Review Good Nights - Melbourne

Shweta Leonard
Dined for lunch before watching the Top Dog festival at nearby Astor theatre. We shared the fried chicken wings, betel leaf lamb, pork & prawn spring rolls & shaking beef. All the food was well presented & tasty with good flavours. Our waiter was friendly. Will return to try other menu items.

We have been here twice now. My friend said this might be his new favourite restaurant. The food was delicious and fresh. Everything we had was spectacular. When you order rice paper rolls they give you a platter of ingredients and you make them yourselves which was great. We were served by a girl called Shi who was fantastic and very attentive. The decor is really great, upmarket but not fussy.

The service at Good Nights is of a good standard. We sat outside and had the heater kindly switched on for us, water was refilled throughout the meal by the waiters and we were considerately given chili for our orders of pho. The waiting staff were very friendly and pleasant to boot. Even if you aren't vegetarian, the Mushroom Pho will not disappoint. The moment it was severed out, you could take in the aromatics. It smelt good and fresh. Mushrooms were cooked to perfection and were very flavourful. Broth itself was delicious. Would totally order again! If you want to treat yourself to some delicious Vietnamese food after a long work week or otherwise then Good Nights is the place for you! (Their drinks are a treat too!)

Another Risk which was worth the celebration. From packaging to flavours to delivery, everything was prompt. Char Kway Teow was the king among everything else.

This meal was absolutely fantastic. One of the best meals I have had in Melbourne in a long time. The food was so delicious and the Variety was great. The cocktails were very yummy too. We will definitely be back :)

Had a delicious dinner at Good Nights last night! Great casual atmosphere, such friendly staff. They gave us great advice when ordering and we had a perfect amount of food. Literally every item was 10/10, fresh, tasty, spicy, different. Absolutely can’t wait to go again.

Marvellous setting. Food was lovely and fresh. Great service from the staff. Two thumbs up.

Blown away! The food here is exceptional.. every meal had SO much flavour and ingredients, so fresh. All the staff were incredibly friendly as well. I will be coming back here regularly to try absolutely everything. The XO rice cakes and noodles were an absolute stand out!
Hello. Imnikki
Good Nights is located on the quieter end of Chapel Street on Windsor, but the lack of foot traffic does not mean this place is not popular. Tables started filling up around peak dinner hours, and once you try the food, it’s no surprise while. <br/><br/>The Vietnamese-centric menu showcases a variety of common Vietnamese dishes, but with a twist. The Moreton Bay Bug Glass Noodles and Special Pho with bone marrow and ox tail takes these traditional dishes to another level. The juicy Moreton bay bugs were a delight to eat, and broth of the Special Pho oozed a depth of flavour that makes you slurp up every last drop. For a lighter option, the Calamari and Papaya Salad presented itself to be a flawless palate cleanser with its fresh and bright flavours. The Pipis with Chinese doughnuts came with a sauce that is rich, savoury and bold. <br/><br/>Dessert is a must and the Banana Fritters was just fantastic. The shredded coconut added a crispy and nutty taste to the crispy batter, and you can hear a crunch with every bite. Cocktails are also a must order here. Delicious and the perfect accompaniment to the meal.<br/><br/>With its casual tropical vibe, delicious food and amazing service, you’ll definitely be guaranteed a good night here!

