Way better than HJs and most other popular fast food chains. Still not really better than anything else but its priced accordingly, and does free refills.

The burgers were good at best. They taste just like hungry Jacks, if I rearranged the ingredients in their burgers. I love the bottomless soft drink, and the variety of drinks. Customer service was great and the restaurant was clean. Overall it was worth it. 4 Stars.

Very solid, just as I remember it from California.
Pleasant staff, always happy to accommodate anything, kids friendly and superb burgers.
I hope it shakes up the fast food market

Burgers are well worth the price. Sides are of decent size as well, slightly salty but not too bad. Who doesnt love refillable drinks? Definitely worth the visit. Will be telling my friends and family about this wonderful experience.

Having lived in the US for 10 years, I have to say although CJ in Melbourne is abit different but it actually didn’t disappoint. You need to compare them with fastfood as oppose to places like Grilld. Burgers are really nice and simple and I like them more than Hungry Jacks and Grilld, but that’s just my opinion. Fries are a bit underwhelming...

Was excited to have Carl’s in Melbourne. Always had them overseas and usually had good experience with them. I tried their basic chicken burger which is basically just deep fried chicken filling with lettuce and mayo. Size is bigger than other fast food, and eventhough it was quite simple, I was pretty happy with it! I read the reviews here and many people said the buns are too sweet. Well, it’s how I like it!! Onion rings are nice. Will definitely come back to try their other burgers.

Finally have Carl’s Jr in Melbourne and it didn’t disappoint. Famous Star Beef Burger 🍔 Medium Fries 🍟 & free refillable soft drink 🥤 for under $9. Fast Food is actually cheap again.

Had wanted to go here since the store was announced, and finally last night i had the chance to do so! And boy was it worth it! I got the Double Thickburger combo as well as the new Philly Cheesesteak burger too. The chips are absolutely delicious here and did you know they do free refills on cup drinks? Could’ve stopped my night there to be honest. The burgers were perfect, the double thickburger is really messy however, but these burgers were everything that i hoped for. Will be coming back regularly hopefully!

Knox was missing a classic burger joint like this. Line was long last friday but it moved really well. Stacks of burger choices. Went with the Famous Star with Cheese. It said it came with their "special sauce" but im pretty sure it was just ketchup and mayo... Buttttt Tasted exactly like a Whopper from Hungrys! The way they used to make it (they're disappointing these days). This Was delicious! The chips are great too. Not oily or salty. Onion rings werent good so wouldnt order again. Their chicken burgers look good. Variety = lots of opportunity to go back 😉.
Great atmosphere. This will do great in the Ozone.

I love the buns on the burgers, it's not crunchy or stiff, it's like the Japanese milk bun where it's soft and brioche-like. The Portobello mushroom Burger was alright, could use more mushroom. The waffle fries are good and the Oreo shake is the best!!

Great burgers with many choices available. Clean and spacious restaurant. A self-serve soft drink machine is always a bonus.

We ate in and the meal took quite a while to arrive, approx 10 minutes. However the burgers were very nice and had a lovely char grilled taste. Other ingredients such as the tomato were thicker than other fast food restaurants. The 'large' chips was disappointingly small though.
