A couple of weeks ago I had a craving for Thai, and because there is so many options in the Richmond/Abbotsford area I did a fair bit of research before deciding on a restaurant.
The Seasoning House won out and I was not disappointed!
I ordered beef massaman curry, coconut rice & roti bread. The curry was probably the best massaman curry I’ve ever had - rich with flavour and cooked beautifully. The sweet potato in this dish adds an extra sweetness to the meal.
The coconut rice and roti was also good. The serving size for the roti was very generous (enough for 2-3 people if sharing).
This restaurant seems very popular as a lot of people were collecting take away orders while I waited for mine.
Excellent value for money and there are other items on the menu I’ll be trying in the future!
Awesome thai food! I tried the prawns pad thai and it was not only yummy but also a decent portion. They were respecting the distancing rules and service was pretty good.

We love this place for its fresh food, excellent service and delicious Thai milk tea! We have tried a few Thai restaurants in the area and have to say the Seasoning House offers the best quality food. It’s spacious and very clean, great for family with kids. Will definitely come back!
Food was fresh and staff was excellent.
Just had dinner here tonight, and would definitely recommend that anyone in the area give this place a go. Not only is the food delicious, but that staff are really kind and accomadating, and the space is warm and beautiful. Ample words to describe the food would have to be perfectly balanced, light yet packed with flavour and good hearty portions for the prices offered. Personally recommend getting the beef soup and aracini balls!
The seasoning house is new Thai street food on Victoria street,Richmond. Our dinner is great. We order grilled pork ,crispy duck red curry and prawns tom yum soup.All dishes were full of flavour and staff was friendly. price is reasonable and affordable. Highly recommend for delicious Thai food.
Location was quiet easy to find just on Victoria street. Stopped by earlier today and enjoyed three shared dishes. Ordered pad Thai, Tom yum and green curry served by a very friendly staff member. Tom yum was slightly watered down but still managed to provide the right balance of flavour. However, the green curry was a little more disappointing missing a lot of the flavour. I'd recommend using more coconut milk and green chilli to get that rich green color in the paste.
The feedback I got from my guest on the Pad Thai was great.
Worth mentioning that the customer service made our experience really enjoyable.
The price was reasonable, bill coming up to around 50 AUD.

Dined solo tonight. Ordered a spicy pad Thai. Ingredients were fresh, large serving size and noodles were full of flavour. Beer was only $4.90 with happy hour throughout dinner time! Would come again!
Phenomenal meal and great flavours. The food here is up there with the best. Great amounts of herbs and spices in their meals the holy basil and chili dishes were well balanced flavours and the crispy pork was cooked to perfection. Some great drink deals here $4 beers before 9:30pm. Super friendly staff
Feels like being on holiday!
We had a very positive experience at this restaurant today in terms of service and food. The waitress was polite and attentive to our needs and showed she cared. The tables and tableware was nice and clean and the food was excellent in terms of flavor, freshness and taste. This restaurant will become my default place when I crave Thai food. I am a very happy customer.
Wow, had an outstanding meal here this evening. The best Thai food I have had in a very long time - flavoursome and fresh. The prawns were huge and perfectly cooked. The service was so kind and sincere, everything is so clean and organised too! I will definitely be back.