Located a few steps from the Windsor station is this amazing Vietnamese fusion restaurant that serves up a storm when it comes to flavours. Walk into a bright and colourful setting with nice floral theme table cloth. Love the touch of colors used for the décor.<br/><br/>The menu is separated to the various sections where you have your entrees, salads, rice paper rolls, the larger dishes and street food. Took us awhile to decided on what to order as we everything on the menu sounded really good. We finally decided on the special pho with the bone marrow, Calamari and Papaya Salad, Moreton Bay Bug Glass Noodles and the Pipi’s with fried doughnut.<br/>For drinks, I had the Strawberry Sour and a Watermelon cocktail. The cocktails were very light and refreshing and it complemented the flavours in our mains.<br/><br/>The dishes had a reasonable portion and is perfect for sharing. The calamari and papaya salad was very refreshing and the flavours were good. There was a nice balance between the acidity and the mint gives it the extra flavor. We really enjoyed both the Glass noodles and the Special Pho. The special pho was something different, the broth was very rich with flavours and the bone marrow was such a brilliant idea. It is very different and is definitely not your ordinary pho. I love the slightly charred flavours in the glass noodles and the moreton bay bug was nicely seasoned. The pipi’s with fried doughnut was a smart dish, I love how the doughnut sticks was in a nice size and you get to dip them in the sauce with pipis. <br/><br/>For dessert, we ordered the banana fritters to share and I really enjoyed the flavours. The batter was light and not too heavy and it was not overly sweet which makes it a lovely sweet ending to the meal. The staff were very attentive and friendly and they were constantly going to each tables to make sure everything was in order and that their customers are enjoying their meals which really makes a difference all together.

4.5. This place had colourful floral table cloths and very spacious! It's certainly not your usual Vietnamese restaurant - it's one done with a modern twist!<br/><br/>We started off with a TEPACHE MATE - which was a house fermented pineapple juice infused with ginger, spices and yerba mate. Very interesting and refreshing! There's no alcohol in this drink.<br/><br/>Our entrees are:<br/><br/>-SPRING ROLLS WITH BERKSHIRE PORK AND PRAWN: Really crispy and hot spring rolls which came with the traditional lettuce and mint leaves to wrap it in, and dip in fish sauce. Really yummy!<br/><br/>-CRISPY TUMERIC AND COCONUT MINI PANCAKES WITH ROASTED TARO AND CHARRED CORN - This looked really cute! They look like crispy little muffins with a lot of toppings! You can also wrap these in lettuce and mint leaves and dip in fish sauce. Definitely need to try this dish out!<br/><br/>Our mains:<br/><br/>MORETON BAY BUG - with glass noodles, moreton bay bug, chicken, black fungus and onion. I really like the tender and soft moreton bay bug in this dish! The glass noodles went so well with it as it soaked up all the juices from the meat! Delicious!<br/><br/>'SHAKING' BEEF - wok tossed eye fillet, hand-cut chips and watercress - This was some really flavourful tender eye fillet. I think it was a bit too salty for my tastes but when you eat it with the chips, it really balances out the flavour.<br/><br/>For dessert, we had BANANA FRITTER - the batter was thick and coated the banana well. Not oily at all and sprinkled with sesame seeds on top. The ice cream was cold and matched really well with the hot banana fritter. Love this dish!<br/><br/>Thank you for a great night, Good Nights Windsor!
Quince And Cheese
One of my new favourite spots on Chapel. The space is adorable and food is incredible, featuring very traditional Vietnamese dishes with a contemporary spin rather than the fussy fusion dishes a lot of restaurants in the area lean on. The steamed rice rolls are a must try and have the most delicious sauce. I also love the taro, corn and coconut pancakes which are relatively difficult to find in inner city Melbourne. For a main, I tried the curry which comes with rice and is pretty good value for money, with a nicely flavoured base and generous amount of veg. The drinks list is refined, featuring craft beer and natural wine and great cocktails. Such a great addition to the neighbourhood.

