Very nice food and service. Tried the beetroot croquettes, grilled lamb and kerala veg curry. Would definitely visit again in future.
Our experience at Food Tales was nothing short of amazing. Naveen was an incredibly passionate host, who explained in full detail the origins of some of the dishes on his menu. Usually my partner and I are quick to choose dishes to order, however the detail of dishes on the menu are described so intricate, everything sounds delicious. Itβs hard to choose! Noticing this, Naveen kindly allowed us to choose several entrees, which were served on a platter. Stand outs from the entree were certainly the arancini, beetroot croquette and satay chicken skewers.
Our highlight for mains was the chicken tikka masala pizza, thin crispy crust with a drizzle of tandoori mayo (I would come in just for that mayo). This pizza is reminiscent of the kind of pizzas you would get in your local pizza joint in India.
The meal was then finished off with house made sticky date pudding. Best way to finish off the meal.
100% recommend Food Tales to anyone with a fussy eater, there is something for everyone here.
Outstanding. We will be back! Delicately spiced Indian/Italian/Greek fusion. Beetroot croquettes and carrot pudding are winners both originating from Calcutta.
Great place! Terrific use of herbs and spices to create twists on traditional dishes. Parma and pasta just won't be the same after being here. Navine is a great host and it's true; he can tell you many interesting stories about food (if you wish to hear them, of course). Personal service will cater to specific dietary or taste requirements if they can be accommodated. Great value.... definitely recommended... you won't be disappointed.

Came here tonight with my boyfriend and shared a butter chicken, spag bol and mud cake for dessert, all of which were absolutely scrumptious. Best of all is the service of the chef/waiter who so obviously demonstrated genuine care for all of his patrons, spending time to understand their personal preferences to incorporate into his cooking and challenging me to try something new - I will most certainly come back and do so!
Thanks Zomato Gold for introducing this little gem to me. An awesome way to end my night and left me feeling in such good, well-fed spirits. 10/10.
An absolute hidden gem where one can find great recipes in fusion with different cuisines. We had Butter chicken parma, white sauce penne pasta and both these dishes were mouth watering and super delicious. A complementary bruschetta was icing on the cake. Chef Naveen is really amazing and respects everyoneβs personal taste and endeavors to add that touch. Absolutely loved coming here.
