sauce was a winner. The prawn pad see ew was phenomenal such great flavours and the veg were all super fresh too. The pad Thai was also excellent (we stuck to the classics!) and the containers were all full to the brim. This will now become our standard pre cinema dining stop. I cannot believe I never knew about this place!

Heard many good comments about this restaurant and for good reason: delicious food. The venue is great and the decoration is welcoming and cozy. I recommend you order the mixed entrees, highlight was the curry puffs yum! Tried the duck curry and BBQ beef to no disappointment at all. I just couldn't stop eating! Roti bread, peanut sauce... The only dish that did not exceed expectations was the duck salad, though very tasty and interesting it was too overpowering as a meal... but it's good for sharing between 3-4 people as a side dish. Service was reasonably fast and staff very friendly. I will come back! My bill for two was $90 for two entrees, two mains, serves of rice and roti, 2 soft drinks, and a beer. Not bad.
Peter
Tomyum soup had a great flavour. The stomach warming feeling of the chilli broth was pleasant.

Fried Barramundi was drenched in the sweet soya sauce that over-powered the taste of the fish at times. The bottom side of the fish was, sort of, over-cooked so that it was caramelised in the sweet sauce. Could not finish it off, as the sauce overtook the fish taste when I was half way.

We asked for two seperate serves of jasmine rice. Waiter had misunderstood our desire and brought a bowl that contained two serves. Note to take: if you wish for a special order, make sure the waiter understands the order that you give.

Overall service were great. Always smiling and respectful.

Great ambience with friendly staff. Food was of superb quality and taste. Recommend the pad Thai. if you like your food spicy any dish can be made to fit your spice level.

This place is great, value for money Thai. Eat in or take away, it's all delicious. I love coming here for a quick mid week dinner. You can't go past the stir fry and curry options. And the new interior update looks good.

One of the super dodgy..attracting diners..wasted 40 dollars again here..

Nothing different..just got their pad thai and rice dish..

Same kind of base and flavours.

One sided service and stinky rude ambiance.

Highly not recommended...

Golden Triangle, South Yarra, cuisine - Thai! A warm and spicy impromptu dinner on a cold wintry night brrr ❄️ ❄️ !!! Lovely decor, great location overlooking the Tan. Great vegetarian/vegan menu. I got red curry without fish/oyster sauce - a win for me! Great flavours. Great find for sure 😊 #rating4 #trynewthingseveryday #vegetarianrocks #trynewfood #melbourneblogger #melbournebesteats #vegbourne #ilovemelbourne #instablogger #vegetarianfood #veganfood #thaifood #iloveredcurry #redcurryspicy #springisnowheretobeseen #toocold #southyarra #thetan #foodblogger #foodielife #foodieforlife #vegetarianfoodie

Great food. Been here a couple of times. But last night was one of the worst service experiences I've ever had in a restaurant.

Complete lack of interest from the two waitresses. Aside from delivering food, they didn't once come to the table to check if we needed anything. We had to get up and walk to the other side of the restaurant to order drinks and have our bottle of wine put in the fridge.

We even had to take the bill up to get paid!

No word of a lie, the WORST service ever. And I've eaten at a lot of restaurants around the world.

Elonie
Lovely interior and great tasting food. The satay gai looks a bit small, but we really liked the satay sauce. It's good that the gado gado and roti bread came with plenty of satay sauce too. The chuchi chicken is tasty with the coconut milk and it goes well with the coconut rice.

Visited here with my family on a Friday night. The service was great so accommodating, food was quick to come out and the best Thai we have had in Melbourne. Caters for coeliacs and vegetarians well, good portion sizes and a lovely atmosphere, will definitely be back!

I've always loved this place been going there since I was very young however the new Decorations I'm not a fan of whats so ever! Its way to bright and distracting from what I should be enjoying which is the food! I love the food regardless and the waitresses are always very sweet!
Fatcat
What a bright interior! We only tried (and therefore I can only recommend) two things on the menu: the duck curry and the soft shell crab 🦀 salad 🥗. Both were delicious! The crab salad in particular is packed with flavour. New go-to Thai place!
T
Details: incredible thai food. The pad thai and mossomin (cant spell it) chicken was actually incredible. I can't believe it took me so long to come to this place. We ordered way too much food (which we finished and left feeling like hippos).

The interior is lovely. Genuinely makes you feel Thai for the night.

