Stopped in at Klik Cafe for breakfast this morning. The place has a bit of an Art Deco feel to it and I could tell at once that it was popular with the locals both businessmen and women and construction workers alike were there to sate their appetites and indulge in coffee and other breakfast staples.
For my part I ordered a tea and the Eggs Florentine which if you're wondering is slightly different to the Eggs Benedict insofar as it has spinach added to it as well. The spinach was tasty but I think I'm more of a Benedict man as far as eggs go. A good meal though and good value with fast and friendly service. 5 stars earned well. :) If hunger is calling to you on La Trobe Street then remember... relief is just a Klik away :)
Love the staff here. Very fast coffee service in the morning s and Michael & Michael are amazing at remembering customer names and orders. Good range of salads that are always fresh and an extensive sandwich Bar where everything is made fresh to order. I love that there is a roast of the day cooked each morning. The office catering is good quality and prices are very reasonable. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff here - love them!
Best value. I work in this building and have become a regular here. There's no minimum for card use, unlike most places around here being cash only. The team members are friendly and hardly ever say no for an answer. The environment is bustling, the lighting is warm and the food is beautifully fresh and yum. The serving size is big and generous. They have a different menu everyday. They have a good set of chefs and cooks who seem to care about the food that's prepared... and happy front end staff. They are never under staffed.
I will continue to come here almost every weekday :):)
My first time here today! What a discovery! Had a massive plate of pork, veggies, chips, gravy and crackling for under $10! The food was so fresh! Their salads and sandwiches look lovely and I can't wait to try breakfast here ; )
Bacon and Egg Roll....Hot Damn!!!. Been working close by and have eaten their superb Egg and Bacon rolls everyday! So fresh and super cheap!
The two guys give this place a lot of character. I was a bit apprehensive when I first came here for my pre-work cup of tea because the two guys behind the counter seemed to be a couple of rather odd fellows. However, I have discovered that they have a fairly unique personality that adds life to what is basically a cafe at the bottom of an office block (which is always good for business, unless of course there are no tenants). When I decided that I would order a nice breakfast I discovered it was what you would expect from a typical order of bacon and eggs, namely a large serving with a decent amount of bacon (which is always a good thing because my Mum was always stingy with the bacon) and a large serving of scrambled eggs (my favourite), and at a pretty decent price at that. They also serve my tea the way I like it (namely a tea bag in the pot so it doesn't come out too strong).

It's the simple things in life.... It's the simple things that make a make or break a visit to any cafe.
The food here is very fairly priced, looked and tasted fresh. Spoke with the owner, who is a charming man. He's said the muffins are baked freshly in house everyday and you can taste it. I had the Berry and White Chocolate which was superb. The coffee was tasty and made quickly.
They had a range of pre-made sandwich and focaccia's as well as making them to order. There is also a selection of hot foods and a well priced al-a-carte breaky menu is available.
The staff appeared happy, they're friendly, fast and seem to know a lot of the customers names so there must be plenty of regulars which is always a good sign. There is even one staff member who occasionally bursts into song which was rather entertaining. I'll be going back again.
