Overall it was a half decent Mexican meal. I highly doubt the food here is very authentic, though it was definitely enjoyable regardless.
At this price point, Amigos represents very good value for money for those looking for an more international flavours that won’t break the bank.

I'm pregnant and not eating wild food these days so kind of have to be serious with food and eat what I trust. Had this so many times in and not used delivery but it was great.
The guacamole is really good. So fresh and a bit of tang served with a giant bag of corn chips.
The honey mustard chicken fajitas - what a great idea for something different! So yummy and the spicy rice soaked in the sauce is heaven.
Been enchilada was great too - loved the dill in the mashed potato - never had mash with an enchilada before but this was sensational.
Only thing that wasn't my cup of tea was the beef dip? But weird but would have been better as a filling or something but seriously good food from here.
Just had dinner there and the food was wonderful, with a great balance of spice and piping hot and fresh (especially the burrito). The service was excellent, with a cheery and professional staff, with a special mention to Kevin who is a great host and has great banter with us and other guests. Keep up the good work!
Food and service is incredible!! Food is very delicious and the serving is humongous. It's also promptly served. My favorite is paella- the chicken is cooked just right and the paella is full of flavors. The triple combination dip is also a must try. To finish off, they serve us some sizzling brownies with Kahlua sauce. The place is a must try for every Mexican food lovers. 😊🍽
Food & Service Spot on! The veges, seafood and meat is so fresh and cooked to perfection, with just the right flavour........our fav mexican eatery. Classy, relaxed, welcoming and of course the best Mexican food in town!
Never have I ever had a Prawn & Seafood Fajjita so good! The creamy white sauce wasn't too heavy and was lip smacking good. My theory on food is a couple of fresh n juicy prawns can bring any dish to life. Well this wasn't just alive it was roaring with character! Well done Amigos!

I came here last night with my friend and we well and truly enjoyed the food here. Very good atmosphere and very nice decor also. Service was outstanding and the sangria went down like a treat. I'll defiantly be back here.

My friend and I got the cheese, salsa and gauc dips. Cheese and gauc were very yum.
I got the vegetable burrito which tasted nice, but was surprisingly a bit sweet. Although, I don't mind as I have a sweet tooth. I think the filling used fresh vegetable which was great to see.
Burrito was a gigantic portion, and also came with rice and black beans on the side!
The sizzling brownie was definitely the highlight
Really GREAT Mexican food! Everything is full of flavour and generous servings! Staff are super helpful and on the ball! Highly recommend for a Sunday lunch in Spring!
Tonight I celebrated my birthday at Amigos along with a few of my closest friends, the service was just FANTASTIC!
The staff were so friendly and helpful with all the food selection, they were so professional with their customer service. The food was just AMAZING, couldn't fault it one bit. My favorite dish for the night was the chicken and mushrooms bruito. My friends and I were so full and satisfied by the time we left the restaurant.
I would have to say this was by far the best customer service I've received from any restaurant in a very long time.
Thanks to the entire team at Amigos for making my birthday dinner so wonderful and memorable.
I'm totally lost for words after reading the poor reviews on here, I've been going there for a number of years and the food has always been fantastic and I've taken many friends too and we all agree it's got to be one of the best Mexican restaurants in Melbourne,
The staff have always been helpful when I turn up with a few friends without a booking and we always get a table after a short wait.
I'm going back there on Saturday and I'm confident it will be another great meal.

Ommmmmmg! The best tacos everrrr. I go for lunch sometimes to get the $5 tacos. The beef is so tender, juicy and yummy. Perfect flavor. Outstanding guys! One of new spots. The music is also on point! You need to go.
We went a few months ago and had the most divine drink with wine, fruit, ice OMG so lovely :) and then nachos with chicken and a friend beef, they were uber tatsy fresh, salty cheesy very naughty but o so nice and could not fit another thing in so decent size meal too .., service was more than fine - I am going back with the same group as last time and we are all really looking forward to it! especially for the drinks no the nachos no the drinks - BOTH!!
look its no Masterchef dining affair but its good go once and you'll want the nachos again and again
