One of the best Laksas we have ever had for sure along with the lip smacking Wasabi Prawns! We were delighted to have each and everything we had ordered and were equally happy with the service.

We had ordered the Wasabi Prawns, Pork Spring Rolls and Pan Fried Pork Dumplings for starters with Iced Teh Tarik and Malaysian Iced Coffee to drink. Each and everything was delicious, specially the Wasabi Prawns (will go back specifically for this dish) while the pork spring rolls were amazingly crispy outside and loaded with tasty filling inside. The dumplings were really good as well.

We had ordered Chicken Laksa and Combination Laksa for mains and both the varieties were out of the world!

Special mention for the amazing service we received while seated upstairs.

Must try place in Melbourne if you like Malaysian food 😃

My score 4.0 stars (avge of 2 visits). J and I had our first lunch out post CV19 closures on Fri 5th June. Plenty of spacing and staff were good.

Nasi lemak w chicken curry ($13.80) – Flavoursome curry, plenty of boneless chicken, fried egg, good ikan bilis, no sambal (but really nice Achar made up for this).
Combination Laksa sans chicken ($12.80) – Tasty as! Great value, plenty of seafood but not much veg other than eggplant & beanshoots.

May 2019. Staff nice, nice plates, spacious, could get noisy when full. Small place, more upmarket than LK. You order via a touchscreen pad.

Peking duck buns ($11.80) - 2 smallish steamed buns. Nice duck – prob prefer trad pancakes. Overall, very sweet & prob a bit expensive.

Vego Laksa ($12.80) - Eggplant, Purple cauli, White cauli, Green cauli, Carrot, Tofu, Broccoli, Beanshoots, Snowpeas, Corn, Fried shallots, Mushrooms. Spicy creamy soup. Reg = Large is a big big serve & good value!

Fried Kuay Teow ($14.80) - Reasonable char. Noodles chopped and separate (nice). Beanshoots, Chicken, 4 prawns, Fishcake, Tiny bit of spring onion. Nice chilli level but no lup cheong. A little bit overpriced IMO.

Honestly, partner and I loved it! Just as good as Laksa King! Love that you got to choose the laksa sizes, I’m pretty little so sometimes the really big sizes can be hard to finish. Also must say some of the best duck I’ve had in a while. It was fresh and delightful to eat!

A nice and cosy restaurant. Same as laksa king but with more variety. Lovely staff.

The salted egg prawns were amazing. So crisp and flavoursome with the most juiciest prawns.

The chicken curry laksa is staple. Not too spicy and a generous amount of noodles and tender chicken.

Char kwey teow was nice and oily, well uncharred but the noodles were still hard.

Laksa King Kitchen in Flemington was super impressive when we visited with a bunch of friends recently. Everything was scrumptious with lots of bold, delicious Asian flavours. There was a wide variety of dishes in their menu.

Service was outstanding - polite, efficient and nothing was too much trouble. I loved the hanging plants upstairs which just added to the vibrant yet homey feel.

We had a range of hawker dishes. From laksa to char kuay teow to gado gado. The chicken rice was lovely and came with all the prerequisite sauces. Loved the 3-colour drink which was not overly sweet.

Laksa King Kitchen was everything we hoped for in a restaurant.

For something hailed as the 'best laksa in Melbourne', I was a little disappointed. Definitely a good laksa, don't get me wrong! But it wasn't mind-blowing, nor even the best laksa I've had - even Auckland has better laksa. Overall, a great bowl of laksa, but lacking a bit of complexity. Big portion though!

Friendly staff and prompt service, also a clean and well lit restaurant to dine in. Great value with big serving size and fresh ingredients. The harmee came with fresh juicy prawns and flavourful soup whilst the curry laksa was a great combination of chicken breast, seafood, and greens in a delicious creamy and spicy curry soup just like how we prefer our laksa. Definitely recommend the laksa here!

Tasty!! Not as crowded as the other one around the corner but still delicious and the decor is much nicer here. Opening hours are a bit different to the other Laksa King too so sometimes if that one is closed this is a wonderful alternative.

Came here at 11:30am in the morning as I've walked past this place many times and not been able to get a table due to how busy the place is,

The prices are moderately cheap,

I noticed they do truffle oil duck fried rice, and tamarind confit duck after I ordered the combination Laksa, so I'll definately go back to this place to try these dishes out. The food came out quickly, within 10 minutes of ordering, and the staff are friendly

When most people think of Flemington, they mention the racecourse or Laksa King. And there's a good reason why. Laksa King is simply amazing. Great variety of delicious Malaysian food and drinks at reasonable prices and big serves. Service is fast and friendly. Try their famous laksas which are perfect for cold winter days.

I don’t think I have to say anything. The reviews speak for themselves!! This was an efficient vibrant busy Tasty pleasant experience. The staff were 1000% helpful and friendly. The ordering process was not clear to me at first but after a while I saw how it worked and ordered in store but online. Very efficient. The food was first clean and really nice. I will be going back to sample as many items as I can. Overall a great experience and highly recommended

I dined here back when they opened and can only say it’s even better now. Perfectly balanced spices in the curry laksa. Nice little touches and hearty portions to fill and warm even the hungriest. Friendly staff. Quick and easy. Thanks for looking after us.

My work colleague Jack has rated you highly, so I was keen to try this place out. I opted for takeaway as my colleague was on his way into work. The Laksa Chicken curry was the recommended order, along with an added serve of rice. Certainly enough food for two meals, but I did it in one. The takeaway concept was add your sauce to the dish. The noodles and chicken along with curry sauce were all a pleasant delight. Good tasty food for a good price. Order can be done via app and customer service is good, I am told.

Beautifully done laksa’s and a good variety of Malaysian food that you can choose from. The place is always full, we went for a weekend for dinner and were able to get a table pretty quickly than compared to our previous experiences. The laksas are delicious. The nasi lemak and the nasi goreng options are good as well. We have tried a almost all of the laksa options and vegetarian and chicken curry have been the best liked for us. We like the nasi goreng as well, do not forget to request sambal to go along with this. Not a big fan of the drinks menu

Place to be in Melbourne for tasty, mouthwatering Laksa! We’ve been coming here for years but due to Covid and kind of living faraway, it really took us a while to come back here. I’m happy that the flavour of their laksa is still consistent. We always get the roasted duck laksa with extra eggplant and this time we tried the beef laksa which was really good as well! The serving of their laksa is quite big so 3 of us shared 2 servings but then again, if you’re a big eater 1 bowl of it will definitely make you satisfied!! 10 out of 10 Goodness!!!! 🍜🍜🍜🍜🍜🍜🍜🍜🍜🍜

Yummmm laksa sooo good! The curry chicken with roti is also good. If dining in, there's a limit of 1 hr so you pretty much eat and go! Service is quick and the place is pretty noisy as it's always packed, so not really a place you can sit and chit chat for hours.
