Came here with my family for a cheap Friday night feast! The kebabs were delicious, plenty well seasoned meat, salad and dips. Will definitely visit again.
Great family run kebab joint. never been disappointed with great hsps and kebabs and friendly and attentive owner who is interested in the customer's feedback. Could be a little more reasonably priced especially the hsp but I believe it is worth it.
Great little kabab shop! Came here on a quiet nice and ate in. Owner was super friendly which was a refreshing change that he genuinely cared about his customers. Had the lamb kebab with greek salad and pumpkin soup with turkish bread. Soup and bread were both very good, serving sizes were decent and very filling. Only thing is lamb was a bit burnt and tasteless and store could do with a bit of a makeover as the decor is a bit off-putting to me. Would definitely come back as all the other menu items look delicious. Maybe a bit on the pricer side for kebabs but it's south melbourne. To be expected.

Kebabs on Clarendon
Heading on down Clarendon Street en-route to a work function and came across Kebabs on Clarendon. Perfect opportunity to experience the rage that is Halal Snack Pack.
Sign: 3/10 - Impressive signage overall for the shop, but only a small sign in the window positioned for people walking by, promoting the HSP. Not sure you would see this from the road driving by, however extra point for lamination and presentation.
Greeting: 10/10 - very friendly team on board tonight, and welcomed with the usual "Hello Bud, What can I do for you? Would you like the Small or Large, and What kind of Meats? Would you like the Three Sauces? Any Drinks Today?". I ordered the Large Combination HSP with the Holy Trinity & Can of Coke.
Chips: 9/10 - Chips were crisp and well salted to taste. All chips were hot, golden and crunchy, blending in well with the combination Cheese, Meats and Sauces.
Meat: 7/10 - Opted for a large combination Chicken and Lamb. Both Chicken and Lamb were tender, although there was probably more Lamb than Chicken. Meat had been pre cut, awaiting the grilling for extra crispness which was welcomed, however could have done with some larger shavings. Zero oil residue in the bottom of the pack.
Cheese: 7/10 - Topped with an adequate serving of Cheese to Meat/Chip/Sauce ratio, combining together the many great flavors.
Sauce: 7/10 - Ordered the Holy Trinity (Garlic, BBQ & Chilli). Chilli had a sweet kick to it, combining the BBQ & Garlic Sauces to ensure the correct balance.
Packaging: 10/10 - Standard Styro served on a Plastic Red Tray (Dine In), with Metal Knife and Fork. Adequate Serviettes provided.
Price: 8/10 (today) - $15 for a Large Halal Snack Pack, Can included for $18. Usually $18.50.
Overall 8/10 - For the experience. First HSP I've ever had, but certainly left a great first impression and solid serving for a main meal. I've spent more on Burgers and Kebabs before, leaving disappointed, so the HSP was great value and experience IMHO. Judging on the photos I have seen from other nearby venues, please pay Kebabs on Clarendon a visit, and take the time to enjoy the meal In-House...
Great HSP's, haven't tried anything else and probably never will because the HSP's are so damn tasty. Really nice employees too. Good pricing. Will definitely be back many times, nice work guys.
Great kebabs. Proper meat, not the processed stuff that is shaved off in long strips. Not greasy either. We really enjoyed our lamb kebabs, I just wished they toasted the turkish bun a wee bit. Will ask for the wrap next time instead of the bun. Generous portions of meat and I asked for extra garlic sauce which they happily provided. Service is genuinely friendly, portions are large for fair prices, and whilst we ordered take-away, it's also a nice place to sit in.
Home delivery kebabs have become a regular occurrence at our house. We have the mixed kebabs, chips and the mixed grill most often. I can recommend them all because they've been consistently good quality, tasty and quick delivery.
YUMMMM! BEST kebabs I've had in a longgggg time, possibly ever! Super tasty, super tender and the team here are absolutely fantastic to say the least. We are only staying in city for a short time but will happily drive the almost hour trip from home to come here. Great place - keep it up guys! Ash :)
I was in the mood for a nice souvlaki or doner kebab. The memories of Yarralumla Pide House were lingering and making me salivate. I was working night shift so needed something relatively quick. A search of Footscray came across an extraordinarily highly rated Footscray's Best Kebab House (no fooling you in the name) but I didn't have the time to walk. Instead I found a South Melbourne store that was semi enroute with a drive.
This lamb kebab with lots of fillings. The meat was savoury and very juicy which tastes good but can be very messy to eat. You'll need to take extra care while eating it.
Excellent service and decent kebab, could have a little more meat and salad though. Happily go back.

Some of the friendliest family style service we have ever experienced. A solid selection of Turkish dishes, headed up with the ubiquitous lamb kebabs.
Given my recent foray into a ketogenic diet, I opted for the unlisted "keto bowl": salads of your choice topped with grilled lamb & chicken. It couldn't be faulted and I highly recommend it!
Was a near perfect experience from when I entered the shop, until I left. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the owner went above and beyond with my order making sure everything was fresh. Food was so tasty. Would highly recommend this place for anyone after a kebab!
