Had a take away coffee here in the morning after going to Curtain Square with my doggie. They have a lovely counter in the wall. The service was friendly. My 3/4 latte didn't look pretty, but it's not all about the looks. The flavours were not too bad, but not great either. I would recommend them to get the barista to a course to learn to froth the milk a bit smoother and to do basic latte art as I think that would get them more customers in good coffee spoilt Melbourne. It was lovely to sit in a sunny spot on the terrace out the front!

For regulars every 6th coffee is for free which is a pretty sweet deal. I probably will try some other places in the area and don't think I will become a regular.

Great coffee, food made on premises by warm friendly people. Try it. It's really great. I sat outside in the winter sun. Lovely. John Brogden strolled past. Eclectic menu: curry, pastries and pasta.

Masons is delightful. The staff are friendly. The coffee is delicious. The food is yummy! Everything is made from scratch so gluten free options abound - my fav is the gluten free beef vindaloo jaffle (so good). Their takeaway food options are awesome too ❤️❤️

Nice local cafe. Lovely imaginative food and great service at any time of the day. The fit out is very much of the area and works well although can get a bit rowdy. A nice addition to Rathdowne.

Only discovered this place recently. Lovely service. Friendly atmosphere. Delicious food. My go to place for coffee and breakfast in the inner north.

A cozy little cafe on Rathdowne Street. Great coffee. The chocolate tart just melts in your mouth.

What a treat! I had the halloumi and mushroom delight, so tasty with lots of delicious textures. The owner works in house and whips everything up herself. Great food and warm, friendly staff- what more can you want.

Stumbled on this lovely little place on my way to somewhere else. Stopped by for a tea and enjoyed the owners recommendations of chocolate torte, lemon polenta cake and vindaloo jaffles. All delicious. Dont forget small businesses like these this lockdown. Spread the love! Will be back with my family

Masons you may choose to dine in or outside on a sunny day in lovely tree lined Rathdowne Street... The tasty meals are all made on the premises and delicious homemade cakes & fruit slices are available to have with your coffee/tea. Tonight my family enjoyed tapas & drinks after lockdown - it was so good to have some freedom and enjoy the beautiful evening with tasty food and good company ... Thank you Viv - we would love to do this again during daylight saving ...
