Food is good but meals are not hot. Meals need to be hot and fresh. We ordered alu bonda ..they were fresh and hot. However, will go back again and recommend this place to the people who miss madras mess food.
Came here for Banana leaf meal but it was not available. Bit disappointed, however the food is not. South Indian thali is homely. Panniyaram is not common in India restaurant in Melbourne, it is available here. When I ordered, he told me it takes time and it was. Worth waiting. Not great interior but good service.
Great place to have simple healthy food. Economical and quantity of the dish is perfect. Staffs need to be bit more responsive. South Indian and the other Thali meal is the speciality of this restaurant. Altogether 4.5/5.
An authentic South Indian eatery right in the main street of Noble Park. Food is consistently delicious, quick and great value. Highly recommend the Mysore masala dosa and the spicy paniyaram. Also the filter coffee is great.
It is a vegetarian restaurant and the the food is quite nice. I am being a non veg, enjoyed the food and would highly recommend it. The prices are very reasonable and the quality is like home cooked south Indian meal
We came here after coming across their outlet in a Carnatic music concert. First of all the food is so affordable and of high quality. When I read the reviews I was a bit anxious as many complained that there was a long waiting time. However, I found that their food was prepared fresh and that’s why it took time.
Honestly I didn’t mind the waiting time because the food reminded me of home and even the idlys and milkshake were freshly prepared which often isn’t the case today.
Unpretentious, simple, flavoursome, and the price-value equation in the patrons' favour.
Thought I would duck out for lunch while working from home today. Thought I would try a place with no meat on the menu leaving me at the mercy of the Vegan gods.
First tried Chilli Bajji and if you enjoy chillies overall this was really good and the green chillies fresh.
Next I tried a dish I had not before: South Indian Thali with variety rice (chose lemon rice & Sambar rice). Gourd was cooked well with turmeric and tamarind. Rices were enjoyable and even the dessert (Rava Kesari) - a sweet semolina based offering was good.
The place was clean and had about 7 people today (Thursday @ 12.00) - seats about 20 max. Served by one of the owners who was helpful in menu selection as well tips on how to eat the Bajji (go for hands/fingers). Have also attached the take-away menu.
We had an absolutely delicious meal here. The food was freshly cooked and very tasty. Tried paniyaram for the first time and it was amazing.
Food: had the all you can eat banana leaf rice which was tasty. Ate with my hands! However they’ll pile your plate up with rice to make you full so you wouldn’t ask for the other side dishes.
Service: waited for about 15 minutes for food to arrive.
Price: I found it to be quite expensive for vegetarian banana leaf rice at $17. I would probably come more often if it were less than $15.
I had been this place along with my friend. I ordered South Indian Plate meal and he ordered variety rice meal. His plate looks colorful and he said the rices taste very different. He is not able to explain. I tried it ,Yup, unique taste and lovely especially the tamarind one. Many cups in my plate and was wondering where to start. The gentleman who served took time to explain me. I forgot everything when I had puffed bread with potato curry. Awesome. The masala butter milk is also very unique. They do not serve meet ;-( .
Best restaurant for authentic and affordable South Indian vegetarian cuisine. Being a Mumbaikar I was keen to find a restaurant which serves Mumbai's authentic vada pav and bhaji pav, so far the potato bhaji served at this restaurant has been close enough in terms of taste. Plain dosa was bigger in size and came with a good amount of my favourite coconut chutney.
The best place for Authentic South Indian food near Glen waverly, Dandenong, Nobel park, Springvale area.
The dosa’s were crisp, tasty and delicious.
The idly was soft and tasty and the Medu vada was amazing too..
All in the food is Authentic, economical and delicious.
It’s the best spot for South Indian food lovers

Best South Indian taste in Melbourne, I am expecting more quick eatery stalls like this in Melbourne. Hope the owners can open several branches in future. Perfect menu with all varieties, food is well taken care and maintained, always served hot. Reasonable price. Good ambience. Place is neat. It scores in all areas. Kudos to the passion of the madam who is single handedly running the show in kitchen.
Essence speaks everything here…Had a wonderful breakfast with crunchy vadaa & dosa along with soft idli’s. delicious food with very affordable prices and pleasant service. If you Love Indian breakfast then you must give a try…..😋😋
Travelled long distance this morning to taste some of the south indian breakfast dishes Not at all disappointed .The crispy raw banana bhaji and the chutney my favourite.
Well done masala vada. Also the long mirchi well fried till the last bit of the stem. Not to forget the humble meduvada good size. Finally ended up with an original south indian thali with no complaints. If you do happen to be near Noble park area any time do try here.
