Fed Up Project is a cute little cafe in South Melbourne that served up wholesome food that is sourced locally. We visited on a Weekday for some brunch to check out some of of their dishes and find the proof that you dishes can be both for you and taste delicious!. To start I ordered a ‘Golden latte’ which was made with coconut milk and made with Tumeric, Cinnamon, Ginger, Honey and Pepper. This was a mild flavoured but warming drink – perfect for these last few days when Melbourne has been shaking the last of the winter chill out of it’s system!

The team behind fed up project are gorgeous and try very hard to keep up with the demands of the melbourne food world. The cafe has a very cute ambience and set up and we love their focus on healthy food with options that cater to all dietary needs. Coffees, chai (they won an award for their chai) and mocha were all delicious. Tom the barista and owner is really friendly and passionate! However we did find that food was a bit lacking in the wow factor! We got the chili scramble with smoked salmon- the toast was way too toasted (like a cracker) and really buttered which we didn't love. The scramble and mushrooms themselves were great in flavour though. Avo smash comes presented really nicely and generous with two poached eggs however the toast again was thin and couldn't be cut. Peanut butter slice and cacao ball were a bit dry but nice. The presentation cabinet doesn't wow you and could do with some better styling. Fed up has great potential in an amazing spot but still has a while to go!

Delicious food, we had the savoury muffins and the dark chocolate balls with an iced coffee and a long black. Everything was really yummy. We loved the whole vibe, very friendly and the place is airy and bright. The ping pong table out front adds a bit of fun! Really like this place!!

Healthy can be attractive and delicious?

On their Soy Latte alone, at $4. La Marzocco is in the house and their Soy Latte is one of the much better one in Melbourne.

Good, neutral and simple set up, simplicity is good.......

On the food side, did not try their Menu today, but it looks inviting, will make sure to do so on the next trip.

This seems to be the direction/motto of this interesting Cafe with a "healthy" - "Green" message - NOT to be confuse with the confused political party ........
"Greens leader Richard Di Natale and the party’s community services spokeswoman Rachel Siewert are among the top 10 spenders on taxpayer-funded flights despite loudly condemning excesses by Coalition and Labor politicians. Senator Siewert claimed more expenses for domestic flights in the first half of 2016 than her fellow West Australians, Foreign Minister Julie Bishop and Finance Minister Mathias Cormann.

Her travel spending was the fifth highest, while Senator Di Natale’s was 10th of the 226 members of both houses of parliament. Senator Siewert claimed $63,934 in travel expenses in six months while Senator Di Natale racked up $56,526." The Australian 13th Jan 2017.

These guys seems to have the right direction, all the very best. We'll stop by again soon.

Updated review for new menu September 2017

Fed Up Project is located in Clarendon Street, South Melbourne and over the last year it has had a complete revamp from decor to menu. We had the pleasure of being invited to try their latest menu and we are so glad we did.

What makes Fed Up Project stand out from the crowd is the fact they cater for so many dietary requirements. Over 90% of their menu is Gluten Free optional. Apart from this, they also do some items as Vegan Optional, Dairy Free and Nut Free.

We began our brunch with some lattes, the coffee is still as great as ever. I did not even need to add any sugar so that definitely must mean they are on to a winner 😉.

I decided to try the Veg Out which consisted of smashed avocado, sauteed mushrooms & spinach, hummus, felafel crumb, toasted dukkah, herb oil & microgreens all served on sourdough. This dish was full of flavour and the real stand out for me was the addition of felafel crumb. This complemented the meal perfectly.
My friend ordered the S'mores French Toast consisting of chocolate ganache, homemade marshmallows, banana, strawberries, maple, vanilla ice cream, raspberry coulis, biscuit crumb, maple & banana chips. She really enjoyed her meal and those homemade marshmallows were a hit!

We decided upon some fresh juices (the Green Machine and The Cleanse) to accompany our meals. Apart from being so visually appealing, these juices were just delicious. We could have easily had a second.

We were also lucky enough to sample some sweet treats created in-house. The strawberry cheesecake muffin, salted caramel slice and the red velvet ball were all a sweet lovers delight.

The cafe is spacious, bright and airy and I loved the breakfast window on street frontage. Parking in the area was free on weekends and we found a spot quite easily and close by to the cafe.

Thank you to Tom and Sarah for inviting us and for sharing their passion about sourcing local produce to create such wonderful dishes.

Previous review...The coffee here is delicious, its Cortado, worth coming here just to try it. The staff are very friendly however, the food was just OK. I had the Paleo French toast which consisted of banana bread with lemon curd, nut crumble, drizzle of maple syrup, sliced banana, strawberries, blueberries & edible flowers. The chai ice cream was served on the side was over powering. Having said this, I will be back to buy a takeaway coffee.

Lovely friendly service and a great selection of treats and solid menu for those of us managing a few dietary restrictions. Agree that some more care to the interior would make this place sing. Anyone who can make a delicious almond latte has my vote!

Just had their salad & protein bowl. Great flavours, quality, price, and presentation. Could do with a few more salad options, but still top marks for these guys.

This place is absolute perfection!
They're in the process of a name change to Fed Up Project but they can keep me fed all day!
Ordered their Paleo banana French toast and let me tell you it was probably one of the best breakfasts I've ever had in Melbourne!
I was excited enough knowing that they served Paleo food but to know that it tastes AMAZING is a whole other level!
Also ordered their pineapple and coconut smoothie and TBH it was the best way to enjoy a pina colada at 7am 😂
I'm only dropping half a mark because they done have a store in Sydney! NEED A SYDNEY STORE 😍😍

$10 Lunch menu is spot on!! My favorite cafe/place to get lunch in Melbourne! High quality, very healthy food - the owners put their heart and soul into each menu item and offer really helpful advice on what to eat. I've got a lot of allergies, so I love heading down here and getting some tips, then having a big meal at a decent price. There's even a Ping Pong table out the front - bring a mate, have a quick game and the winner gets their meal for half price when dining with the loser.

Some of the friendliest staff around. Great for groups or working by yourself on your blog. Wi-Fi available. Improve: A little more atmosphere and attention to details on coffee would make it a five star. It's too much foam on the latte and a little bit better as well

Wonderful coffee and food and friendly staff. The location is ideal. Loving the table tennis set up out the front. Some light sporting fun to be had with a spot of table tennis!
