I thought this place was so cosy! When you first walk in it has a cosy vibe. Its in the lounge of the hotel don't let that stop you. A great lunch menu with $5 happy hour we didn't leave disappointed. The service was good!
The staff at Alibi were really helpful when I asked them to change up one of their burgers to make it vegetarian and the outcome was one of the tastiest burgers I have eaten! The lunch express menu is great and the food is quick. Will definitely be back!
This restuarant is simply amazing 😀 every meal was flawless, service was perfect and the atmosphere was warm and beautifully decorated. We will be definitely going here again and again.
Lo and Behold - $15 Steak specials are a winner for a lunch time option. Comes with a serving of chips and salad. Ordered medium rare but mine came out more to the medium side; however was still quite pleased with the flavour and smokiness that came through the meat. The chips were well seasoned, and the salad was refreshing - making it for a decent meal. Staff were very friendly, and food came out quickly. Will be back for sure!
Had conference in Melbourne and stayed at the Mantra at Little Burke. Early in the morning went down to this place for the complimentary breakfast. Set-up is quite nice and food choices for breakfast was reasonably good. I think the best was the cup of coffee that they served, which is the Vittoria coffee (one of my favorites). Definitely, the strength and the aroma gave me lot of energy for the day. Thank you!
Great smoked Chicken Salad.. Nice lunchtime option. Char grilled swordfish was a disappointment.. bland and didnt have chorizo

Really good - even for a hotel restaurant!. I generally stay away from hotel restaurants. I'm not sure why, I guess I tend to assume the menu will be over-priced ordinary food. Given I've been working in close proximity to Alibi for more than 6 years now, I thought, it's time to give it a go.
I'm so glad I did.
My burger was absolutely delicious, and the wedges were awesome. The seasoning they use is yummo. My companion had the Reuben sandwich (which I sampled) and that was excellent too.
The prices are extremely reasonable and I think this place is a bit of a hidden gem.
Forget the hotel restaurant clichés, and give this place a try. I will definitely be returning.
Great location in cbd attached to Mantra hotel. Free off street parking after 8.30pm. Great food and good value with the Fork 50% discount. Good service.
As other reviewers have noted, surprisingly good dining experience. Most importantly for a hotel restaurant, doesn't feel like one! Dining area is well appointed, warm lighting and ambience, while being intuitively distinguished from the reception area. Food portions were impressively generous, creatively presented and well cooked. Had the pork belly and wife had barramundi. Neither of us were disappointed.

We just had the best Friday lunch here! Their Express menu is great value however an absolute highlight was the service. We were served by Bree M - who was SO lovely, and so accommodating! Thank you!
Loved staying here!! Great location great rooms for a great price. Buffet breaky was pretty standard but filled the hole.
Only thing I would recommend is a big choice for your complementary drinks.
