Cheap eats with good flavor at neighborhood. Dinning environment is average. Will come back for takeaway.
The dine-in experience was a simple, down-to-earth affair. A school going kid in uniform was the ‘waiter’. He was smart and articulate, yet very quiet. The food made by ?Dad was served hot and was tasty. Very reasonably priced. If you are looking for a quiet, no-frills pleasant experience, do dine here as food will be served fresh and steaming hot. BYO. Seen plenty of takeaway orders being prepared in the hour or so we were there. Thank you.
Curry Laksa was very nice.
Mee Goreng extremely tasty!
Prices very reasonable.
Decor is not flash, however had head down and eating all the time anyway 😍
Well worth a visit.
Delicious Malaysian Hawker style food. Came here for lunch on a Friday with a few friends from work. I had a booking but we were the only ones in the whole restaurant at 12.30pm. I find it really weird considering the food were delicious. The waiter although very polite she didn’t speak much English and in the middle of service she asked us to pay first because she had to leave. Also to remind us that the chef doesn’t speak English...lol. Before she left, she brought us some fried bun with condensed milk also some tea, complementary.
I wonder if they are actually busy at night. I would come back again for the food. Maybe take away as there’s not much ambience in the restaurant.
Finally found my way to this slightly hidden restaurant last Saturday evening. My reference dish that I will always order from a Malaysian restaurant is the Nasi Lemak and that's what I got with beef rendang. The rice was the required coconut rice although it was a little mild. I loved the rendang sauce but the beef was a little tough but overall an enjoyable dish. The roti with peanut sauce was ok. Tom yum fried rice vermicelli was tasty. The stand out dish was the vegetarian curry puffs! Yum! I'll definitely be heading back soon to try other dishes.
Great little Malaysian place near home. Always great service and great food. Value for money and fantastic for takeaway. Do yourself a favour and try anything on the menu.
Great food! so delicious. and the staff are amazing - highly recommended! id recommend the potato Sambal.
A great stop if you are on your way to the airport as well!
Went with friends and tried this little beauty last night and can say with confidence, you won't be disappointed. It's a small family business which you notice straight away with their very smiley and friendly manner. The food is great, my fav for the night was the salt and pepper calamari/squid. The rest was excellent too, and cost were reasonable for the proportions you get. So. If you're looking for a quiet out of the way place, with delicious tasty Malay food, As Molly would say "do yourself and favour" and check it it out, you won't be disappointed.
Found on Zomato and thought would give it a go. So glad we did. The woman who was on the phone couldn't be more helpful. Everything from the curry puffs to the beef rendang and Singapore chicken, was just delicious.will definitely go back and eat in next time .
Love this place so much!!!
The best Malaysian Restaurant in Moonee Valley!!
We had been coming here for year, they never disappointed us. The food is so yummy!! We love their green curry so much. Vegetarian curry puff is another winner.
