Can’t vouch for the sushi here but really enjoyed my quick snack of a teriyaki chicken skewer which was ultra tender and quite chunky for all of $3.40. Enough to keep me going through the end of financial year sales.
It’s hard to find a good tasting vegetarian sushi in Melbourne. But O Bento would offer you just that! I had an avocado sushi and it tasted so fresh and delicious! I’m a regular at O Bento Melbourne Central!
A pack of gyozas for $7.70 I think. An ok filling lunch but if you get the gyozas at the right time - when they have just finished making it, then it is Soo good! The bottom part is still crispy and crunchy and filled with juicy hot meat. Delicious with the sauce.
The Don is big enough for me. Delicious but greasy. A little bit more people at lunchtime but won’t wait too long. Worth to have a try. Kind of Japanese cuisine but not an authentic one.
Amazing flavors! I always try value for money lunches and the set menus here never disappointed. Noodles and rice cooked to perfection. Bento Set 1 rocks. No pics this time as all the plate is wiped clean.
A great place to get a japanese food in town! I order chicken fried rice and it taste sooooo good... the portion is so big hahaha i ate it with my mom and we still cant finished it lol😂 i recommed this place
One of the busiest sushi chains in the Melbourne Central food court!
I got one of their display bentos and it was pretty nice! The sushi itself wasn't bad, but the highlight was definitely the katsu chicken. It was so crispy and tender, I could eat another box of them. I do believe my bento box was one of the fresher ones so it was nicer, but it really depends on your luck whether you find yourself a fresh one.
Overall, this is a really reliable place for sushi and it does show that with the amount of people that come here!
A great place to get some Japanese Pre-prepped fast food sushi, Egg Fried Rice, various chicken & Pork dishes to accompany.
What I go for has always been for the Egg Fried Rice with Miso Chicken, which is the best & has, will always be my favourite.
Nice service, fast service and always look after customers. I had pork ksatu Dan, cheap and a lot and Yummy. Thank you for made my brunch so nice. :)
I have heard O-Bento sells the Unagi Don is really good. After the class, I am expected to order one. It looks delicious. It has egg, onion, carrots, the pickled radishes and eel on rice. The eel tastes great with special sauce. I have taken away. They gave me a lot of sources. I really like it, because when I eat the eel don, I need to make sure enough sauce on my eel. It will eat with different taste and feeling. Once you eat a piece of eel, you feel satisfied with you taste. And then you try egg with vegetables, it tastes good. However, if you eat a lot, you will feel greasy. They provide the pickled radish to fresh you mouth and reduce the greasy feeling. The only thing I am unhappy is the rice they give me which is half warm and half cold. It tastes really wired and influences the taste.
Found this place on a random and the Bentos are surprisingly very delicious. At a good price and portion too.
Ordered the Gyu-Tan Don for a dinner takeaway and tastes awesome. I’d love to come back to try the other bento menus.
Tried chicken teriyaki and it was very good . Quantity was enough to over stuff stomach at lunch . Crowded at lunch time however service is quick
The serving size are pretty big, really great value and good quality. I ordered a teriyaki don beef, and it took about 3 min to come out. Good taste and good amount.
