A cozy little corner cafe in Carlton far away from the busy Lygon street. I've been to all the cafes in Carlton and by far, this place is my favourite. I love coming here in between classes to have some care-free moments during the day while enjoying warm natural sunlight coming through its big windows. Such a peaceful soothing ambience :) Not to mention, I adore their beautiful vintage interiors and friendly service!
.
I usually grab coffee here but finally decided to try their lunch menu - "Mushroom Veggie Bowl" ($9.5). It was simple but absolutely delicious - clearly made with fresh ingredients. I liked how it was kept light without adding any overpowering seasoning. I'd love to try other brunch menus next time. .
I kind of don't want this cafe to get any popular than it already is since I want it kept as my secrete haven LOL. Regardless, this venue is definitely worth a visit if you are in the area hoping to escape from your busy life. Too bad they don't open on Sundays - I'd love to sit there for hours with a book :)
Best poke bowl I’ve ever had! Just wished the salmon was more generous!
FOOD: I ordered the Poke Bowl and I also tried the Corn Fritters and Potato Hash and they all were done really well! The food were simple and have Japanese inspired flavours but classic brunch dishes! The Poke Bowl’s salmon was AMAZING and it was truly marinated well while the toppings had flavour and the sauce was good but it was just maybe 5-6 pieces of Salmon for $17 which threw me off slightly but the flavour was truly the winner!
SERVICE: Pleasant!
Very cute place, love siting down here in the morning with all the nature light, the menu was quite interested with some Japanese and Korean style food, the coffee was pretty decent.
A little hidden gem in a quieter part of Carlton, Le Miel Et La Lune is a cute little cafe, with fantastic service and a friendly vibe. The coffee here is really good and the food menu is also top notch.
We often stop in for a quick cuppa and some yummy cake or pastries, which are fresh, tasty and delicious. This is also one of our favourite takeaway coffee places, as the wait isn't long and the coffee is just so good. Not a bad spot if you want to escape the busyness of Lygon Street, but still want great food, coffee and service.
Found this little cafe in Carlton. It was cozy and quiet. Ordered their pork belly hash, corn fritters, chilli scrambled egg, and french toast. At first, I wasn’t expecting much from the dishes, since they didn’t look very unique or ‘instagram worthy’. The pork belly hash was really nice, I loved the sauce and the mushroom. The potato hash was nice and crispy outside. The corn fritters was also really tasty. I liked the fluffy corn fritters, with the sweetness of the corn. Usually not a big fan of tomatoes, but the tomato relish actually a great complement to the dish. Bacon also added a nice saltiness, although I’d like it to be crispier outside. The chilli scrambled egg was probably the least special dish, but I liked the salmon on top, and the scrambled egg wasn’t plain like some I’ve tried at other places. The toast was crunchy, toasted perfectly. Lastly, the french toast, which to be honest I wasn’t excited about due to the pretty sloppy presentation. I expected my french toast to be crispy with a lot of toppings. But this one, it was very fluffy. The toppings were only bacon and banana, with caramel sauce. I loved it so much. The bread was soft, and it really suits well with the caramel sauce, which wasn’t overwhelming at all. The bacon added a nice salty kick to the dish. It was hearty and comforting. Overall, this cafe exceeded my expectation, and I would definitely come back and try their coffee next time.
Pretty cosy place, good environment for student or business people. The Hot Chocolate here is yummmm 😉 strong recommend them. They do have some yum Chocolate cake.
This is a lovely cafe, wonder service and delicious food. We loved the French toast, which was covered with pistachios and butterscotch sauce.
if you are a student at University of Melbourne, it can be a "must go" place for brunch. Only 10 minutes walk from the campus, close to the intersection of Lygon street. You can try the almond latte and here is also a vegetarian-friendly place.
Came here a year and half ago prolly. Pretty sure as well the menu has change. However i really enjoy the savoury dish. And really filling as well! :)
Lovely place for lunch or brunch serving fusion of Korean and western food. I love the salmon dish the most. Nice portion and will always come back.

The first thing that drew my attention was how much bigger the dishes look in real life in comparison to the pictures on their website, which is always a big plus. They all were very delicious, you can definitely feel their efforts in each dish! My favorite is the spicy pork bone stew - it was deep in flavours and came in such a big pot. Noting that the price is on the pricey, but definitely worth it! Oh one down side is that their iced matcha was unfortunately not good...
🇰🇷 hearty korean meals

📝: Carlton’s newest Korean restaurant, housed within the cute little day-time cafe, Le Miel Et La Lune. They’re open every Thursday to Saturday night from 5.30PM-9PM for hearty Korean dishes that will warm you up this winter.
❤️: Could not get enough of the 🥘🐮 Mama’s Soy Bean Stew with house-made soy bean paste, beef, zucchini, tofu, spinach with rice and radish kimchi slaw on the side. The 🐟🍚 Fish Roe on Stone Rice was also delicious, especially when the rice on the side becomes slightly burnt and crispy after served 😍.
Best brioche french toast anyone can ask for. It’s sweet though but the combination of banana on fluffy brioche with bacon to cut through the dense and a pistachio nut glaze just makes this dish go from delicious to dayum!! Also Mork hot chocolate is always a plus compared to other cafes. Definitely worth a visit :)

Very friendly staff but food was a bit slow to come out of the kitchen, despite not many customers dining. Friend ordered the big breakfast but thought it was not big at all, however this did not contribute to the rating.
Absolutely amazing!!! Highly recommended. Great coffee, fantastic food and the service was 100%