Staff were attentive.
Mrs Mark
Solid Thai food. We had the duck curry (small portion size), gado gado (fresh and delicious), the sizzling beef and pad Thai (more generous portion size). The service was quick and friendly and the view of the botanical gardens was a bonus.
Filet De Boeuf
Golden Triangle is surprisingly good Thai food! Priced as it is, I'm sure many people may dismiss the restaurant's food as cheap and tasteless, but this certainly isn't the case. Was impressed and will be back in the future.

Absolutely fabulous Thai. Service and food quality off the chart. Highly recommended. I will be back even though I live. In Brisbane.
Could not get into Chin Chin... made to queue like peasants....no such nonsense here and I am positive that the experience was superior.
Fabulous.
Emily
Absolutely divine food! Have been here a few times over the course of the last two years, as it is right across from the botanic gardens and makes for a delicious dinner after a lovely day. Only managed to take a photo of the entree as I was too excited when the mains came out! We have the golden bags, the green chicken curry and the red curry beef. Cannot stress enough what yummy Thai this is. Also the restaurant decor was much nicer than a lot of eat in Thai places. The staff were so kind and welcoming and obviously great at their jobs.

Let me start with the best thing I noticed in this Thai restaurant - It is difficult to find pure vegetarian in thai usually as there will be that fish sauce/oyster sauce used somewhere! The staff were excellent to inform upfront that what can be classified 'Total vegetarian' which is rare to find in other thai restaurants!

We started off with the usual suspect - Veg spring rolls which had this unique flavor to it which i personally loved! Tom Kar soup was a bit too strong with flavors but still was very fresh! Then we got Vegetarian Pad Grapow with coconut rice. Coconut rice was too good and the Pag grapow was exceptional. We also ordered Golden triangle noodle which is like a half burnt noodle (Not sure if it is by design or by mistake!). While the flavours were great, I personally did not like the idea of eating half burnt noodles.

Decor is cozy and staff exceptional. A bit pricey but worth every penny! Will go back again :)

Three of us shared fried soft shell crab, beef salad, pad Thai, green Thai curry & roti with satay sauce.

Crab, pad Thai & roti wasn't the best I've had but definitely not the worst. Satay sauce was too sweet and beef was over cooked and if it was medium-rare then the salad would've been great cuz the dressing was delish!

Highly recommend the green Thai curry. Fragrant, flavourful and not heavy at all. Definitely hit the spot on a cold wintery night.

It's nice to dine at a place where you're not cramped on tables and music isn't bursting the eardrums. Just make sure you call up prior!
Zargol Harandi
It's the best Thai place I've been in Melbourne. It's all about the food. Here you can have the original Thai food not the only is selling as Thai in shopping centres.
We had red curry and green curry plus coconut rice which was amazing; it was soooo delicious. The Spring role for the appetiser was very good, it was not oily or dry.
Overall we enjoyed our time there, I highly recommend this place.

Beautiful ambience and very authentic Thai decorations with soft music which made the place feel very cozy and comfortable for a family dinner. Food portions were good, overall dining experience was pleasant.

Great food
Nice location
Friendly staff
Easy to read menu, food came out fast, green curry and cashew nut chicken were perfect.
Portion sizes were spot on (words from a big eater)

Best authentic thai in town. My friends rave about it and I often do a take away after work. Tom Yum full of flavour and goodies - perfect prawns. Duck curry relish and entrees are all great. Chicken curry puffs my favourite

Really delicious Thai food. I love their Green Curry and Pad Thai. Nice upstairs restaurant location on the corner overlooking the botanic gardens. Very friendly staff.

Best thai ever. Good service good food. Im so glad I fund this restaurant. I really recommend this thai restaurants. You must be there, not going to regret.

My favourite Thai in South Yarra. Decor is nothing special but the basic Thai food is very good, portions are generous and the prices very reasonble. Wine list limited but excellent value.

Never fails to impress... Beautiful food, non pretentious surrounds, wonderful service and very decent prices!
Have I mentioned the food? Outstanding dishes!!