You are absolutely guaranteed a good night (or day) dining at this wonderful Windsor establishment. This modern Vietnamese restaurant is so much fun, from it's kitschy decor, it's epic drink selection, amazing food and fantastic, hospitable staff. <br/><br/>Walking in to this open fronted restaurant, you are met with a room full of tables covered in bold floral plastic tablecloths, pink palm trees and a long bar area. The atmosphere alone encourages you to have a great time. Greeted by friendly staff, we are soon settling in with some fantastic wine and beer offerings, while our waiter talks us through the menu. As it was a balmy Summer's night, we opted for some of the lighter dishes, and they definitely didn't disappoint. <br/><br/>First up was the Cuu La Lot, Betel leaf lamb skewers that were fragrant and aromatic, and melted in the mouth. The accompanying sauce was sensational, so much so that we kept it around for all of our dishes. Next up was Banh Khot, mini puffed pancakes topped with prawn and fish roe. Accompanied by lettuce, these small morsels are wrapped in the lettuce, and dipped in a spicy but sweet chilli sauce. Sublime. The prawns were a generous size, the lettuce was so crisp, and the savoury pancakes were a delight. <br/><br/>We then transitioned onto two larger dishes. The Bahn Cuon was two steamed rice rolls filled with grilled eggplant and shitake mushrooms. This unusual dish was jam packed full of flavour, and the soft noodle casing was the perfect vessel for these moreish flavours. Next we tried the Bo Tai Chanh, an exquisite Vietnamese beef carpaccio. This was probably my favourite dish of the night, as the thinly sliced beef was so tender, and the zesty lime dressing had a good kick, and was just so light and refreshing. One of the best carpaccios I've ever had. <br/><br/>We were recommended the Com Ga Dac Biet for our main, and we thoroughly enjoyed this family style chicken dish. The platter was filled with a half roasted succulent chicken, homemade pickled vegetables, charred cos lettuce and a green onion emulsion. On the side was a gleaming bowl of rice topped with potato chips. This was such a generous plate of food, and perfect for sharing. The chicken was so juicy, with perfectly crispy skin and the lettuce, with it's charred flavour was also fantastic. The pickles and emulsion added lots of flavour and texture, and were great sides for the dish. <br/><br/>In between dishes, our waiters remained attentive, topping up our drinks as needed; and I enjoyed several different wines that were matched to the dishes. <br/><br/>Although completely stuffed, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to have some banana fritters and ice cream for dessert. This dessert was unlike any of those childhood memories of thick, sickly batter surrounding stodgy banana from your local Chinese restaurant. Instead, our bananas were coated in a super light and crispy tempura batter, drizzled in a light syrup and topped with coconut and flavoured sugar. Such a simple dessert executed so brilliantly that it really beats some of the more elaborate desserts I have had at other places. <br/><br/>Our dinner at Good Nights wasn't just about the outstanding food, although that was excellent and next level good. The overall experience was so memorable, from the eclectic decor and chilled vibe, to the attentive and lovely staff, and the fantastic location on busy Chapel Street. We left Good Nights with a huge smile on our faces, and vowed that it wouldn't be long before we returned for another brilliant night.

Great atmosphere restaurant good food and service definitely will recommend if in the area. Love the special beef pho. Will return

We read about this place on Broadsheet and we live close by. Decided to try this place out since we have Zomato Gold. It's an Asian fusion Vietnamese restaurant and the renovation is clean. We had pipi, the beef pho, fried rice with crab meat and coconut cream caramel. Overall the food is good, pho is different to the ones you'd get from traditional pho places, nice and rich and doesn't have alot of MSG taste. Fries rice has the wok taste.<br/><br/>Overall it's good, service was good, but a bit step. We paid $65 for two people which included the free pipi dish. Another note, my beer was a can ($9) not a bottle.

Good service and great quality of food. Had the beef pho and was very fresh and tasty

Came here as our first ZG use because I was craving some Vietnamese - the service was great (lovely and engaging waiters, happy to help!) and food arrived fast. <br/><br/>Star of the show was the pork ribs - sweet and sticky in all the right amounts. We also had the beef carpaccio (slightly under seasoned), hand rolled chicken rolls (smaller serving size than expected), the moreton bay bug (good!! and plating was great) and the shaking beef (very average unfortunately - an interesting taste....).<br/><br/>Unfortunately didn’t seem to have as great of a meal as the other diners - maybe another trip may will be a different experience.

I’m not a fan of Vietnamese food but this one is really worth trying for its excellent food quality at this price range and friendly waiters. The con could be relatively long waiting time for almost every single dish... However, considering the price paid and the overall food quality, the long waiting time might be OK.

