Just stopped by to have coffee 👌
4/5
Overall a great experience. The food was very good and so was the service.
The eggs were great and the bread aswell. I think the salmon skin could have been a little crispier but it was great overall.
The chorizo and mushroom were delicious 5/5
Definitely recommended !
Excellent quality food for the service and price. Would definitely visit again!
I decided to try Cocobei being new to the area and was pleasantly surprised. I think a lot of food in Docklands gets a bad reputation but it was such a delight to find is gem of a cafe.
It blends traditional cafe food into a fusion of eastern and western cuisine. Absolutely loved the beef club sandwich with its multi layers of flavours. Another hit was the fried chicken burger. It was so crispy and tasty and yet so moist inside and fully cooked.
So glad I found this place and will be back!!
Good portion size and great coffee!
We would suggest that the dishes with avocado to come with lemon and toast to have perhaps some butter!
Overall lovely experience and plus 1+1 zomato sweetened the deal
Will come back for:
+ Ocean sky benedict
+ Fried chicken
On route to Docklands, we popped into Cocobei for a touch of lunch. The food was presented nicely and was generally well balanced and good. We shared a number of dishes including the eggs benedict (this was well balanced, fresh and tasty), the fried chicken (succulent chicken lightly fried), and the fairy fluffy cloud pancakes. The pancakes was my least favourite dish as the pancakes were thick and a little stodgy and I don’t get the idea of putting fairy floss on it. Pricing was fair for what you get and service prompt and friendly. It was pretty well attended on a Saturday lunch service and with limited options in this part of Docklands, I can see how this place is doing so well.
The best I’ve had so far in Docklands! It’s not just the food and decor that’s really good but the staff service is ultra impressive. The staff happily helped us in deciding how to customise our preferred dish into a vegan option and service was very quick. I went for an Escarparo Pasta and got the Salami replaced by mushrooms. It was delightful! My partner went for a Yellow Garden Omelette and got the ham removed, for which the restaurant gave us a discount. We also ordered Grilled Chicken on the side and loved it! The Omelette was filled and fluffy, the chicken was nicely grilled and juicy. The coffee was also refreshing. Overall, it was a great experience.
Really nice cafe with variety of options to choose.

☆彡 Went for Sunday lunch and got indoor seating easily in this medium-sized brunch place that has both indoor and outdoor seating! It’s a simple tram ride from MC to get here :) we ordered: Ricotta on Sweet potato ($18.5), Yellow omelette ($15.5) , cappucino & magic
☆ the good:
- ricotta on sweet potato had nice sauce and worked surprisingly well with the tomato-relish sauce and a generous amount of avocado
- omelette was soo cheesy and filling in size (good value)
- service is really friendly and warm; 5min waiting time
- good, affordable, reasonable-priced menu with lots of other attractive dishes i want to try
- coffees are decent in size with beautiful latte art!!
☆ Not so good:
- only sad thing is sweet potato dish had different temperatures: tomato-relish was cold but sweetpotatoes were warm/hot? Idk small thing?
☆彡 Overall, i would return for a cute brunch place, away from the hustle of the CBD but still of same/better quality brunch (^з^)
Soo... My real rate it’d be 4,5, but I think they deserve the 5 though.
Food: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Service: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Price: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (I came by Zomato gold)
It’s is the second time I’m coming here, and both of the experiences were good so I thought it’d be good write a review (: for a good place in the CBD and it’s in ZOMATO GOLD, I really recommend this place.
Food: I’ve tried quite a few dishes and liked all, but the salmon 🍣 with poached eggs with hollandajse sauce was incredible... specially the hollandaise, which I can tell it was perfect and the best part of the dish! I just loved it! The beef club sandwich 🥪was ok, nothing special. The chia pudding also very good to eat with fresh fruits 🍇, but I recommend to order only if you are really a fan of NOT sweet desserts, because if you’re expecting something sweet, this is not! And also the butter chicken 🍗 was also good, more like an Indian dish, very tasty and flavoured.
Service: very gentle and kind. The place is also nice.
Delicious food with good coffee. Very relaxing and calm atmosphere as well. I liked the different breakfast menu and the operational hours as well. The negative experience was the big gap between the two coffee, my partner and I received the coffee in different time and this wasn't good.
I always try to not judge anyone, so probably happened coz it was Sunday morning mood.
However, this place is highly recommended for everyone to visit it at least well. No ones can be disappointed!
The cafe absolutely had nice ambience to spend your time at, with also good food and coffee. We ordered Ocean Sky Benedict and All Things Nice from the menu, completely enjoyed them. If you're nearby in Dockland, this place is worth visiting.
Modern space which is opposite to district docklands centre. Coffee is stunning and plenty of breakfast items. Ordered omelette and chilli scrambled egg.
Really liked their chilli scrambled eggs and omelette. However, Paella lacked flavours big time and crispy chicken burger was also average.
5/5 for breakfast and coffee but 3/5 for lunch!
Just checked out cocobei and really loved it! The coffee was great and my children loved the babyccino, very generous on marshmallows 😜
I had the avocado on sweet potato and it was absolutely delicious!
I loved how friendly the staff were, they brought us some great kids crockery so I could share my meal, and were very welcoming
This coffee shop recently opened in the New Quay area, just across District Docklands. It becomes a new place to take a coffee before I go shopping! Staff are friendly and efficient. Coffee is good as well. Their mocha latte comes in an environmentally friendly cup made from coffee husks. I also love their dirty chai latte! They've also got latte brewing art classes which I am very interested to join.

Recently opened in the New Quay area, just across District Docklands. Modern environment and they've got a mini private area. Staff are friendly and efficient.
Great flavour to their dishes. I've been here a few times now and they've always delivered. Had the burger and the steak sandwich recently and they were amazing! Coffee is good as well.
Their latte comes in an environmental friendly cup made from coffee husks. I love the effort and money they put in to saving the environment.
They've also got latte brewing art classes which I am very interested to join.
Had the Zen Bowl here and thought it was great. Very light and tasty. Smashed it within 3 mins of arriving in front of me. Lots of things on the menu so would love to come back again to try other food. Didn’t get to order coffee this time but will definitely do it next time.
