Very friendly service and delicious food.
We ordered the moo bing, boat noodle and panang curry with crispy pork belly. Along with a bowl of jasmine rice this a sufficient meal for two people. 😃
The flavours were all amazing. 😋
We used the Gold 1+1 offer and experienced no issues during our meal.

Over 2 years establish and serve Very tasty food . The pork neck was amazing . Pricy at $7 for 2 . Pineapple fried rice was good but noodles was a bit average. Staff were very polite .
My Rating: 4.5
What a wonderful random discovery today. It’s been a while since I walked up Bourke Street when I noticed Siam Thai Restaurant. The service and food were both amazing. Generous portions and lots of flavours!
🔆LOCATION🔆
Siam Thai is situated on Bourke Street, near the corner of Russell Street. The restaurant is spacious and as you walk in, there is a nice relaxed vibe.
🔆SERVICE🔆
The staff are extremely friendly and very efficient with the service and clearing of tables. They seem to have some kind of orderly system which works really well. My order was made ever so quickly which I wasn’t expecting as the restaurant was 70% capacity and there was a large group if over 20 people.
🔆MENU/PRICE🔆
I decided to try something extremely local Thai food which I love to eat.
Traditional Boat Noodle, $
Moo Ping Skewers (2), $7.00
(Skewered pork neck marinated with Thai herbs and special sauce)
🔆VERDICT🔆
Holy moly! The boat noodle serving was soo big, I had to ask for a take away container to take the rest home. I did get charge 20c for the container which was fine. The tender beef was exactly that, it was soft and tender and the beef balls had great flavour. The broth was heavy (as it should be) and delicious with flavours of lemongrass, cinnamon, star anise and other spices.
The pork skewers was also very delicious. The pork neck was tender and practically almost feel off the skewer. The flavours of the marinade was light and tasty, I could have ordered another serve but I was too full. I will definitely return to try other items on their extensive menu. I can definitely confirm the food here is authentic Thai.
Good standard meal, everything was good but nothing overly special. Red duck curry was fragrant and coconutty. Crispy pork was very tasty. Squid was ok, not too much flavour.
So impressed this restaurant. Nice food and I also really like tropical fruit tea.
Taste very fantastic and service was really good. Creap cake very yum
Nice staff and delicious food. The fruit tea new drink is very good too i want you to try once.
It was my first time eating Thai food so I came here with my friends. The food was so delicious and flavourful. I loved the coconut rice and soft crab. The service was good and the waitresses were nice. Definitely will come back.
We ordered the son in law eggs, king prawn pad Thai, and the grilled pork neck. All of these dishes came really quick.
The son in law eggs were beautifully fried with crispy skin on the outside and a nice soft yolk on the inside. The tamarind sauce was great.
The pad Thai was good too, the spices were on the side so you could choose your spice level.
Grilled pork neck was a favourite of the night as it had a nice smokey scent, and was nice and tender.
Food is always fresh and delicious. Lovely staff and atmosphere. Worth a try if you are in this area!!
We came here with the intention of trying the hotpot but the selection was quite small so we opted to order from the normal menu instead. I ordered the Tom yum soup, pork neck skewers, satay chicken skewers, roti bread and pineapple fried rice. The pork was tender and I loved the dipping sauce, it was sweet and tangy and full of herbs and spices. The satay chicken was a bit dry and personally I found the sauce too creamy. The roti bread was very buttery and crisp on the outside however I would prefer it more flaky. The pineapple fried rice was delicious, super tasty although there wasn’t much pineapple. The Tom yum was very tasty and generous with seafood. Overall a delicious and satisfying meal. I highly recommend the pineapple fried rice and pork neck skewers.
Close to the Chinatown part of Melbourne, this place has a lot of competition however, I found my meal very good. At 2pm there were only a few customers so got a nice seat. Staff were quick to give me some water and the menu and after a few minutes of making the difficult decision of whether to have noodles or rice, my order was taken. Food was prepared quickly and portion size was good.
The pad thai came with a free lunchtime offer and the iced tea was superb and I mean superb. So delicious that I asked how they made it. Price was $14 for the lunch. With so many other places to eat, this place did hold its own however, as I explore the area more, it'll be interesting how it holds up against the many other eateries nearby..
Wheelchair friendly. Kid friendly. Pram and stroller accessible.
Tried this recently. Food was really good Had a noodle soup & Pananag chicken with rice & Pineapple fried rice ..both dishes had good portion size, though our Satay chicken size starter was small..than as shown in menu photos. But everything tasted quite good. Happy to Recommend the place
We had the garlic fish, pork belly pork neck, pad see ew, massiman and desserts.
It tasted so delicious, we stuffed our face then we had food coma. 👍
The food was good and the service was average...we had the chicken nuts dish and the Penang curry with rice, both of the dishes were good