This place is a hidden gem. Attentive service. Delicious pho- must try. We loved everything that brought to the table. Highly recommended. Zomato gold was available which was a bonus.

Must have passed this hidden gem thousands of time and decided to try it today. <br/><br/>Julie and Jake was amazing and provided top class service . We ordered <br/><br/>1. Moreton Bay bugs - 🦞🦞🦞🦞🦞<br/>2. Spanned crab fried rice - 🦀🦀🦀🦀🦀<br/>3. Beef eye fillet (served with chips) 🍖🍖🍖🍖🍖<br/><br/>All food was prepared to five star standard. <br/><br/>Love the jasmine tea hibiscus mint moktail as it was well balanced.<br/><br/>Must visit place @ Windsor

Restaurant located on Chapel St opposite Windsor station. Zomato team helpful to address problem using Zomato Gold. Great food and nice atmosphere...

MELBOURNE | I’m quite the fan of the light broth pho at GoodDays restaurant in Brunswick, so I didn’t hesitate to accept a recent invite to check out their new restaurant, Good Nights, in Windsor. Owner Nam Nguyên’s second restaurant has a wider remit than the first, with an expanded menu that draws upon both his Vietnamese heritage and the flavours of the wider region.

We had visited Good Nights for dinner and had a wonderful evening! Here are some of our favorites for the night!<br/><br/>Pho - served with beef brisket, ox tongue, bone marrow and ox tail! The broth was absolutely tasty as it was packed with flavors and it kept us going back for more! The meats were pretty juicy and succulent and had absorbed the broth!<br/><br/>Moreton bay bug - glass noodles, moreton bay bug, chicken, black fungus and onion! What made this unique was the presentation and the yummy taste of this! The glass noodles was cooked perfectly and you could taste all the elements embedded into it!<br/><br/>Bahn khot - mini taro pancakes which were such good appetizers! The pancakes were fried to perfection and the addition of the taro had made us happy with our choice!<br/><br/>Lemongrass pork ribs - you could taste the herbs in the ribs which was a good complement! The ribs were very succulent and juicy that we finished every bit of meat on it!<br/><br/>What an experience it was at Good Nights! We will definitely visit again for another round of yummy food!

What a beautiful and authentic Vietnamese restaurant on Chapel St! You can expect, great food and attentive service if you visit Good Nights Restaurant. We nabbed a great table by the window on arrival and were given the food and wine options for the evening. Our waiter asked if we would like to start with a drink, we wanted to get a bottle of wine and were not sure which one to get. He recommended one of the most beautiful bottles of wine that we had ever tasted and was extremely helpful when we were on sure about a few of the menu items and how much food to order.

My partner and I enjoyed our dinner here last night. The menu is Asian fusion with the best dishes of popular Asian cuisines on offer. I thought it was just Vietnamese so this was a nice surprise.<br/><br/>The decor here is very bright and colourful - I really liked the vibes. We ordered 2 smaller plates and 2 larger plates and enjoyed everything that we ordered. However, we found it strange how our smaller plates came out way before the larger ones. We didn't know this, the waiter didn't advise us early that we were supposed to ask for everything to come out at once. He only asked us if we wanted the rest of the food to come out now, about 15-20mins after our small plates came out. This was annoying as we saved the pork ribs to go with the larger plates as we thought they would come out quickly after, but they got cold. Also, we weren't able to take a photo of all the dishes together which we would have liked.<br/><br/>Next time - please advise us when we order if we are supposed to mention that we want everything at the same time. I've never been to a restaurant with such a long wait between the plates. Apart from that, service was friendly and attentive.<br/><br/>I would highly recommend the vegan tofu curry - it was delicious. The crab fried rice was great too. Portions are quite small though.<br/><br/>Good Nights is definitely worth a visit, I'm sure we'll be back soon to see what else they have to offer.

