Accidentally happened to stumble across Shinjuku on Elizabeth street expecting it to be similar to its counterparts situated across Melbourne.

Upon being sat down and shown the menu, I quickly came to realise that it was very different from your regular Shinjuku restaurants. Although the ambience and decor may make you feel like you are dining at one of their other locations, the menu itself was what made this in particular special

The small yet interesting menu captivated me in which I immediately ordered the Truffle ramen and chicken Karaage.

The chicken karaage was cooked well, very similar to the ones you would get at any Shinjuku franchise, however the Truffle ramen was absolutely amazing. Rich and creamy broth with a strong truffle aroma, beautiful pork pieces and shiitake mushrooms.

Staff were also super friendly. All in all, stumbling across Parco project x Shinjuku was definitely a happy accident. Will definitely be back to try the lobster ramen!!

I'm a ramen freak from Japan. I used to have ramen at least 3 times a week when I was in there. However after I've moved in here, had not much times.

Parco’s ”truffle ramen” was treffic!! I had it 3 times in a week. It's not like general Miso, Shoyu, or Tonkotsu, but kinda out of ordinary style’s Italian Japanese one. It must be new for you.
Even if it located in Tokyo which has enormous number of ramen restaurants, it worth to visit. I guarantee the quality and cost performance. I'm pretty sure this ramen can survive in Tokyo.
It's surprising that such as delicious and unique ramen born in Melbourne!! You should try!! I'll have it tomorrow too.

Parco Project at the Elizabeth Street store was delicious. I went the Parco Classic with added nori and roasted tomato. Although the roast tomato might sound stranger, its the perfect addition to a bowl. It's like an umami bomb ready to explode in your mouth.

Unbelievable food Take me right back to the small Japanese izakaya’s in Tokyo that I love and miss so much. Can’t wait to go back every time I am in the CBD

A must if you love or even just like Ramen, your world will be changed! Absolutely incredible creamy, fresh, filling and bursting with flavour!! It was about 10pm, so it’s open late, while the rest of the city is closing down. The lovely guy let us in and we got a seat despite it being very busy, and the food came so quickly!! We sat and watched the busy and compact kitchen do their thing and was amazed. I loved the whole experience!

Yummmmmmm. Chicken broth based ramen, with options to have pork or chicken cha-shu. The first sip you take gives this big impact of chicken flavour. Its thick and hearty. I prefer this over the Hakata chicken ramen at QV, a couples blocks away. They're cha-shu is charred and yummmmm. I got the spicy signiture ramen. I will come back to try their vegan variety which looks equally as delish. Don't be confused by the Shujinko branding outside of the shop.

good place to have ramen if you're craving. unfortunately the lobster ramen was sold out so couldnt try. noodles were very good and fresh. broth was flavourful. egg could be better but yolk was overcooked for my liking.

This little dive on Elizabeth Street is a real charmer. Long, narrow with it's dark wood and galley style seating, it reminds me a lot of a Ramen bar I used to visit in Shibuya, Tokyo. There are so many Ramen bars these days that they have to make an effort to stand out and this one does with the excellent and earthy black garlic Ramen I had.

Loyal shujinko ramen customer on Russell and glen here. I ordered the spicy signature ramen with charshu and roast tomato. Really good ramen with a couple of minor issues.. 1. 3 to 4 noodles end bit were clump together, once on my first bite and another time half way through. Probably is from how the ramen is made/ cut or they didn’t stir to seperate the noodles out. Not a good way to start my ramen. 2. The way that the egg was cut via a string actually cause some deformation. Visual not appealing but it was delicious. Other than the above two issues, broths was flavourful and good amount of spice! Would have it again but a bit disappointed with the clumpy noodles. / side note, the noodles seems to be different to the one in Russell and glen. I prefer the other one.

Lunch @ParcoRamenYatai and the Black Truffle Ramen looked rather appealing. Truffle and shiitake broth with chicken base, topped with chashu pork, shiitake mushroom, and dashi marinated egg A bold flavoured thicker creamy chicken broth oozing flavour with the truffle very prominent, this is such a delight to eat. The ramen egg noodles are delicious and I enjoyed the egg and chashu pork. Versions I've eaten previously have thicker slices of pork so you may wish to order extra as there are 3 thin bacon like slices and you may be wishing for more after eating them. Delicious satisfying lunch. #Japanesefood #chashupork #ramennoodles #truffle #broth #egg #foodie #melbournefood #melbournecbd @zomatomelb
