Visited here after work with a few friends using the entertainment voucher, there was only 1 wait staff there at 6pm, and it was very quiet. The food was enjoyable and the highlight was the rose lassi, (i haven't seen this in many restaurants)
We ordered butter chicken, palak paneer, biryani, chilli naan, and garlic naan. The biryani was a small serve for the price
Dined here last Saturday, and this restaurant is an honest effort to do something different. Started by two women friends around 6 months ago, you can see they're eager to please. The food is over 3.5 and I'll readily give a 4 for the effort. The veg platter for 2 is easily good for 3, and you can add any biryani for another $14. Whether the food or the service, they just need a tiny bit more to add a finishing touch to make it come together nicely, and they'll be making their mark as a Lygon St Indian restaurant worth going back to.
Had mix non veg platter and pizza today. I loved the flavours and the spices were so perfect.
Pizza is like I am having in Italian Cuisine it was so perfectly made.

Simply put, a place for amazing authentic Indian cuisine which is well complimented with happy smiling and professional staff. And another great thing is all this at a reasonable price. So I felt a winner and great satisfaction in all departments. Simply put a delight to experience. My new regular go to place now.

亲爱的闺蜜前段时间一直在嚷嚷着想吃印度菜。就在zomato上搜索附近的，刚好看到lygon st上有一家，离我们家也近，就立马走起啦。
中午去的时候没多少人，我们算是第一桌，后面也就陆陆续续来人了，主要就是印度那里的人。server也是一个印度的女士，刚进去的时候背景音乐竟然像那种念经的，听得我都晕晕的。
我们俩每人点了一份，咖喱鸡肉炒饭和一份馕（就是图上面那种饼！）炒饭的味道有点。。interesting，大家可以自己去体会，我只是觉得自己适应不了，感觉略微重口味。馕应该算最好吃的了，虽然它本身没有味道，可以蘸三种不同口味的咖喱吃。
可能是我平时口味比较清淡的，对印度菜还是适应不了。但如果偏爱吃indian food的可能会喜欢这家店～
I have gone floored on this place. I have gone to restaurants with good food. This place is more than good.. it's an experience.
I will go details here. The host is amazing. They make you feel as if you are their invited guest. The ambiance is homely. The silverware and curtlery are classy and not the from the counter. The toilet is also a chic beautiful place.
Now the food. I know that any food will be good in this place. We ordered hariyali paneer tikka and Malia chicken. It tasted heavenly. We ordered missi roti and Shaam Savera.... it's a vegetarian dish with filling of cottage cheese. This is a must must try. We also ordered chicken biriyani... it tastes great as well.
On the whole, we enjoyed the evening and will go back with anyone anytime who wants Indian food at it's best with the very commendable Indian hospitality.
Superb Indian food and they cater for vegetarians. Wonderful thali, best Indian food in Melbourne. The service was friendly and the food arrived hot on a very cold Melboune night.
The food is really really yummy. I strongly recommend this store. This is the second time I went to this store . The food is very authentic, with the Indian spices catching my appetite. Also, they sell very delicious naan.
I have tried masala chicken, garlic naan, spinach and cheese naan and also palak chicken. Give them a try and you will love the authenticity .
The food here was fantastic. Highly recommend the biriyani. Service was severely lacking at the start of the night but picked up towards the end when there were fewer people.

We ordered mushroom and Chapli kebab for starters. They both were good, however chapli kebab is of a different texture here than the usual. For main course, both veg and chicken kathi roll were decent. The menu is priced on a higher side but considering it is located on lygon Street, it was expected.