The fusion of traditional Vietnamese dishes with Western flavours more often than not feels half-baked and lacks authenticity. Good Nights however has artfully combined the best of both words, offering a modern take that still pays respect to the traditional ways of Vietnamese cooking.<br/>With a clear emphasis on fresh, quality ingredients, coupled with authentic execution, made this a thoroughly enjoyable meal.

Brand new restaurant on chapel street with a fun and casual vibe and vibrant menu full of Vietnamese inspired dishes. We shared the lean pancakes, the lamb and betel leaf skewers, the fried chicken wings, the calamari salad and the pippies. All the food was really tasty and fresh and had a nice hit of chilli. Great option for a night out with friends.
Espy Eats
We visited Good Nights on a wet and wintery spring night in Windsor. We’ve been to Vietnamese eateries before but didn’t quite no what to expect from this tail end of chapel street establishment. We were in for a surprise with fresh locally sourced ingredients, amazing cocktail and great tunes. We were greeted with upbeat tunes, a spinning disco ball and wonderful staff.  the rain was soon forgotten as we started with a signature cocktail, the Saigon Sour, I opted for gin base (coriander infused). This drink was based around the Pho concept of adding in items for your own taste and preference an fame with hints of lime, pho syrup, gorgeous spices and chilli was served with all the viet trimmings to pimp it up.  My taste buds have died and gone to heaven, what a clever drink, so freaking delicious. <br/><br/><br/>From the the cocktail specials we also ordered the Watermelon spritz, this delight was the perfect combo of watermelon, mint and sparkles. <br/><br/>From the street food snacks we tried the chicken wings, described on the menu had damn fine crispy wings tossed in a zesty glaze, is only partially doing this dish justice. These crispy babies where crunchy, sweet, sour succulent, divine. <br/><br/>We also ordered the Betel leaf lamb, these where full flavoured and tender with an exceptional yoghurt and Malta chilli oil dipping sauce on the side. I just wanted to lick the freaking dish. <br/><br/>From the Appetizers we ordered the Prawn mini pancakes. The prawns were topped with tobiko and served on a crispy turmeric and coconut mini pancake. We wrapped these in the provided lettuce with mint and dipped in a Noc Jam dressing. There is only one word that can be used to describe this masterpiece, sublime. This dish is just incredible. <br/><br/>Salads<br/>Calamari & papaya cherry tomato. This dish is the epitomy of summer on a plate, fresh shredded papaya, a great hit of mint, charred bbq calamari, it might be raining outside but my taste buds are summer lovin.<br/><br/>From the Noodles we chose the Char kway teow, with prawn, calamari and bacon. This dish did not disappoint, all these wonderful flavours of the wok melted together for a fabulous smokey flavour, with a wonderful silky texture.  My lips are buzzing from the heat from the fresh chilli oil served on the side. <br/><br/>For dessert we went with the banana fritter and the coconut creme caramel.  The caramel aromas had me drooling before I could even take a mouthful, hot crunchy sweet banana fritters where wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed the coconut creme caramel, the coconut had a depth of flavour that reminded me of toasted coconut.<br/><br/>Without a doubt somewhere well worth visiting for that cocktail or fusion Vietnamese fix. Thanks to Good Nights Vietnamese for their hospitality.
Agreekable
If you’re looking for a new and cool restaurant and to try some delicious Vietnamese food I highly recommend checking this place out! The interior is super trendy and vibrant. The food is also amazing. The Morton Bay big with glass noodles is a must! Then the Pho was delicious, not like one over had before. Check these guys out, they’re very close to Windsor station and top end of Chapel st!

I had a great dinner at this venue with Agreekable and Bigmelbappetite. The whole place is fun and colourful and I love the authentic, bright table settings. I love the menu branding and the cocktail selection - the food was also delicious and my favourites were the beef pho and the banh kot! Even the bathrooms play music and are super cool! Thanks for having us!