Excellent Thai food.. Up an ageing staircase sits this gem. The service is haphazard though friendly, the tables are close together, but the food, the food is delicious. It is clean, fresh, spicy and hopefully healthy. Perhaps an overemphasis on coriander. A stand out - duck curry.
D
Slow. Ordered food for pickup and was told it takes about 20 minutes. They kept us waiting over an hour... Won't go there again.
Natalie Marsh
Decor and ambiance lovely. .... Decor and ambiance lovely.
Food was great and reasonably priced.
Only issue was that one meal arrived a good 10 minutes before the other.
Sheena
48 hours before my birthday dinner for 30 people, they sent me a message cancelling my booking.
As a regular customer I am angry and disappointed. Rude, and not good enough.

Our favorite Thai. We have been going to the Golden Triangle for many years and the quality is always superb. Whether it's in a group or just for 2 we have never been let down. Take away is also amazing. Have to try the beef pad grapow and the beef salad(great zingy flavours). Such a lovely area and reasonably priced. Never had any problems with the service.
Davidjking49
Always excellent food. I have been eating there and also having take away food regularly over the last five years. The standard of cuisine is consistently excellent and hence our repeat visits and take aways.
Golsa Adabi
Great food, flavour & price! Definitely a new local favourite!
Foodreview
We have ordered take out a few times & we are always happy. Unfortunately when things go wrong its very difficult to communicate to sort out the issue. I placed an order for my partner to pick up on his way home we received the order for 'cole' brought it home & I realised it was the wrong order. I then spent 10mins on the phone trying to explain we were given the wrong order & eventually she said to bring it back. The worst thing is that 30secs after my partner returned the order to the counter they gave it to the correct person! The other persons order made it all the way to our house & back! Inappropriate & never again!
Laura
Great place! My partner and I went with three friends and we were all very satisfied with the meal! Lovely fresh food and very good service! And the coconut ice cream is an excellent way to finish dinner!!!
James Narrn
Great Thai food. I enjoy every visit to this restaurant. And take away is exceptional too!
Colin Johnston
Everything about this place is great. Honest, warm, fast service, great food at very reasonable prices. These guys are legendary. It's so refreshing not to be imposed upon by some trendy idiots telling you you should "share" because what that actually means is that they get more money. The Golden Triangle is traditional Thai, respectful and delicious. Keep up the attitude.
Foodlover
Good food, great service, friendly staff. Just the portion was a bit smaller comparing to other thai restaurants I have been to. Will definately come back.
Lee
Great Thai. This is our local place for Thai. Great red duck curry and massaman curry.

I've been there when its busy and service is slow and the place can get very noisy! But if you go there when it's quiet -usually before dinner rush and try to avoid Friday and Saturday nights -it's very pleasant and food as been consistently good.

Bit pricey but it's good food and a nice place to eat out
Grant
Amazing food and service.. Our dining experiance was perfect, the resturant decor was beautifull, the waitress staff were very polite and the meals were incredible.
Coco
If you know what Thai food is all about this is not a destination for you as it's not authentic Thai cuisine. When I went there the restaurant was nearly full but only 2 waitresses were on the floor and service was terrible. I do not recommend this restaurant to anybody.
Jobber Smith
Thailand.. All I could think of was how yum the waiter.... I mean, the meal was. Most friendly service I have experienced in Thai restaurant setting. I am going as far as to say this is the best Thai restaurant in Melbourne, (Though this is upto personal preference).

For me, all the veg was v fresh and scrum did. The chook was cooked v well, v tender, lots of flavours and very filling!

Cute couple sitting next to my friend and I moved though... not sure what that was about, probably because I was commenting on how nice the staff were.
Stella Gold
Good local Thai. Good food, reasonably priced, what more can I say? Simple and enjoyable.
Tess
Have been coming here for years and still love it. Super happy staff, and the space is great for group dinners. Love the food, and that it's BYO!
Pauline
Best thai in melbourne.. This is a hole in a wall restaurant, which is good for us. we're locals, and we dont want this restaurant getting too popular - as we always get a table, and always always always have impressive, consistently beautiful food.

its not 'authentic' thai - but the flavours, we must say, are better. curries are creamy and amazing and coconutty. the duck curry is phenomenal. service is prompt and friendly, the place is clean with lovely simple Thai decor. food is reasonably priced; my only complaint is that they've stopped home delivery!
Healthy2Petite
Its NOT an Aunthentic Thai Restaurant. We were excited when we came in, with all the interior is so Thai-ly presented. But the customer service is really bad, they in fact complaint us came with one person less from the quantity of person that I booked.. I mean.. Its not a big deal ok.. They had so many empty tables at that time..
The waitress and chef mostly speak korean, which I confused about. When we made our order and asked for recommendation, the waitress just randomly choose one dish that we had ordered and reply "I don't know". Very "Impressive" righttt???

