Very friendly staff. Food came out really quick aswell. The guacamole was deconstructed and the tortilla chips were just amazing. Could just eat the chips on their own. All three tacos were oozing with flavour. So many juices. Green bean taco was amazing. Recommend
best vegetarian tacos i’ve had in melbourne. can’t wait to come back! I just came in the afternoon and it was small but I bet it’d be really fun at night.
Came here after a gig for some late night tacos! I got the fish and mushroom tacos. They were so delicious I couldn’t stop thinking about it for the rest of the night!
Also had some mulled wine - delicious. I’ll be coming back another time for sure.
Love the vibes/atmosphere of the place as well.

Such a funky spot! Loved the ambience and the tacos were delicious. This is somewhere I felt super comfortable staying for ages to chat, because the staff were so welcoming. Highly recommend this as a great spot to catch up with your mates!
Technically I want to give it 4.5 stars but Zomato doesn't really allow that, however that being said... this is a solid 4.0 stars! Little Hop is serving up some tasty tacos with some quality ingredients. Fresh veggies, balanced sauces and some developed flavour in the marinades used for the chicken, beef and pork fillings for the tacos. Oh yeah, the fish taco is bangin as well! Will be back for moar!
These guys are little but they pack a punch of flavour and life, the vibes just wanted me to break out in a rumba.
I passed by on a Friday night after the ice bar and was hoping for something to warm me up a little. And boy these guys delivered. I had a Gordita and Abuela’s Beef Gordita and after trying at least 5 taco places in Fitzroy I can say that these guys do it best.
It would be impossible to pass by their window and see them making tacos the right way without giving it a taste.
Just a heads up, seating is super limited.
Really vibrant and relaxed place for a late night meet-up over tacos and a few drinks. My personal favorite tacos are the mushroom and beef ones. Zucchini and chicken ones are a bit pale in comparison. Music is a little bit too loud but overall a great place to hangout with friends.
Has a craft beer selection it has no business have being such a small venue - puts the rest of the street to shame. Tacos are cheap, delicious, and a considerable step above the usual ‘mexican’ fare. Staff are friendly and the tunes are always banging. One of those joints that if you don’t like it then it’s just not for you - but everything they do well they do really well. For chill drinks, nice tacos and a good soundtrack it’s a solid destination.

Reminds me of all the great little bars Melbs had in the early 2000's, small, slightly dingy but with style and a record player.
Staff are great and friendly.
Food is top shelf along with the tequila and beer selection, menu isn't massive but it really doesn't need to be. ($5 tacos etc.)
I go here religiously on a Sunday and will always come back.
The fish taco was amazing, best I’ve ever had. Guac and chips which can sometimes be average was amazing and I wish I could’ve eaten more. Will be coming back!
Brilliant. The tacos are delicious with great options and quite cheap. Margaritas delicious. Venue and atmosphere funky. Good spot for a quick bite or spend longer drinking through the tequila and craft beer menu.
Best Mexican ever! I had mushroom taco and Gorditas. So tasty and juicy 😋 Everyone else ate meat tacos and loved it too. The Don Julio tequila shot came with a nice chaser. Highly recommended!
Pretty cosy little spot. Was super busy when I visited but not overcrowded. Service was quick and the staff were friendly. The tacos and margaritas were delicious 👍
So far, the BEST tacos I have come across in Melbourne. We ordered everything (but the dessert) on the menu, and everything was a stand out! The jalapeño Margherita for the win too! To the super friendly staff working Valentines Day, thank you, we had a fantastic time sitting at the bar!
Came here for a Mexican food fix - left with a craving for more Mexican food. Gem of a place - especially their fish tacos and mushroom tacos.
Fish tacos and quesadillas were awesome and the margarita and michelada were 👍. Good vibe and music. Parking in area ok - Get there 6ish on a Saturday and it’s walk in. By 715 small queue. 🇲🇽