Good Nights is sister venue to Brunswick’s Vietnamese eatery Good Days. Its menu is designed for sharing, but with the quality of the dishes it’s tempting not to. Banh Khot are indeed crispy as per the menu description, and served with a refreshing topping of prawns and
Nini Foodie
Good Nights is a newish restaurant right next to Windsor station serving unique and modern takes on classic Vietnamese dishes. I loved the bright and colourful decor (you’re attention is immediately drawn to the quirky vinyl tablecloths) and chill vibes, definitely a great place to have a laid back meal with great cocktails and wines too!<br/><br/>We has the Banh Knot ($14) crispy coconut tumeric pancakes, crispy Prawn Toast ($10) with salted egg yolk and smokey Banh Cuon ($14) with eggplant and shiitake mushrooms. The Special Beef Pho ($25) is their signature dish and wow, it was the meatiest pho I’ve ever had!! It’s an upgraded version of their regular beef pho with added roasted bone marrow, sliced ox tongue and slow braised ox tail. If you like meat and offal flavours then this is a must try!
Bigmelbappetite
#BMAfavourites This pho from @goodnights_windsor was pho-nominal - seriously! Their signature dish has ROASTED BONE MARROW, sliced ox tongue and slow braised ox tail - one of the most rich and flavourful pho broths I have ever had!! -<br/>Other favourites include their take on the crispy Banh Khot with tobiko - what an incredible combo! - and the Morton bay bug - not only beautifully presented but PACKED with huge chunks of Moreton bay bug! -<br/>As a second generation Vietnamese you know I ain’t lying when I say @goodnights_windsor is a must visit!

The most innovative and thoughtfully curated Vietnamese restaurant I've been to in Melbourne and a most welcome addition to the Windsor dining scene.  From the outset, the impression created by the well balanced menu was impressive, with plenty of excellent options for vegans, vegetarians (often overlooked) as well as omnivores.  Had the beef salad, which was complex, elegant and delicious, together with the Banana Leaf Barramundi and Roo Luc Lac - both of which were excellent.  <br/>Tom was super-helpful in guiding us through the drinks list - which is top class.  The Red Flag cocktail a real highlight and was just the thing to open proceedings.<br/>Highly recommend!
@twogoodtoresist
this funky new Vietnamese restaurant has a reputation from its north side premises and we now understand why. A good vibe, great food and fantastic cocktails, we really enjoyed our visit to Good Nights. Our top pick was the DIY veg rice paper rolls with tofu and enoki mushrooms
The Gluten-Free Foodie
Met some friends for a dinner at Good Nights on Friday and it was a good atmosphere even though a little too dark. The service was great and server very friendly. We ordered a few drinks and larger plates due to dietary differences. It was a little disappointing to only have two options that could be vegan and gluten free simultaneously, I ordered a small mushroom pho. The pho was really tasty! The small was plenty big enough as a main for an adult woman that hadn’t worked out if that’s a good measure. Some of the mushies were a bit tough to eat nicely so would not recommend for a date meal. <br/>Overall a good experience.

Ingredients are from sustainable sources, great place for vegetarians and vegans

Creative Vietnamese-fusion food, a somelier who really knows his drinks, and hip decor create a unique dining experience. Definitely one to add to your "must do"list!

If you want to eat seriously good Vietnamese food with a modern and edgy twist amidst a cool retro vibe, Good Nights Restaurant is the place to go. I like that they have different sized plates so you can order according to the size of your appetites and your tastes. Perfect for sharing in a small group. The banana leaf barramundi, the Moreton Bay bug noodles, and the smoky eggplant and shiitake mushroom in steamed rice roll were clear standouts, with me being pescatarian, but my companions raved about the fried chicken wings and kangaroo fillets too. There is a delicacy and carefully thought out balance in the flavours and ingredients that make the food here unique and interesting. The ingredients are super fresh. Then there's the ambiance - surprisingly delightful, even if disco lights in the restroom and kitschy brightly coloured table cloths, a hologram artwork of an Indian goddess and hanging turquoise creepers above the bar are not your thing - they all add to the enjoyment of the experience.  The restaurant manager was very informed and articulate. Would definitely come here again.

