Didn’t feel like a stressful breakfast at The Westin. Just don’t like the vibe of hotel breakfasts and putting up with other people’s ways this early in the morning.
Sunday morning in Melbourne CBD is like a ghost town. Finding a quick breakfast and coffee is not as easy as a week day.
Choice for food is very limited here though involving choice of two croissants and a sandwich. Coffee was pretty decent.
What impressed me was the use of sound proofing as a feature giving the space a minimalistic look.
Take note establishments of SYDNEY sound proofing does exist and people like to talk and not be forced to shout!
Visit this place many time. A petite coffee bar in the city, coffee focus, offers pastries, great place for quick coffee break. Nice service, the staffs are very friendly and welcoming. Had many nice experience here.
Nice little cozy cafe with few seats. Ordered cold brew single origin. It has a nice cacao taste, not too acidic and very light. Really refreshing for hot weather.
Nothing short of exceptional, but be warned, this place is for coffee, NOTHING else, but if you are a coffee fiend this is a sure bet for guaranteed excellence in Melbourne coffee practices.
It is also stylishly designed with the new modbar under counter machines which are just sexy as espresso pulling gets.
Only downer is they don't take cash, c'mon guys what happens when that unbanked melbite wonders in with his gold coins in a little string tie satchel, I often don't carry a card and it was fortunate my partner was with me.
We were really looking forward to trying the coffee at Industry Beans after hearing so many good things about it. They certainly did not disappoint.
We had a cappuccino and a Bubble Cup original. The cappuccino was full of roasted coffee flavour and the milky froth on top was delicious. I wasn't a fan of their sago in the Bubble Cup but the drink itself was sweet and satisfying. I still prefer the good old black pearls.
This is an excellent place to get a reliable good drink on the go.
Little Bit Of Everything
+4
Industry Beans Lt. is one of my favourite coffee stops. I like trying out coffee's from different cafes and speciality stores. They have really cool and simplistic interiors. I admire the fact that they dont take cash. ive physical receipts, every little bit counts and makes a difference. Note that they don't take cash which shouldn't be a big issue as we live in a world of smartphones.
I generally get their cold brew which tastes delicious. Their protein balls and Almond croissant is a must to try. Quick and friendly service.
Delicious and smooth coffee in bright white cafe on Little Collins street. You cannot miss this place as it stands out amongst the darker corners of Little Collins. Perfect spot to sit and people watch!
I came here as part of the Ritual promotion and paid $1 for a gluten-free peanut butter brownie which is normally $5. I was super impressed with it. It's got the same texture and consistency as a non gluten-free brownie and the portion is bigger than what you get at other places. For this price, it's an absolute bargain. It's a truly delicious brownie that was moist and not too sweet. Definitely recommend. I took away the brownie but the place looks bright, sleek and clean.
P.S I cut the brownie in half then realised I didn't take a picture!
By the way, if you're not on the Ritual app yet, you can redeem meals for $1 each until 28th June and you get $10 credit if you use my code CHERYL50296. You're welcome!
I chose to come to this cute little cafe after reading some of the reviews here and also because of the $5 welcome gift on their app. The staff was really friendly. I tried their original bubble cup and almond croissant. There's a small area to eat, but most people take away. The bubble cup is interesting, with small tapioca. The paper straw makes it a bit hard to suck them up. I think I'll bring my reusable straw next time. The ice coffee is not overly sweet like most bubble tea, which is good.
A lovely futuristic cafe with a modern white setup. I love trying coffee in different places in Melbourne and this was definitely one high up on my list. Will definitely return again.
As of today, a quality of roast coffee beans from the Industry Beans is one of the best in Australia.
Swing by this city store located in Lt. Collins street every morning is a joy of opening the new day in Melbourne CBD.
Staffs are very professional, welcoming and friendly. Nothing to add for roasted coffees in this store as I believe this is the top quality.
The taste is full of aromatic, smooth, and tempting flavor.
Recommended!
Tried a few places while in Melbourne and this store definitely had one of the best tasting coffees around. The store has a lovely atmosphere, cool minimalistic aesthetic and friendly staff. Would recommend the "Fitzroy Iced".
Nice professional coffee I got, coffee is sour and strong and fully feeling full taste of body once breaking crema for the first sip.
My absolute favourite place to buy coffee beans from. Not only is shipping always so quick, they’re coffee is of the highest quality. I recently ordered their new Fitzroy Iced Coffee to try it and it tastes wonderful!! Will definitely be restocking when I run out.
Will continue to purchase from Industry Beans for years to come. They’re the absolute best.
Famous coffee brand in Melbourne. Must visit. I loved their long black. Strong and tasty. not bitter at all. The staff are amazing. Specifically the barista guy. He was very welcoming and friendly.
Nice and clean interior. I found the regular coffee pretty good but do not bother with bubble cup it's not worth it.
Update Dec 2021:
Coffee was good and the staff are friendly. I would happily have coffee here if I was in this part of the city. Check out the updated pics!
Ok coffee and great interior fitout... It looks very promising so I might check it out later to see if the coffee is any better the second time...
Second visit and the coffee was a smidge better so I chucked on another star. I reckon it can still be better though 😉
