Friendly and accommodating service , ok coffee and fresh lasagne dish, nice cosy unpretentious and interiors.the cakes and sandwiche/rolls menu looks good as does the flourless chocolate cake.
I have been coming to Cafe Lansdowne for about 6 years now as I can always guarantee the most lovely service from the owner Joe and his wife. A gem in the middle of the big city that is homey in its atmosphere with delicious home made food and amazing coffee. Very well priced and my pick of the bunch from all the cafes in the area!
This is a Lovely cafe. The food is Home made and the place is very clean. The couple who run the cafe are very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended
Definitely my favourite cafe. The owners are so welcoming, it's so evident how much hard work and care they put into their business. I love the large amount of different food on offer and the coffee is superb. 11/10 recommend

We loved this place. Staff cared about their customers, it was evident that there are a lot of repeat customers as the gentleman making the coffees knew a lot of his clients by name, as well as their regular order. You could tell he made each cup of coffee with pride and love. Great food. Very reasonable prices. Lovely waitress offered to hold our baby while I ate my breakfast given they were not too busy. Will be going back next time I'm in town !
Cosy cafe in East Melbourne. I had breakfast here this morning after reading the UrbanSpoon reviews. Very cosy atmosphere with an open fire, friendly service and a huge big breakfast - I shall definitely be back. One thing though, it's cash only (not a problem of course) but there is no sign so a bit of an embarrassing moment when I had to go and find an ATM to pay the bill. Otherwise, great.
Great food and coffee. I am lucky enough to work around the corner from this great little cafe. Joe the barista makes a great coffee and the sandwiches and rolls are always extremely fresh and very reasonably priced. A little treat in the colder months is the open fire place and during summer the outdoor courtyard to catch some rays of sun. Keep up the good work Joe and the team!

Best coffee I have ever had, been going to this cafe everyday now, food quality and quantity is so much worth it, prices are very reasonable considering how everything is going expensive.
Rika and Tommy are so lovely, it’s always great to talk to them whenever am getting my coffee or lunch.
Tucked away and quiet. This neat cosy place offers amazing pies and tasty lunch treats!

I was waiting for someone getting a surgey (1.5 hour wait) and I noticed someone on the side of the road with a muffin and I asked where she got it from. It was 37 degrees and windy. She turned out to be the cafe owner who was heading home. She offered to walk me back to the cafe and opened it back up for me. She made me coffee and even let me sit in the back court yard win the shade while I waited. It was fantastic hospitality especially during the circumstances. Would defiantly recommend.

Great cafe. Had a kebab plate. The plate was massive, containing a two inch high pile of lamb, garlic sauce, chips, (decent fresh and varied) salad with dressing. Very happy. Food was great, service was great. Loved it!
The coffee from the cafe was amazing! Milk at a perfect temp, crema was sweet, coffee not bitter or over roasted... just really lovely.
It was beautifully made, and was lovely to sit inside :)
Nice vibe cafe with cosy rear courtyard, outside and inside seating, run by friendly owners.
Close to Royal Eye and Ear hospital.
Fresh and healthy food options including fruit juices, and smoothies.
