Best burgers in town have tried many places but this rates the best!
Beatbox Kitchen introduced me to the wonders of food trucks over 7 years ago. Having the Raph burger again was very nostalgic.
With the emergence of so many burger joints popping up in Melbourne I am happy to say the Raph burger is still one of the better burger around.
The only downside is the patty is a tad on the salty side.
I also love how you can play table tennis whilst waiting for your meal.
Great burger. Usually grab the Raph and its always good. The fries are fine but we come here for the burgers. The setting is pretty basic but its more a place where you grab your food smash it then take off.
Beatbox Kitchen is my OG Burger King. Even the initials hint it. In my eyes, they can do no wrong and after all these years, Beatbox Kitchen have proven once again that they are still as consistently amazing as ever.
The Raph Burger and the Shroom Burger both blew me away with their execution and incredible taste. Juicy, meaty (even the portobello mushroom exude its own kind of umami "meatiness") and just absolutely bursting with flavours. The skinny fries were hot and crispy, and didn't let me down a single bit.
There's also much to love about the service here. Such genuine warmth and so easy-going. Beatbox Kitchen is easily my favourite burger joint in Melbourne.
If there's a festival or event and there's food trucks - if BeatBox is there, I'm usually in the queue. I'm pretty basic so I go for the Raph. For a food truck burger, it's pretty good. Reliable product. Shoestring fries if you're interested.
When Raph Rashid opened the Beatbox Kitchen in 2009 it was one of Melbourne’s first food trucks, and one of the first places in town doing US-style burgers.
Veg supreme is top notch when you're seeking a traditional, "fast-food-style" burger without the meat. Not too greasy and good amount of veg. There's a reason Beatbox kitchen has blown up recently.
Tonight I was craving burgers so I decided to pay a visit to Beatbox Kitchen, a place I have had bookmarked for some time now. The restaurant is easy to find on Sydney Rd, you can't miss the Burger & Fries or Beatbox Kitchen sign out the front.
The high rating given by other diners is definitely worthy as my cheeseburger was really tasty and delicious. The patty was good and those buns... oh my gosh so fluffy and every bite was so good. Loved the pickles and sauce inside, I added some sriracha too for an extra kick.
Overall a good burger joint 😊
I love Beatbox and I don’t even like burgers. At least I didn’t till I tried the Raph burger. The pattie is always perfectly cooked and the sauce just completes it. So delicious
Food : Ralph burger. Meat patty cooked to perfection, nice balance with ingredients, sauce complemented nicely. Good size, satisfies without fries.
Service: Order at register, but comes to table.
Ambience: Bright, clean but very basic. Plenty of space.
Overall: Well priced but with limited menu. Would eat the Raph again.
American Diner inspired décor burger lounge with booth seating & a table tennis table at the back of the restaurant anyone can play for free. Hot sauce & American mustard provided on the tables. Milkshakes are super thick and delicious, mushroom burger was amazing. Check it out if you're in the area.
I'm in love with those mini-cheese burgers. The lil cheese burger is little in size maybe but huge in flavour and awesomeness. Fluffy bun, awesome beef pattie, super yummy sauce and fresh pickles and onions. Reminds me of WHITE CASTLE. A Must Visit
Very clean and minimalist atmosphere; mimics the style of a no-frills American burger joint. Don’t expect friendly service, but great quality food. One of the best burgers I’ve had in Melbourne, I highly recommend!
Following the success of their very cool food truck, the guys at Beatbox Kitchen have opened a bricks and mortar store in Brunswick's busy Sydney Road.
A very simple menu with some delicious options.

I just had a gluten free beef burger at a wedding that these guys were hired for. OMG! This is the best burger I’ve had in a few years. Thanks you so much I’m almost in tears! Thanks so much!
Very solid burger place. Their burgers are simple but very effective. The vibe here is cool too, with chilled out tunes and a table tennis table to have fun with while you wait for your order. For a small place, it's got a good variety of drink choices, with beers on tap and in cans too.
If you're looking for a quality burger in Brunswick, hit this place up.
Top burger, juicy patty (although often overcooked), great chips and sauces, milkshakes are average but they're cheap so I dunno, I'd rather pay more for something killer. A great feed overall.