We loved this place, the staff were really friendly and made great suggestions for food and drinks. The moreton bay bug noodles and okra salad were our favourites and we'll be coming back !

Came in on a sleepy Wednesday after training.. tried 1 thing from every part of the menu.. and went back to try more!<br/>100% get the wings!<br/>100% let the peeps behind the bar take you on a ride re: cocktails! They know their shit!<br/>Totally unassuming place that genuinely surprised me!<br/>Total visits since x3!
Chris
You must order the Kangaroo!!! What a pleasant surprise to find an Asian restaurant using sustainably sourced produce. The flavour and texture were amazing and I have to say, the best I have had in a very long time. Incredible thought has been put into the menu, I will be back for more!

@goodnights_windsor MY NEWEST CHAPEL ST LOVER 💯🥰💥 Had the most amazing dinner experience with menu items like bugs with glass noodles - FAV. Seriously this was so fresh and noodles were super flavoursome. Crispy coconut timer if pancake with prawns and steamed rice paper rolls with smoky eggplant and shiitake mushrooms. 🎊🎊 in my mouth.

Good Nights has taken over the location that used to house Susie Wongs. The fit-out is a bit of fun with the predominate color being pink and bright floral table cloths add to the colour palate. We thoroughly enjoyed wines from an impressive beverage list and their twist on Vietnamese cuisine. Delicious food, great service  … Look forward to a return visit.

Points for: The pho<br/><br/>I came here specifically for the pho.  <br/>Now I grew up with cheap $9 pho, so there has to be something really special for me to spend $25 on a bowl.<br/>Luckily, the pho here has great flavour, and you can taste quality ingredients and different techniques.<br/>The roasted bone marrow was soft and jelly like, giving the soup a luxurious "mouth feel" (sorry for using that term).<br/>The sliced beef was nicely roasted, you get some smoky flavours.<br/>The soup itself is clear, rich, beefy and not overly sweet.<br/>For a $25 bowl of pho, I was seriously impressed and would actually come back to have it again!<br/>Love the old school decor of the joint - plastic table mats and the bill comes in karaoke dvd covers. All that's missing are blue plastic stools.
Lachlan
Bottom line is I'm going to keep on coming back. In the mushroom pho; the broth is very fragrant and mushrooms add a lot of textures for a flawless flavour profile. The curry is amazing too. Everything we've tried (vegetarian) has been brilliant. Staff are attentive too.

Recently visited Good Nights for dinner for a new take on Vietnamese food.<br/><br/>What we had:<br/>🥢 House special spring rolls - crunchy on the outside and tasty on the inside. A great starter to kick off the night!<br/><br/>🍤 Banh Khot - crispy coconut turmeric pancakes with prawns & topped with roe. Absolutely delicious when dipped in nuoc cham sauce<br/><br/>🐟 Barramundi - grilled in banana leaf and marinated in turmeric and lemongrass. Served with refreshing rice noodle salad with pickeled cucumber and goji berries. The banana leaf was very prominent in the dish and made the dish very fragrant.<br/><br/>🦘 Roo Luc Lac - wok tossed kangaroo, onion, peppers, watercress and hand cut potato chips. A really interesting dish with an AMAZING sauce that's perfect to soak up with the rice. Well cooked chips and delicious watercress.<br/><br/>Great quality & fresh ingredients, amazing & friendly service from Tom. Definitely recommend a visit 🥰

Food looks expensive but worth the price. I won’t say it is ‘authentic’ but it was very tasty. No doubt they are using good quality and fresh ingredients. Highlight was the special beef pho- oxtail and angus beef was very yum. The soup was clear and full of flavor. Even the noodle itself tastes different with other Vietnamese restaurants- it is chewy and never ‘broken’. Can tell the Spring roll were home made. Just be careful the chilly sauce came with pho was really really spicy.
