Oyako Don is very nice
Good combination with Chicken and rice.
Price is very cheap and the portion is suited for everyone.
Located Elizabeth street , nearby ANZ bank , firstly the customer service is good, explained what’s new menu going on , secondly the dining atmosphere not bad feel comfortable and relax , thirdly the food such gyu tan don , dry noodle not bad , and pork Gyoza really juicy . Lastly price reasonable and will visit again , try for the ramen . Cheers
The staff were lovely! The Ramen was so delicious and the portion size was huge too!!!! Such good value for money and you didn’t need to wait long for your meal too! Will definitely be returning next time we are in Melbourne ✨
Great service by staff that was friendly and prompt. Ordered fried seafood ramen, they served the fried items separately so it wouldn't get soggy which was an unexpected surprise :) seafood was crispy, portion decent. Added chili to the ramen and it tasted great.
Craving for Menya's gyutandon, but can't be bothered paying the $16+ price tag? Head on over to Isshin where they sell practically the same thing, at a cheaper price. The gyutan was tender, and they definitely coat the perfect amount of sauce throughout. Well done!
Good sushi at Isshin! I especially love the spicy prawn. It's so creamy and has the perfect hint of spice too. I feel like Isshin aren't skimpy with their fillings compared to other sushi places. I also appreciate the fact that they are quite cheap ($2.50) per roll compared to other sushi places in the city that sell their rolls for nearly $3 each!!!! Just keep in mind there a 50 cent surcharge if you use card - however the staff there will always remind you. The reason I'm only rating 4 star and not 5 is because when I ordered 4 rolls, the staff member serving me didn't give me not a single soy sauce packet or even bothered to ask me.
I didn't even realise until I got back to my workplace because I just assumed the soy sauce packets were already in the box.
Granted, it was busy and staff were trying to attend to many customers.
Now when I return I always make sure to ask them for soy sauce.
Takeaway beef don from here once and it was really nice. Not a typical beef + rice only, but they also put veggie & variety of other things. The ready-made sushi selection also tasted soo good. I especially love cooked tuna & crispy chicken. Yum yum!
Been to this place many times and absolutely love it. Great selection and variety of food, generous portions for what you pay. Definitely recommend for a quick meal/take away!
Came by few days ago and had some sushi it was great!Especially the cooked tuna and spicy prawn roll. Tried their curry katsu don last time was also tasty. The price is affordable and great service! The waitress at the front are very nice and always serve with a smile plus comfortable environment. I will certainly come back and enjoy the japanese cuisine again!
I guess if you go here for their donburi dishes, maybe the rating won't be so bad. Because the gyu tan don I had was great. I've tried this dish twice and have not been disappointed.
The gyu tan is steaming hot on arrival, you get eggs and side some pickled cabbages to go contrast the beef.
Not to mention they also have lunch and afternoon deals on their don dishes. I'd come back andmaybe try their karaage next time.
