I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. It is better than an average pub meal, prices are reasonable. Service was quick and friendly. Freshly baked dinner rolls serviced hot with perfect temperature butter. I had seafood linguini. Very fresh ingredients and lots of seafood. Everyone else’s meals were beautiful too. Portion sizes are very generous. Will go back there when in the area.
Enjoyed our food here. Our meals were tasty and service was good. Water is provided, but you have to go up and get it yourself. There are special deals for different days of the week at dinner time that you may want to check out in advance and choose what day you want to go.
I went there with Young Steven for Lunch this afternoon and I ordered the 300g Glaziers Porterhouse Steak with Chips but the same thing to drink and Young Steven had the Mexicana Pizza and the Carlton Draught to drink The staff were kind to us and the service was amazing.
Came here the other night with three others and I had a steak (scotch fillet) my other friends had a chicken Parma, steak (porterhouse) and the brisket burger along with drinks. What a delicious steak! Cooked perfectly with a lovely mushroom sauce! Was super tender and satisfied my steak craving! Will definitely be back! Only bad thing was that they don’t do take away (overheard the other table ask)...but why would you when the food was so delicious!
Came for Christmas lunch yesterday and were very pleasantly surprised! The quality of the buffet was excellent value for money ($95) per head. All the food was plentiful and delicious. We were all very impressed with the food, staff, ambiance and service. A+ Knox Club, you nailed it!
Honest pub food in congenial atmosphere. Very pleasant staff. Two of our group enjoyed the seniors meal. $17 for pumpkin soup, 150gm of perfectly cooked steak and a chocolate slice with cream. Other mains were generous serves.
I decided to have lunch at this bistro, and I ordered a porterhouse steak with garlic prawn topper, it tasted fantastic and I enjoyed it a great deal
I opted for the ‘Spaghetti Carbonara - bacon, egg, spring onion and cracked pepper with a hint of cream, finished with parmesan cheese ($21.00)’. The pasta sauce was just like homemade with an abundance of sliced bacon.
First time attending this enjoyable venue. Good customer service with great food... Reasonably priced, I would definitely eat here again :)
Have been here many times,never disappointed always great staff who give excellent service nothing too hard for them.
Tonite the six of us in our late 60s were blown away by the quality of the food,service,ambience for a club bistro,the spaghetti I had was as good if not better than Italian places we frequent.

I feel like every time I go here the menu changes quite dramatically. Hard to have a favourite menu item. I do however appreciate that the chefs are always very accommodating to my dietary requirements. Much appreciated! Service is quite good about 90% of the time
The staff were amazing, they looked after us out on the deck and made us feel welcome. The food was beautiful and the Angus burger and grilled lamb was perfect. Good portions and reasonable prices. Thank you, we are looking forward to our next visit
