Accidentally happened to stumble across Shinjuku on Elizabeth street expecting it to be similar to its counterparts situated across Melbourne.
Upon being sat down and shown the menu, I quickly came to realise that it was very different from your regular Shinjuku restaurants. Although the ambience and decor may make you feel like you are dining at one of their other locations, the menu itself was what made this in particular special
The small yet interesting menu captivated me in which I immediately ordered the Truffle ramen and chicken Karaage.
The chicken karaage was cooked well, very similar to the ones you would get at any Shinjuku franchise, however the Truffle ramen was absolutely amazing. Rich and creamy broth with a strong truffle aroma, beautiful pork pieces and shiitake mushrooms.
Staff were also super friendly. All in all, stumbling across Parco project x Shinjuku was definitely a happy accident. Will definitely be back to try the lobster ramen!!
First time visiting the Elizabeth street Shujinko. it was amazing. the menu has such a nice blend between Japanese and Italian flavours.
Great atmosphere as well as prompt and friendly service. Highly recommend swinging by if youre down that way.