The Foods taste Non-Thai at all.
Justanotherlocal
The BEST Thai in South Yarra, if not Melbourne!. Came here for dinner last week and it was absolutely exceptional. The service is excellent, no cranky or flustered staff here! The food comes out quickly but has been well prepared and just tastes SO authentic. Even the little things like extra seasoning on the spring rolls makes such a difference. We will definitely be coming back for more!
Vanessa
Stumbled upon this restaurant. What a great find! Authentic Thai food. We ordered the fish cakes, golden bags, duck curry and Tom yum prawns. All were good, especially the duck curry & Tom yum! The Tom yum started out a tad sweet but the sour & hot flavours starts coming out. We would definitely be back.
VickyB
I would say that our mixed starter was nice, red duck curry rather average. I would like to come back and give it another try and order some of the wok dishes as they seemed to be very popular. I was surprised that service was pretty bad - we had to wait forever even to get the menus and received no apologies for that. Some of the waitresses preferred to stand in the corner and look at you instead of coming over and do their job. But as everyone else in the reviews talked about good service and we have recently moved to the area we probably will give it another go.
Dan Marsh
Fantastic. The best Thai restaurant I've been to in Melbourne!
Kimberley Rose
Absolutely brilliant. Loved it. The service was fantastic, staff were lovely and helpful, food was authentic and more than enough. Restaurant has a great atmosphere. Will definitely be returning.
Jovin Wai
Excellent high quality thai food with friendly staff and efficient service! Recommend Golden Bag as entree, duck salad and Penang beef curry as mains! The Ton Yum is also awesome!
Rob
Organized mums 70th birthday for 20 people. We had a set menu banquet. The food was delicious, there was plenty of it and the service was great. Highly recommended.
Wendy Brown
YUM. EXCELLENT food service and pricing. I will be back
Jamie Hart
Fantastic. Been here twice now, both times with largish groups - the food is absolutely delicious, and the service is great. Best Thai food I've had in Melbourne.
SallDoll
Lovely Thai restaurant. We chose this restaurant based on location to suit a group and were not disappointed. It's a 'real' restaurant, no plastic chairs, no snappy service just honest, tasty Thai food and service. We will be back with 'bells on'
Ivan St Clair
Entrees are great. Family of 6 for dinner before heading into the Botanic Gardens for an outdoor show. We ordered a selection of entrees and asked if we could be finished within an hour. Entrees were all excellent including golden parcels, curry puffs, lettuce rolls, duck rolls, prawn spring rolls, regular spring rolls and of course fish cakes. All dishes were tasty and (importantly) NOT greasy. Finished within an hour and the family was very happy. Service was very good but english may be limited so be very clear about what you want eg 2 serves of fish cakes = 8 fish cakes (4 per serve) not 2, a bottle of sav blanc with 4 glasses shouldn't be 4 glasses of sav blanc. These 2 minor issues were identified early and corrected before they became issues. We would return.
Joanna P
Fantastic. We've been incredibly lucky to have Golden Triangle as our local for the past few years. Beautiful food, really cheap prices and the sweetest staff. They deliver too!
Can't recommend highly enough.
Ratcatcher
Ratcatcher. This is my local Thai takeaway - although unfortunately they only deliver in the South Yarra area. Pork with Eggplant... A-Mazing.

Great Place, Food & People+++. Have been a few times now and everytime has been good so highly recommend it as Thai food fan
Bamboo Bear
Great food at great prices. Lovely little restaurant with friendly staff
Lisa Polly
Aweome thai food at genuine 2002 prices. Best golden bags I have had in Australia. All of the curries are great too.
Woyzeck
Fantastic food at very cheap rates! Very intimate ambience.
Stuart Gardner-Vaughan
Consistently delicious. Consistently good Thai food that won't break the bank. Thai green chicken curry is very tasty, nice and creamy and has enough vegies. Pad Khing is fantastic - lots of vegies and just perfect with chicken and tofu.

Hightly recommend this restaurant. Not a 5 star silver service experience but good food and cheap.
Cedric
For your local Thai restaurant, Golden Triangle represents good value for money. Not something you would go a long way for, but worth a visit if you are nearby. BYO and takeaway avalable.
