Been here a lot since I walk past by here everyday going to school or somewhere else this is my favorite place the staff is so friendly and they will remember you once you come back. There is a lot of sandwiches too choose from. I like there iced coffee too!
Really friendly staff, they really maks an effort to remember their customers. The coffee is fantastic. The food selection is good, standard Cafe type foods. Love coming, always feel welcomed. It's a great place for a chat and some coffee.
It's my local coffee place I've been going to for a while now. I can say the the new manager is fantastic. He's great with names, usual coffee orders and always happy to have a chat.
It's great to see a business with a real understanding of customer service and maintaining uni student friendly prices is hard to come by.

Walking towards the hardware societe, i stumbled upon this cafe and thought i give it a shot. Fortunately, it was awesome! $13.50 for eggs atlantic. The sweetened bread was so good, salad had a nice touch of dressing and the eggs were oozy! Totally recommend! Afterwards i went to the hardware societe and boy am i glad to have already eaten or else i would have to wait an hour for the overhyped cafe that probably costs double.
The food is great and the coffee is good. However the things I like the most about the place is the ambiance. It is really comfy and cozy, it is one of hidden gem around city. The staff is really friendly which is a plus :).
My favorite coffee stop! Chicken schnitzel burger is totally awesome. Tried all the sandwiches as well and my favorite is tandoori. Great and fast service. Too bad not many people know about this place...
Popped by for a relaxing breakfast this morning and had their brekky deal - $8.90 for eggs your way on toast with bacon and a coffee. I was able to swap the bacon for mushrooms. The place has got a simplistic fit-out but comfy enough with quite a number of tables. My cappuccino was quite nice and the mushrooms with my eggs on toast were well-sauteed and seasoned. However, I would've preferred multigrain or sourdough instead of white bread. Eggs were also poached well - runny and gooey yolk, yay. I would gladly return for this brekky deal again or try some of the other options. They also have quick takeaway choices like small salads, sandwiches, wraps etc.
Corner Lane has become one of my favourite place to have brunch with friends and colleagues, or just to have my morning coffee before going to uni. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and it's just the right place for those who love to sit and relax without excessive music or loud chattering.
I personally would recommend soft shell crab with brioche, however, you should try their big breakfast. It has the "right" portion for me; not too much yet it is still big enough to satisfy my hunger. They also serve beautiful cafe mocha (yay!) and yes their ice chocolate is amazing.

This approachable cafe is delightful. Warm atmospheres, cheerish welcomes and amazing plating presentation is the first thing you'll notice. Not to mention the taste, the soft shell crab burger is unique and contemporarily delicious. The grab on dishes such as sandwiches, fruit salad, donuts, and other food you love to fulfill your morning is displayed neatly. My favourite one is chicken avocade sandwich. The bread is toasted perfectly, the chicken is tender, and the avocado melted in your mouth along with the sauce. Last one, the hot chocolate wil always be my drink in this cafe.

I like the environment that clean, bright, warm and cozy.
My favorite meals are big breakfast and mochaccino. But i also can recombine my own breakfast. Not just a boring bacon and egg, but also some stuff that i loved like mushroom and avocado.
The OJ (orange juice), it will never as fresh as the corner lane has!! Love their OJ.
Friendly service. Coffee was great. The amount of chorizos was very generous for the Catalan breakfast. The menu for breakfast wasn’t very extensive though.
Nice food, nice staff and service, overall a nice place; but you are about 100 meters from Hardware street, with nicer ambient and more selection of places and foods.
Loved their lasagna - cheese, bechamel, beef, all tasted excellent, pasta cooked just how I like it, good espresso, and fair prices.
Sorry, guys, did not have picture of food as it been gone too quick, it was so nice! Recommend French Toast with maple syrup and mascarpone.
It was a bit loud with all the road works near by, but quite cosy.

This is the best coffee I have found in Melbourne. Stopped by several times for breakfast as it was well priced and delicious. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating for party dine in (food) and take way (coffee). Well worth a visit if you like great coffee.
Excellent location for breakfast while staying nearby. Great food and friendly staff. Mohammed went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Highly recommended!
Great place to enjoy a meal and take the load off your feet for a bit. Good value for money. Staff a friendly and chilled. Will definitely visit again.
