Great place. The food was so so delicious. We came here on a Groupon deal but the owner never for a moment make us felt like a scumbag. We definitely will be back with or without the deal.
Food is amazing most of the time.. When you wanna try the true Middle Eastern food this where you need to go! Can't go wrong with a mix grill plate at Tabouli. Service is usually good even when place is busy on Saturday nights, but outside area gets a bit too busy. Would defiantly recommend.
Just had the most amazing meal and overall experience at Tabouli.
The owners are some of the nicest, most accommodating people you will ever have the pleasure of meeting.
The environment is beautiful, homely and cozy in true authentic Middle Eastern style. And most importantly the food is absolutely to die for. Everything we had was incredible from the entrees to the amazing home made hummus, labane and babba ganoush and of course all the meats and kebabs are cooked and spiced to perfection. We finished it off with some amazing brewed aromatic Turkish coffee. Such a perfect meal, I really can't say enough good things about this place.
I don't eat middle eastern food much due to lack of this style of food near where I live. I was fortunate enough to be taken here by a group of workmates and found the food thoroughly enjoyable. I was told the food taste very authentic (I wouldn't know as I don't eat much), but my favourite was the lamb, juicy and well seasoned, definitely a standout. Next would be the chicken, although a bit dry, it was well marinated and the flavour was just right. The dippings were good too (some were too sour for my taste). Lastly, the kafta was the only meat I did not enjoy, as it was dry and did not suit my taste. The reason I gave it a 3.5 was the price, I think it is over priced for the amount of food it served (I was not even full by the end, and paid almost $40). Service was good (we were a rowdy bunch but they were very accommodating).
The decor is very new. Tables are not too close as in some Lygon restaurants. really nice waiters. The food is fresh and clean, nothing wow, just good traditional middle eastern food.
Come here regularly for shisha and am never disappointed. The owner makes every bit of effort to make you feel comfortable and welcomed as if it were his own house you're visiting. Top notch service.
I've brought friends to this place a few times and they were all happy with the food. For lovers of Middle Eastern food, this restaurant doesn't disappoint. Apart from the food, David the owner, is a young man of Assyrian background who knows how to engage his customers. It is good to support the young people who have the confidence to go into restaurant business.
Went there on a Groupon voucher for six people. The servers were very friendly and went out of their way to serve great food and wine. They even included soft drinks for my kids (despite the voucher saying wine or beer only), they allowed me a choice of beer, and when my wife and mother complained about the red wine they served, they substituted it for another wine which was much more palatable (and left the bottle for us!). Extra bread for the dips when the pitta bread ran out quickly. Outstanding!
Came here for shisha and drinks with friends was great atmosphere and staff were friendly, specially one of the owners who sat with us and had a chat. Didn't try the food but from what I could see from other customers looked delicious. Will be back to try the food.
Wonderful place to eat and have a shisha. Great variety of vegetarian options - melt-in-the-mouth felafel, fabulous baba ganoush, and dishes with Syrian peppers. Professional and friendly service.
